get a skilled handler of guns to help you every step. Just 1 blast of a handgun to a foot or leg or hand can bleed you to death before you are hospitalized. A gun is a DEADLY weapon, see?
@@kingalex1425 Nothing wrong with it? Meh. Normal? Absolutely not. A person who stutters will never be on the same playing field compared to their non-stuttering counterparts. It is just flat out weird to be a near fully developed adult, yet lack the ability to correctly execute basic speech - something most toddlers have already mastered. Normal, fluid communication is a rudimentary, fundamental aspect of human interaction. It’s one of the most important factors in which make up our species. If you lack the simple ability to muster at least a sentence or two out of your mouth without stuttering, you are classified as “defective,” by default, despite what your family has led you to believe. Life becomes significantly hindered. I mean, in all honesty, a majority of folks would rather buy a car from a 3 year old who can adequately communicate and inform them that vegetables suck, rather than listen to some sorry ass 21 year old train wreck’s attempt at convincing the audience that the sky is “b-b-b-be-beee-belll-bl-bllll-blueee…” for the 70th time. Please, don’t stutter. It’s an embarrassment not only to yourself, but more importantly, it is an embarrassment to the normal, intelligent individuals, who thrive in the human experience. Thank you.
There's an additional reason why people might need to know these things. A non-shooter might have to unload a firearm too. About a year ago a friend showed me a WW1 Ruby pistol he had inherited. He told me it was empty because the magazine was out. Having watched RUclips videos, I knew there might be a round in the chamber, so I took it from him carefully, racked a slide for the first time in my life, and indeed there was a cartridge inside.
For first timers, it is CRITICAL you follow the proper order when unloading. Drop the magazine FIRST, then rack the slide to clear chamber. Also, always rack it at least twice just to be safe. To be clear, the reverse order could be the difference between life and death. Translation: IF there is a bullet in the magazine, if you rack the slide first, you will be putting that bullet from the magazine into the chamber. At that point, dropping the magazine is meaningless because that gun will now have a bullet in the chamber.
This may be a stupid question, but why not just shoot all the rounds you’ve got in the mag, to ensure that there are no cartridges in the chamber when unloading? Is it just to be extra cautious? Thanks.
@@Iknowthelaw13 No question is a stupid question, but if you're going to have a gun, learn how to operate it. Just off the top, if you're at home with your gun do you think you really want to fire it x number of times somewhere just to unload it each time? I'd recommend a gun safety course.

Great beginners how to video, the only thing I would add is that when unloading the weapon especially if this is a video for beginners, emphasize how crucial that first step is as well, if you do not drop the magazine pulling back the slide will eject the round that's in the chamber but will just load another one from the magazine and the gun will not be actually empty
Thank you. By emphasizing emptying the chamber, YOU saved someone's life with the knowledge that you shared here!! I took a private lesson with an instructor, but it was loud inside the range, so it was hard to hear everything the instructor said. Your video is awesome.

There is a warning notice on the side of the EZ: Caution: Gun can fire without a magazine. Also note that the EZ has a loaded chamber indicator on the top of the gun.
I especially like the very end where you explained how after it's been on your persons and you want to clear your weapon the steps it takes to do so 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾
Thank you for the excellent details on how to load and unload this S&W 9 Shield. This gun is new to me and these are good steps to safely load and unload this firearm a great gun I might ad!.
Nice job. My only other recommendation is that, if the weapon allows you to rack the slide with the safety engaged, that you engage the safety first, before removing the magazine or racking the slide. Less experienced shooters attempting to rack the slide sometimes forget what the other hand is doing, and slip a finger into the trigger guard.
Stress the importance of dropping the magazine and then racking the slide back. It has to be done in that order. If you rack the slide and then drop the magazine, all you wind up doing is ejecting a live round and loading a new live round in the chamber. So, the order is EXTREMELY important.
While racking the slide I would definitely recommend pulling from the back end to avoid having any pingers or palms in front of the barrel for extra caution. Great video though for any new carriers!
