I was just thinking how much Conrad loves and looks up to you and he said it 🥲 I remember being that age and wanting to always hang out with my dad too 🙂
Not made to cut seat belts. Hold the knife with your right hand and paracord in you left hand tightly and then push the right hand outwardly, it works, it cuts para cord very easily.
I figured it was for wire stripping or fishing wire or something else. But, it was good to know that it's NOT for seatbelts. I ended up giving that knife away to my buddy I went Kayaking with! He liked it! : )
Conrad is so cute. And yes! I know the struggle of opening a knife with a knife. 😂 you guys got better knives down south at your Wal-Mart compared to us in Illinois by Chicago. That's for sure!
1:10 Brother Breaker, please practice better knife safety. You do not cut towards your femoral arteries... Also check out Spyderco, Cold Steel, and if you like fixed blades Esee. They even make a 440C and S35VN stainless version of their fixed blades which would be great for your Florida environment. The other fixed blades I could recommend are Becker BK but it's carbon steel so maybe not for you. Go check out Nutnfancy's older reviews with high view #'s for some ideas.
Love you like a brother Robert. I'd like to keep ya around a little longer before you fly away... so quit cutting towards yourself. We're all guilty of this sooner or later. Doesn't make it acceptable though. At least you weren't cutting towards yourself with an axe or machete. Yep I've done that and got the 30 year old and 20 year old scars still to prove it 🤣 Gotta remind myself with a knick every now and then
It's because it's more like a chisel grind than a razor's flat grind. It will never be very sharp unless somebody spends time with a file reshaping that bevel
TOTALLY UN impressed with sog!! Get a Mora. Shaving sharp rite outa the box. Under $20 bux. Better sheath, too. BTW, you keep cutting toward your (ahem) and Conrad wont have any more brothers or sisters... Jerry
@@Minuteman_Expeditions-wo2cp True. The Scandi grind on the Mora is like a double sided chisel and is better for working wood. Will still filet a fish, too. The hollow grind on the sog is better for slicing food, but is too thick on the top to be ideal for that. Mora is still the best bargain for the buck for a woods knife, tho. Good steel, too. Jerry
My first look at your knife review 😊 amazing job

My complements to you for including your son in your projects...he obviously is crazy about his dad, so good for you!

Good to know! Thanks!
On Amazon it says it’s for cutting cord or fishing line without exposing the sharp knife blade. Conrad is a great co-host, we want to see more of him.
And, I used it to cut the cord I had, and it sure didn't work!
Brother Breaker, what that is on your knife sheath is called a gut hook. It's made for stripping wire. Not seatbelts. Thanks for the video. God bless!
yes its for sure not for seatbelts. lol

You need to move to Florida, that's all!
Many stiches were given when opening a plastic package while using a knife to open it.
Cool now I found your channel.
Those packages need a warning on them that they cause serious injury when cutting open. Lol.
Sharp...dressed...man.

I was thinking the same thing... how fast can I get to Robert's house after he starts bleeding out...

Kinda sad a factory edge would be so dull! Sorta unfinished?

Your Vids Are cool and hope to produce content same like yours
Hope you do. Please share the link when you do.
A seat belt is always cut at an angle not straight it wont work that way
Strange enough I just bought this SOG . My blade was very unfinished at the bevel. Disappointing that SOG is producing something this poor.

Mora definitely has a flatter bevel for a sharper edge. Two different knives made for two different purposes
