no silly sarcastic humour and sound effects coupled with wacky transitions just straight to point, very clear and easy to understand info, great video thank you
This is a GREAT and truly VALUABLE lesson in this short video. I'm a new real estate drone photographer and videographer, and these tips are absolutely great!
Stan, I really appreciate your time and effort in putting this video and these important tips together.. I'm glad you focus a lot on composition and taking photos.. not just video. I'm getting a Fimi Mini 3 tonight in the mail and do hope it can create similar photos.. I need to watch this video again in hopes that more of it sings in Thanks jims
This vid is so good Mate! I am soo inspired right now to take my drone out! Especially this tip with panos, come on! How many times I was angry because I couldn't fit something in my frame! Why didn't I think about that!?🤣🤣 Cheers Buddy!
I love CPL, but you have to adjust the angle all the time, since the drone is free in the air. May be DJI can consider its adjustable by its own controller.
How do you adjust your CPL filter? I have heard many people setting the CPL marker to 12 O'clock but others saying that they set it 90 degrees away from the sun.
Do you have a video on the best settings for places like the Philippines that has bright sunlight, very blue water and white sand? Is there specific ND stop to use or frame rate?
Hey Jason, I'm afraid there is no 1 answer to this question. But yes you will be needing a variaty of ND filters depend on how bright the sunlight is etc. And ideally ones that have polarization as well to reduce reflections on the water. When shooting video in "normal speed" so 24fps frame rate your shutter will always be 1/50. When shooting slomo at ex. 60fps it will be 1/120. And you'd then adjust your exposure with the ND's
So to get that cinematic look you simply need the correct ND filter for the light situation and shoot in 24fps..there's no special technique I'm missing?
I never add color grading and i edit to a minimum. I put everything into capturing the best quality posible. I have a fairly large following of people who prefer unedited, even with noticeable flaws.
Most of what you say make sense. But don't forget that there are all kinds of people. Many of us dont like too much of an artificial touch to anything in our lines. Give the natural photo, make me feel as if I'm actually outdoors, breathing in nature. Leave the haze ,leave it as natural as possible. Be a professional, take out a good photo and there'll be little need for editing.
Can you gove me any tips i could improve on myost recent drone clip please? I know i need improvement but would love your expertise. Thank you. Here a link ruclips.net/video/jlvA5tnIkHc/видео.htmlsi=ityG7Dovs6kab-qr

thank you for sharing us ❤
My pleasure 🙌
I stopped using grid lines because I want to see power lines without distraction. But use polarizer especially on cars or the coast.
Thanks a lot for this super informative video 👍🏻
