I personally use Photoshop, but I wouldn’t recommend it at for beginners as it’s paid. There is a free alternative called Krita that I learned on which is very similar to Photoshop ^^

I am currently in a bunch of MAPs atm ^^ I do have a Discord, to set up an account it is pretty easy but if you're thinking of setting up a server there are plenty of tutorials out there to help get you started ^^ I've been in the throws of making a server template for people to set up their own MAP servers easily but it might take some time to get it to a state to release atm ^^
