I think the interviewer knows much more things that western people doesnt know. I have seen many foreign news that has never broadcast in the western news. Just like so often how Western countries accused the Chinese government with so many especially the declaration that caused the hong kong riot but China hasnt sent any troops to Hong Kong throughout. In the face of Russian aggression, I find most of the questions posed here, rather silly. By invading Russia, Ukraine is defending itself and giving Russia the impetus to go to the negotiating table.
Not to escalate into an actual full out war, this conflict has been skirmishes and back forth bordering. I don't think many Brits here understand what is at stake, if you think we're safe whilst pushing for larger battles you might just find your children and grandchildren going to war.

When Crimea was occupied in 2014, the demoralised Ukrainian military didn’t fire a single shot to protect it. I'm not a military expert, but I have fought enough wars to understand that going 50,60,70, or so miles into a country as big as Russia without air supremacy is a terrible idea. Armor vehicles can easily be picked up and destroyed, and soldiers can be geo-located, pin down, and encircled.

In the face of Russian aggression, I find most of the questions posed here, rather silly. By invading Russia, Ukraine is defending itself and giving Russia the impetus to go to the negotiating table.

I'm not a military expert, but I have fought enough wars to understand that going 50,60,70, or so miles into a country as big as Russia without air supremacy is a terrible idea. Armor vehicles can easily be picked up and destroyed, and soldiers can be geo-located, pin down, and encircled.
