I ordered this conversion kit a while back. I got around to using it on my P320 last week. The kit worked great. I followed the videos carefully, pausing and rewinding as needed. Everything went very well. I used some small files from Harbor Freight to smooth out the side of the cut that the safety lever detent rides on. Reassembly of the FCU went well. I added a X carry grip and a X5 Legion flat trigger. After getting everything back together, my full size p320 feels great. I have owned and carried a several 1911s and this manual safety on my p320, feels to me like a safety on a 1911. Unlike a 1911, the P320 safety can be on while loading and clearing the pistol. The safety locks the trigger but does not lock the slide. The safety can also be on during a "press check" to verify if a round is chambered. The manual safety also gives more peace of mind when holstering. I highly recommend this kit for anyone needing to modify their FCU to allow an installation of a manual safety. This kit has very high quality components and fits tightly to the FCU to allow a proper and precise modification. This kit is a solid 5 out of 5 stars for both price and quality.

Hi. I just saw your package fulfilled a little while ago! Thanks for your support and your kind words! Once you get it let me know if you have any questions.
Update. The package arrived to my mailbox yesterday. All the items look great and were neatly packaged. I should have some free time and a few other parts gathered up by the end of the month. I will report back when I get it done. I looking forward to using this product. Thanks again!
Although the grip mod kit was not designed for it, I have had people successfully cut the AXG. The template is just a bit loose (requires extra tape to thicken the surface) and the AXG grip panels need to be cut by hand. FCU portion works just fine like any other P320.
I will eventually. I’ve thought about ways to be able to measure and demonstrate the results, it’s difficult to express “felt” recoil (based on scientific papers regarding felt recoil), so I would rather show you true recoil so it can be understood and quantified by subscribers. I’ll get back to you guys on this one !
Thank you! The dry fire tool was a bit expensive to make (I don't want to charge a large amount if I can help it), however, I have been asked quite a bit about this and I feel like it might be worth making a limited amount to see how it goes.
You didn’t miss anything. The two cutters will work on the FCU, I only provide a second tungsten cutter in case you want the extra “power” it provides while cutting. I recommend starting with the standard cutter and only use the tungsten if you’re comfortable. It’s simply for added convenience.
Awesome, thank you. Just placed my order. I have an about 5 to convert. I’ll patiently wait for the OG frame jig (or free hand it like I’ve done before).
@kldahlin That’s great! Thank you for your support!! If you’re doing 5, I recommend you make sure to take it easy and avoid as much touching of the cutting bit to the templates (avoid cutting into the template itself as best you can). I’ve heard of people doing up to 3 so I’m interested in knowing how 5 will turn out, mainly if the cutting bits will manage that many. Keep me in the loop!
Your videos are very interesting and informative. With all the hub bub out there about the 320’s “firing without a trigger pull”. I owned the original 320 and did send it back to Sig for the voluntary upgrade. I currently own the 320x. Zero issues with either of them. I think obtaining a holster made for the pistol is extremely important. Will the M Safety kit work with a Wilson lower? Thank you!
Hi. Every so often this comes up, many people gain confidence after understanding the mechanics behind the P320 because there is a lot of people purposely misleading the community because negative press makes for lots of views. The 320 with the voluntary upgrade of a very good pistol - so was pre-upgrade in my opinion. To answer your question. Yes it does work with the WC grip.
Very nice and well done video. Just one question. Does this work with the legion as well because of the tungsten infusion grip? Maybe I missed that information in your video. Thank you so much. Chris
I wish I can just get the template n cutters for the grip modification only, I don't need the fcu one. Is there other places or later be able where I can get just the template for just manual safety cut on the grips for xfive legion or similar saftey sizes only? Like be nice get template set for different type grips saftey cuts.
@SIGMECHANICS yea I later notice n saw your other video, still I wish I can buy just grip template alone not whole kit, since have no use for fcu one at all.
Just used your kit. It is amazing. Only issue I ran into is that my slide release levers on both sides are interfering with the safety wings. How do I fix?
Are you using stock manual safety levers? There is no way that the levers should be long enough to interact with the slide catch levers. Send me a picture and I’ll see if I can work out what happened. sigmechanics@gmail.com
Understandable. If it helps, with several thousand of these out there, I’ve yet to hear that someone was unable to do the work. It’s a pretty simple and straightforward project for most. Just take your time and it will work.
@@SIGMECHANICS That actually is very helpful. I noticed that its currently not available on your website. it says it should be available in 2 weeks, is that accurate? Thanks!
Unofficially yes, I have had people successfully do this to the AXG, although the kit is not made specifically for it. The grip panels have to be milled by hand though.
Just finished this on a p320 xten comp and sadly it does not fit. The slide is slightly wider than the frame which interferes with putting the safety lever up. Really kind of annoyed I only found this out AFTER everything was modded and cut. Not sure if I should file down the slide or safety levers. I’m worried about the finish on my slide. I’m really confused because I find it hard to believe my xten comp slide is wider than a regular xten. That doesn’t seem logical. Any suggestions.
That’s correct. While the kit WILL work on the FCU, the factory slide and the factory manual safety levers don’t work together for the reason you stated. I have seen people shave down the inner edges of the levers and it looked good, but that requires much more work. The kit works on the regular X-TEN, and all P320s except for the X-TEN Comp.
@ will the bits in the kit work well on the lever and/or slide? It looks like I’d have to take off so much material on the inside of the lever there would not be much left. Would grinding on the slide be a bad idea?
I am working on a few trigger models! I haven’t specifically designed one with an additional trigger safety but it is easy enough once a design is finalized to make some revisions to make that happen. I know there’s a demand since I see this question come up often.
@@SIGMECHANICS That would be absolutely fantastic. I'm still trying to learn about all the safety features and I'm typically used to DA/SA guns. I read a comment pretty much saying Sig just made a single action striker. Once I dry fired mine it made complete sense due to how light and little the take up is. I'm still trying to learn of the dingus or safety blade will even help with more so holstering safety.
I haven’t tried it but if you technically make the holes for the trigger ever so slightly smaller and then lap the trigger to the FCU you will theoretically reduce the play on the trigger.
I want to use your kit on my new AXG Carry. I've read through the comments and learned that it CAN be done but I have a question. Does your grip cutting module work on the AXG, because a) you state that the aluminum is thinner that the polymer, and in some replies you state the grips must be cut by hand. Is that just the side grips or is that the aluminum grip frame? Any hints for my AXG? Thank you kindly.
Hey! Sure I can help clarify. The kit is not designed for AXG specifically because the AXG has a thinner sidewall. Many people have still used the kit to make the cut because it will still indicate the exact position of the cut out, however, there are a few things you need to know First, You will need to find a way to secure the grip cutting template onto the AXG, this usually means you will have to be extra careful and have a thumb or finger on top of the template while you cut. Second, you would only be able to cut the aluminum frame. to do that you will need to remove the side panels. The side panels will need to be cut independently and without a template. This means that after you cut the aluminum grip, you will need to freehand cut the side panels.
The real answer is… maybe. That lever was a prototype I am working on (just for fun), and the over-sized design was not something I expected people to want. After making it I also started to work on a more toned down version (more of an “enhanced” safety less of a P226 type. So far I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from within the channel community, but not a lot outside our little “bubble”. Therefore I’m looking into a smaller production run, but unless the prices make sense (I don’t want you guys to pay a crazy high fee for just a prototype lever), I might have to wait until that works out (value wise). I’m actively looking now and if I find a manufacturer that works I definitely will let the community know.
I have a question. SIG Sauer P320 has been on the news regarding the safety of the firearm. Will this safety lever prevent the discharges I have been hearing about?
The toolkit will simply be adding a manual safety. For all intents and purposes it WILL prevent an accidental trigger pull. It’s actually a direct replication of the M17 military service pistol, so use will be the exact same.
I haven’t modded the Icarus grips, but I do see people modding the AXG successfully. The kit comes with two cutting bits. They will both work extremely well so you don’t need to use the tungsten bit per se, it comes down to personal preference. I prefer using the carbide cutter because it is more forgiving if you don’t have experience cutting.
I'll report back with my experience after im done. Thanks for all that you do for the Sig community and finally picked up the msafe-t kit. The grip module cutout template was a great addition to the kit. @@SIGMECHANICS
Sort of, but not really. The issue will still be present, but the addition of the MS assembly will prevent further travel of the trigger which will stop an AD where a non-MS would let it happen. If your preference is to have the adjustable trigger (fully tuned) then I would strongly recommend the addition of the MS.
Yes it can. However this kit is not specifically made for the AXG. Although several people have used it to successfully make the conversion the AXG requires you to manually cut the side panel grips.
The kit isn’t specifically made for the AXG because the sides of the AXG grips are thinner than the polymer ones. That being said, a few people have successfully converted the AXG using the kit, but you have to 1. Manually retain the template steady, and 2. Remove the side grip covers and finish the cuts into the grips themselves freehand. They do look very nice once completed but not having done it myself I cannot say if it was a simple modification or if it took extra time to complete it. Hope this helps!
@@SIGMECHANICS Thanks for all your help. I was able to finally get the safety installed on the Scorpion. It was a little tough to get the AXG module and grips trimmed perfectly. The grips make it thicker than the normal P320 grip but overall I think it came out pretty good. I don;t think I can attach a picture here, but I am pretty happy with how it came out overall. And I like the peace of mind of having the safety for CCW
Although you can mod the grip and FCU in the X-Ten compact, the problem lies with the factory lever assembly. The compact version has a slide that’s wider and does not let the levers move freely (they impact the slide), I have had people modify the lever wings to accommodate this however and it does work but will require extra cutting to the factory parts.
have any thoughts on why the pre upgrade p320 would go off when dropped, they claim the trigger was too heavy and its mass was causing it to fire when dropped, but ive seen people hit the p320 with a hanmer in the back while the gun is being pointed vertically and it also goes off, so it cant be the mass of the trigger
The hammer test vs drop test is essentially the same thing. When the gun drops to the floor and makes impact the trigger through inertia will keep moving (like how when you break hard in your car, your body keeps wanting to move forward), similarly, when you impact the gun with a hammer, your essentially causing the same motion, the transfer of energy from the hammer will go to the trigger, the trigger is in a pivot, and if the momentum is strong enough, the trigger will want to travel. Of course the same travel still happens with a lighter trigger, but with a light trigger there is not enough mass to overcome the internal springs and levers whereas the heavy trigger will retain more energy from the impact and therefore force passed the safeties and literally pull the trigger enough to fire. This can be said of pretty much all guns, it’s not exclusive to the P320.
@@SIGMECHANICS ah great explination, thank you for the reply, i had been wondering why but it makes perfect sense. thanks again for taking the time to respond, wonderfull youtube channel
Although the kit is not made for it, several people have emailed me to let me know that they converted the AXG using the kit. It just takes a little bit more work in the sense that you must manually hold the jig in place while you cut and the side grips need to be cut, free hand
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but will this work on the P320 X5 Legion? I have not purchased the pistol yet because of the lack of a safety and this seems like it is the answer I have been looking for to make it the perfect handgun.
Yes it absolutely will work with the X5. Specifically the kit was made for the X-series grip (which comes with the X5) so you’d be all set. Once you get your gun, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message at sigmechanics@gmail.com
By a margin yes, you can cut into both the template and the FCU if you don’t manage pressure on the cutting bit. However the steel on the template was specially selected to hold up as much as possible and a chromed coating is added to add to the strength and allow a bit of contact time with the cutting tool.
No this kit is specifically for the P320. Although converting the P365 is substantially easier since you only really need to modify the grip and buy the lever. All P365 FCUs simply need to drop in the safety lever, no other mods are needed.
Yes, the fact that it’s metal won’t be a problem. For example even though the MSAFET kit is not specifically for the AXG I’ve had people successfully mod the grip. I know people do mod the 365 grip too so if you have the knowledge you should be able to do it just as easily.
Not at the moment (it’s in the works), but in the mean time I know that Robert Burke (AKA The Sig Armorer) does do this as a service with the Sig Mechanics kit. Hope this helps!
It’s currently sold out, but only for another week. The reason being, I’ve made some revisions to the kit for the next batch, most notable is the upgraded material to S7 tool steel! (Even though no one has ever brought it up, I figured that for the little extra cost, I can make the MSAFE-T the absolute highest quality I could - meaning less room for errors while you cut and more chances to reuse the kit on another FCU due to less wear). Also, this does not mean the price goes up, I’m doing this at no additional cost, I just like making awesome stuff! Make sure to sign up for restock updates on the website. Thanks for your support!!
What an awesome reason to be out of stock! I'll be a couple days out on getting my spare p320 anyways. So probably will be restocked by the time I have the FC In-hand. Thanks for everything, and for doing these videos. I'm glad to see Manual safety kids becoming so common and so thoughtful.
@Patriot-1 I DON’T know anyone in that area, although I can say the process is relatively simple, any smith with the smallest amount of knowledge about handheld tools like a Dremel should be able to do this work.
@@SIGMECHANICS since Michigan is a “blue” state 😢 I think that’s all we have here… a small amount of knowledge 🤷♂️ But thanks I’ll be looking into it. I have no idea why I didn’t get the thumb safety in the first place, and my X-5 I inherited from my son
@@Sig_Steve technically no. The problem, however, is not cutting the FCU and the grip. However, the stock manual safety lever dimensions don’t work with the wider slide.
seems like this kit doesn't come with the actual safety lever. where should i buy that? also, the description says the grip cutting tool is not for the standard grip. i have a standard p320 full size, does that mean this kit wont fully work for me? sorry for the questions, the number of options for the p320 is mind numbing i can't keep track
You’re not kidding, the amount of variations is mind-boggling. You are right the kit does not come with the manual safety assembly that you will have to pick up from your favourite retailer. The kit will work for your P320 without any issues. The current kit being sold is the V2 that means that you can use this on both X series grips as well as the standard grips.
No, even though you can cut the FCU and grip and also install the MS, the X-ten comp seems to have a thicker slide that prevents the MS lever from actually shifting up.
@boltblazer1670 the problem isn’t that the kit won’t work it’s that the Factory parts don’t fit that model. Technically, you can still modify the FCU and grip module but once you install the Sig Sauer factory parts, you will find the dimensions are too small for that slide. Edit: I just also want to add that I have had other people simply modify the factory components by shaving off some of the manual safety’s ledge so that it clears the wider slide
You would think that with all the cases of Sig P320s going off by themselves in holsters, Sig would offer a manual thumb safety as standard on their P320s.
I fully understand where you’re coming from and what you mean by your comment, but I just want to note that (for those that are maybe unaware), the ND/AD situation that is being mentioned so often has never been independently confirmed to be repeatable by anyone to date. Without substantiating evidence I’d be hesitant to directly claim they “go off on their own”, though I am not saying it’s impossible (I am willing to change views with evidence), it currently seems improbable.
@@SIGMECHANICS You're right. I knew that, but it still makes me nervous enough to lose confidence in the P320 as a carry gun with one in the chamber. I'm going to see if my local gunsmith can do this manual safety job. Thanks.
Ha! It’s just as nerve racking your first time, but once you get the cutter on the metal you get a feel for it and it’s super easy. If you pick one up and have any questions feel free to shoot me a message to sigmechanics@gmail.com
@@SIGMECHANICS I do own this pistol, Sig P320 full 4.7, and since it doesn't come with the MS, I contacted Sig and they said I can send it in, and they will install it, but using also a new grip modular with cutout. I will do this because I normally do not carry with a round in the chamber. This is a fantastic pistol. Happy holidays..
@MusicMinisterJP7 making this modification would not change the way the gun works in any way. However, the P320 is considered single action due to it being a striker fired gun.

@bob_mosavo Yes, the video itself will need to be self hosted. At the moment I need to leave it as a YT video link so people have access to it, but I’ll set up the MP4 soon. The file is about 8Gb so I’m not sure if I can easily upload the MP4 to the website via Shopify directly, I’ll speak to my developer because I’ll need a work around.

Update. The package arrived to my mailbox yesterday. All the items look great and were neatly packaged. I should have some free time and a few other parts gathered up by the end of the month. I will report back when I get it done. I looking forward to using this product. Thanks again!
If u guys want top notch mods go with the sig mechanic 👨🔧
@Sig Mechanics , How about for a P320 AXG grip module, have you tried that with this kit?
Although the grip mod kit was not designed for it, I have had people successfully cut the AXG. The template is just a bit loose (requires extra tape to thicken the surface) and the AXG grip panels need to be cut by hand. FCU portion works just fine like any other P320.
@@SIGMECHANICS Would love to see it done ;)
@andrewthornton9374 send me an email at sigmechanics@gmail.com to discuss.
It would be awesome if you'd consider doing a video on the whys and how's an aftermarket recoil spring effects function and felt recoil.
Looks like a great kit. Nice work and excellent video to walk through the process. What ever happened to your dry fire training tool?
Thank you! The dry fire tool was a bit expensive to make (I don't want to charge a large amount if I can help it), however, I have been asked quite a bit about this and I feel like it might be worth making a limited amount to see how it goes.
Did I miss something. What is the second and mill for? Ordering one right now. Call me old fashioned but I love manual thumb safeties
Brilliant design
Thank you!
You should make a jig for the cutout on the opposite side for the mup
You mean directly into the jig itself?
You are a Saint. Thank you
Very nice and well done video.
Just one question. Does this work with the legion as well because of the tungsten infusion grip? Maybe I missed that information in your video.
Thank you so much.
Chris
Thank you! Yes it works with the legion. As a matter of fact the grip I cut in this video is a legion model.
I wish I can just get the template n cutters for the grip modification only, I don't need the fcu one. Is there other places or later be able where I can get just the template for just manual safety cut on the grips for xfive legion or similar saftey sizes only? Like be nice get template set for different type grips saftey cuts.
The V2 template already works of most all grip module types and styles.
@SIGMECHANICS yea I later notice n saw your other video, still I wish I can buy just grip template alone not whole kit, since have no use for fcu one at all.
@kratos696 send me a message to sigmechanics@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do/find in my workshop.
I've been wanting to get this, I'm just so worried that I'm going to ruin my FCU or Grip module. seems really straight forward though
Thanks!
@I_Like_2_Laugh more like a few more days. I think by Thursday should be in stock. if you sign up for notification, you will get an email right away.
Is this work possible on axg grip?
Do you know if I can use the kit for a manual safety cutout on the Polymer80 P320 PTEX Grip Module at all?
Send me a picture of your setup to sigmechanics@gmail.com, I’ll let you know based off the profile.
How does the manual safety on a p three twenty actually work? You did a wonderful illustration on the p365. Can you do the same on the p320?
Absolutely. I’m actually working on that exact video right now!
Was also wondering. Can't wait
Would you consider making your own trigger that has a trigger safety?
I have a mup1 and the trigger wiggles a little bit it has play. Is there anyway to stop this and tighten it up
I haven’t tried it but if you technically make the holes for the trigger ever so slightly smaller and then lap the trigger to the FCU you will theoretically reduce the play on the trigger.
Any idea when these kits will be back in stock?
Approx 1 week.
I want to use your kit on my new AXG Carry. I've read through the comments and learned that it
CAN be done but I have a question. Does your grip cutting module work on the AXG, because a) you
state that the aluminum is thinner that the polymer, and in some replies you state the grips must be
cut by hand. Is that just the side grips or is that the aluminum grip frame? Any hints for my AXG?
Thank you kindly.
Hey! Sure I can help clarify. The kit is not designed for AXG specifically because the AXG has a thinner sidewall.
Many people have still used the kit to make the cut because it will still indicate the exact position of the cut out, however, there are a few things you need to know
First, You will need to find a way to secure the grip cutting template onto the AXG, this usually means you will have to be extra careful and have a thumb or finger on top of the template while you cut.
Second, you would only be able to cut the aluminum frame. to do that you will need to remove the side panels. The side panels will need to be cut independently and without a template. This means that after you cut the aluminum grip, you will need to freehand cut the side panels.
To confirm, I can install the safety on a 45 right? After doing the conversion of course
Correct. No issues doing so on a .45, currently the only P320 model this does not work with is the X-Ten “Comp”.
@@SIGMECHANICS thank you Sir
Will this work in the sig 320 nitro full-size 9mm to turn to safety
Yes it will.
A nice 👍 and thanks for replying fast.
And another thing is there a safety mechanism with only for the right hand not to have both sides.
Not that I’ve seen yet.
Will this work for the P320 Spectre Comp blackout?
Yes it would. The only model it does not work with is the X-Ten Comp (due to the wider slide). Otherwise you’re good to go!
Thank you so much!
Ordered one.
Thank you for your support! Let me know if you have any questions.
Sent over here from Skips Guns... is that p365 safety happening? Looks great from his video.
Thanks 👍
I have a question. SIG Sauer P320 has been on the news regarding the safety of the firearm. Will this safety lever prevent the discharges I have been hearing about?
The toolkit will simply be adding a manual safety. For all intents and purposes it WILL prevent an accidental trigger pull.
It’s actually a direct replication of the M17 military service pistol, so use will be the exact same.
Any tips for cutting Icarus grip module? Which cutting bit do you recommend?
I haven’t modded the Icarus grips, but I do see people modding the AXG successfully. The kit comes with two cutting bits. They will both work extremely well so you don’t need to use the tungsten bit per se, it comes down to personal preference. I prefer using the carbide cutter because it is more forgiving if you don’t have experience cutting.
I'll report back with my experience after im done. Thanks for all that you do for the Sig community and finally picked up the msafe-t kit. The grip module cutout template was a great addition to the kit. @@SIGMECHANICS
would a manual safety essentially negate the loss of saftey from the adjustable trigger when activated?
Sort of, but not really. The issue will still be present, but the addition of the MS assembly will prevent further travel of the trigger which will stop an AD where a non-MS would let it happen.
If your preference is to have the adjustable trigger (fully tuned) then I would strongly recommend the addition of the MS.
Can the AXG grip module be converted to use a manual safety?
Yes it can. However this kit is not specifically made for the AXG. Although several people have used it to successfully make the conversion the AXG requires you to manually cut the side panel grips.
What kind of barrel is that?
That is a fitted barrel from Barsto. They make excellent barrels, check them out!
QQ. I have a P320 AXG Scorpion which has the aluminum grip module. Are the included bits usable in my case?
The kit isn’t specifically made for the AXG because the sides of the AXG grips are thinner than the polymer ones. That being said, a few people have successfully converted the AXG using the kit, but you have to 1. Manually retain the template steady, and 2. Remove the side grip covers and finish the cuts into the grips themselves freehand.
They do look very nice once completed but not having done it myself I cannot say if it was a simple modification or if it took extra time to complete it.
Hope this helps!
@@SIGMECHANICS thanks that makes sense. It think it should be ok. It is just an expensive grip to replace if I mess it up :)
@@davehahn23we’re you able to get your scorpion cut out. I’m thinking about doing the same thing? Thanks
@@kingdomliving5868 I have all the stuff but have not had time tomorrow do it yet
Will this fit on p320 xten carry compact 10mm? Thanks.
@SIGMECHANICS 😊 Thank you so very much. I appreciated the response and detailed explanation. 👌
have any thoughts on why the pre upgrade p320 would go off when dropped, they claim the trigger was too heavy and its mass was causing it to fire when dropped, but ive seen people hit the p320 with a hanmer in the back while the gun is being pointed vertically and it also goes off, so it cant be the mass of the trigger

I wish I could do this to my aluminum legion 320 ha.
Is the template steel much harder than the frame steel?
By a margin yes, you can cut into both the template and the FCU if you don’t manage pressure on the cutting bit. However the steel on the template was specially selected to hold up as much as possible and a chromed coating is added to add to the strength and allow a bit of contact time with the cutting tool.
Will the work with the new Sig Legion P365... I really hope so as Sig seems to not offer a manual safety on their new version of P365's and P320's.
No this kit is specifically for the P320. Although converting the P365 is substantially easier since you only really need to modify the grip and buy the lever.
All P365 FCUs simply need to drop in the safety lever, no other mods are needed.
Thank you for your reply. When the new M17/18's w/ X Grips arrive, I will be getting one and get your kit for that.
@@SIGMECHANICS
I did forget one thing.... the new Legion P365 is metal...I don't see any markings for the manual safety notch on the side(s).
Yes, the fact that it’s metal won’t be a problem. For example even though the MSAFET kit is not specifically for the AXG I’ve had people successfully mod the grip. I know people do mod the 365 grip too so if you have the knowledge you should be able to do it just as easily.
Do you offer install services?
Not at the moment (it’s in the works), but in the mean time I know that Robert Burke (AKA The Sig Armorer) does do this as a service with the Sig Mechanics kit.
Hope this helps!
Hi will this kit work for a p320 max?
Yes it will.
Going to order a kit and a safety parts kit soon fr9m you
It’s currently sold out, but only for another week.

Just want to triple check before buying parts. This will work with an XTEN using the P320 manual safety kit from Sig correct?
Yes. The X-Ten full size.
Thank you for the help! And great video!
@@SIGMECHANICS, so I won't work on the xten comp?
@@Sig_Steve technically no. The problem, however, is not cutting the FCU and the grip. However, the stock manual safety lever dimensions don’t work with the wider slide.
@@SIGMECHANICS interesting, so the xten full size has a narrower slide?
Will this work for P80 grip modules?
I haven’t tried it on the P80, but based on the design side profile looks very similar to the standard grip.

@owenbearden5769 thank you! And also thank you for your support, these kits are helping me on a few other projects I want to put out this year.
seems like this kit doesn't come with the actual safety lever. where should i buy that? also, the description says the grip cutting tool is not for the standard grip. i have a standard p320 full size, does that mean this kit wont fully work for me? sorry for the questions, the number of options for the p320 is mind numbing i can't keep track
Will this work on the Xten 10mm Comp?
No, even though you can cut the FCU and grip and also install the MS, the X-ten comp seems to have a thicker slide that prevents the MS lever from actually shifting up.
@@SIGMECHANICS Any plans to make a kit for the Comp? I get trigger awareness, but a 3 pound hair trigger with no safety is lunacy.
Man hopefully they’re back in stock soon
Production is done so they will be here very soon!
@@SIGMECHANICS sweet just got a p320 and want a manual safety before i carry it
You would think that with all the cases of Sig P320s going off by themselves in holsters, Sig would offer a manual thumb safety as standard on their P320s.
Thanks.

Just buy a FCU with a manual safety. If you dont want the manual safety Sig sells a elimination kit.
