I’m a 40 year old mother of about to be 7 children and hunny God Bless your mom for teaching you to be so tidy. I teach my kids the same thing about no matter where you live keep it clean . I’m 5 months pregnant with #7 now and I’m already labeled as a neat person lol but every time I watch your videos it makes me wanna get up and clean again lol . Blessings to you hunny and just wanna say thank you for being so transparent we need more Christian’s to be honest like you. Chloe! You can still use the candle wax instead of burning it so there won’t be any soot! Just melt down the candle wax and then pour the wax into silicone molds that you can get on Amazon, and then you can use the wax as wax melts instead of candles, so there’s no waste! Love your videos! 💜💜

Also I am also a candle lover and how I got rid of soot is when I light them, I turn off all fans, ac, or heater and I close all the windows. It helps stop the production of soot. Then I let my candles burn for about 15-30 mins, I get no soot and the smell lasts longer in my home, even after I turn fans, ac, or heater back on or open my windows. Also I cut the wicks down each use.

Thank you chloe for the fabric softener and water tip! I paused this video midway to make my own mixture using bottled water and the Snuggle Lavender & Orchid fabric softner in a little spray bottle...and WOW! It really works my whole place smells so good just from spraying it on my couch and bed.

If you want to keep the candle stuff out then i recommend getting a candle warmer when i switched it was amazing and to me and it helps my candles last longer.

I have a suggestion since you love the Downy intense fabric softener. Put some in a clean spray bottle (with a little bit of water to dilute it) spray it like Febreze and it will have your house smelling amazing!
