Looking for sone pro tips pls. For roof inspections i need the shot to be shorter and wider. pano is no good because sometimes the stitch is in accurate. I bought a wide angle lense so that is available. Just want to get as rectangle of a shot as possible if that makes sense.
Great video definitely going to use some of these tips moving forward. One question I do have for you though is what SD card do you recommend for the Mini 3 Pro?
Great video. Just received mine and interested in photography. Can you recommend a good tutorial video that actually goes through the steps and settings on the Mini 3 Pro... I figured out how to switch between AF and MF.... And then? How do I manually focus?
@@StefanMalloch that would be outstanding! There are a bunch of things I haven't figured out yet in terms of selecting exposure points and focus points, if that's possible. A symbol pops up when AF locks in... Kind of a sun 🌞 looking symbol. Is that exposure? Simple things like this that more experienced aerial photographers take for granted. Thankfully my spare batteries should be here Thursday....
@@StefanMalloch I was on the homepage of youtube in canada and i saw a banner at the top to do with drones. It linked to an official playlist which had this video in it.
Great video, photos and tips Stefan. Do you combine manual exposure bracketing along with 48mp and manual panorama? I am intsrested in photography more than video and your photos are excellent.
Thanks my friend. If I find a great shot I will definitely bracket both hdrs and pano manually in 48mp. Check out that detail in the pano in the video! That was straight pano.
I found using the ND filter for motion blur in video, and then taking still images resulted in photos that were not as sharp as they could be, due to the movement of the drone and slowish shutter speed; whereas, with high shutter speed and no filter the images are sharper! Does that make sense?
Good tips, Stefan. But I still have one question. I want access to the individual photos of my panoramas to stitch in Lightroom, but there is no Panorama folder on my SD card. I'm shooting in JPEG+RAW. Is there another setting I'm missing? The manual doesn't mention it and I've not found any videos that fully explain it, either. I'm using the latest firmware updates in the drone (as of 9/22/23), and using Quick Transfer on my Mini 3 Pro to move photos from the drone to my iPhone 13 Pro. I've also looked at the SD Card with my computer, and the Panorama folder is nowhere to be found. But they are stitched by the drone.
What is your favorite aspect of drone photography?
The photos featured in this video are beautiful! Great job.

Is the Editing Software Free with the Drone
Make a detail video on how to use the editor please
I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for all my edits and storage. The photography package for both is about $10/month.

What do you think about “Aurora HDR”?
You can make a good HDR with one image. For me it is great. 🤩
I haven't used it myself.
youre on the youtube canada playlist
Cool? What does that mean?

Can you use ND filters to achieve motion blur for video and for photos during the same flight?
You can use ND's to extend your shutter speed and not overexpose absolutely. Not sure what you mean by motion blur in video tho

Check the panorama settings
