Hello There, If You are Interested in learning how to develop characters, I recently released a new course on "Character Creation For Beginners" check it out here! 💎 bit.ly/CharacterCreationCourse 💎
0:53 I definitely needed to hear that, I struggle alot because I want perfection all the time, it’s definitely something ai shouldn’t try so hard for, for now I should be wanting a setup that simply works well for the content I wish to make. Thank you! This video was very informative and was just great to listen to!
So happy to Help Mal! The good thing is you are always makin moves and taking strides with your work so I know you will get it done. Lots of people obsess with perfection and can't even start. You are well beyond that! You got this and thanks for listening
Another great vid, Sya! I actually have a couple of these that I actually do and need to fix! I've made my first edited video ever and it's definitely not the best, but I'm totally excited to try because I got this interesting idea that kinda sticks out in one of the niches I'm looking to get into, so you can say I'm motivated lol. I'm trying to figure out how to bring more value to my gaming content, but I'm still tryna figure it out. I honestly started doing content creation because my friends kept telling me that I should when I would stream my playthroughs for games. Apparently, my commentary is "good". 😅
Always appreciate the words of wisdom. I do hear often about taking too much time to be perfect that people just delay posting videos/streams. We get too hung up on the fancy equipment and tools that we sometimes forget to actually create. Still need to do a few more touches for my character and visuals, but I’m almost done. Thanks again, Sy!
Very handy dandy guide. The last one is super true, its just a matter of finding the right platforms that you can really vibe with. Right now all I have going for me is Twitter and RUclips xD
Have a few back up games to play. I streamed for the first time with a friend, and both the games we were going to play did not work for him for some reason!
Don't mind me, just doing a personal checklist while watching to see which things i do or don't already do. Tip 1: Don’t over prepare, use what you have.❌️ I kinda did over prepare since I started after saving up to get a new PC. Though I use my tablet to interact with chat as I lack a second monitor. I did start with a Vtuber model I’m not 100 percent happy with to start and can change later too. Tip 2: Don’t buy tons of equipment ❌️ Eh, kinda guilty of this as I went looking for a mic and webcam and bought the top ones I could afford because they were half off at the time. Tip 3: Provide Value with links❌️ I don’t really do the whole “I’ll be going live soon” posting, mostly I’ll just post my next week’s schedule on Sunday, so then potential viewers know ahead of time when I’ll be live, then leave the link there. Though I can probably do better than that. Tip 4: Use all platforms, not just one✅️ Aside from what I use in producing content, I also have a Tumblr to generally be a dork on, Twitter to advertise and even a Reddit account though I’ve yet to do anything with that one. Tip 5: Don’t compare, be inspired. ✅️ I get inspiration from other Vtubers a bit, which is what actually made me want to go from a 3d Vtuber model to a live 2D one as I just prefer the style of those after looking into it Tip 6: Be consistent in posting ✅️ I am fairly consistent have 2 long streams a week on Monday and Friday on the same time each week, with exceptions made for circumstances out of my control stopping me. Then I’ll usually upload them to RUclips a day or two later. Tip 7: Connect with community ✅️ I deliberately have my Friday streams for that, having them to chill and chat with viewers while I play the game in the background. Tip: 8 Research before recording.✅️ Still in a research phase, experimenting to see which games I play do better than others and stuff. Tip 9: Diversify platforms✅️ Doing my best to do that! :D Tip 10: Create content, not just live stream.✅️ Already do. I use RUclips as an archive for stream vods and Tiktok for little highlights and moments I feel stood out in the stream.
