  • How to make VEGAN KIMCHI | No Garlic & No Onion (for Low FODMAP Diet) | Vegan AMBW Couple
Hi everyone we're gonna make Vegan Kimchi. Since Kimchi at stores is not usually Vegan we decided to make our own and also for those who has some food sensitivity. There's no Garlic & Onion. Don't worry even without them is still very tasty & healthy 😉
    Recipe:
    🌱 1kg of Napa Cabbage
    🌱 50g Sea Salt
    🌱 100g spring Onion (Scallions)
🌱 a hand full of Tashima (Kelp) 5 pieces
🌱 1 tbsp of sticky rice powder
🌱 1/4 of Asian pear or Apple
    🌱 1 thumb of ginger
🌱 1 cup of red chili powder
    Fermentation:
leave it 2-3 days at room temperature then store in the fridge
    Et voila :) Bon Appétit
    맛있게 드세요

From someone who can barely boil water😁, let me tell you about my favorite "cooking" experience. Decades (and decades) ago, back then in my usual way, I made THE most basic tunafish macaroni salad, with noodles, tunafish, mayonnaise, onions plus a bit of salt and pepper. I had finished eating 1/2 a bowl when I realized that it really tasted pretty bland. It was then that it hit me that I had forgotten to put the tuna in. Welcome to my world.🙄🤪🙄
You can take comfort in knowing that the 2 of you are light years ahead of me. Just sayin'.✨

    I enjoyed the video.
I am in the US. I used to make kim chi years ago. I am not Korean but I learned how to make it from a Korean student of mine. Now I buy from the store. There are many vegan options available and I found one that I like. It is easier to buy it. If I used a large amount, I would make my own to save money but I don’t use a lot.
I am amazed that your grandmother is 104 years old. Wow! Do you think that her long life is due to genetics or due to a healthy lifestyle or both?

Thanks~ 🥰❤ Wow it's great now you even have vegan kimchi options at the markets. I think both~ She is not completely vegan but she has been quite plant based for her last 20 years or so. But one thinh we want to mention is no matter how old you are we need to work out until our last breath because after she stopped doing house chores because we thiught she was too old then she started to become weaker too quickly... Now she cannot even move... These days we see so many seniors who continue to work out and they look great~!!! That's something we regret for our grandma 🥺 So our goal is to work out no matter what~!!!
