    Still amazed no one called out the fact Kalvaxis has 7 teenage girls chained up back at his lair whenever he tried to say this stuff.

      As a libertarian, he's all about personal freedoms. Like the freedom to kidnap and chain up teenage girls if he wants. It's their right to try and escape, and if they can't, then 🤷‍♂️ . But no laws or governments should bar this from happening, that's manipulation and extortion! 😂
      (To be clear: I'm making fun of libertarians using the same ideologies I've heard libertarians tell me in earnest.)

      I mean in fairness he didn’t write the prophecy demanding their presence you can blame the former elven oracle for that one

    • @CountryMusicMann
      @CountryMusicMann 3 месяца назад

      @@michaelbootes4822 Here's a question about the prophecy: chicken and egg. Was the chaining up maidens necessary and that's why the oracle said it, or did the oracle saying that make it necessary?
      If the oracle had seen that future but hadn't prophesied it, would the chaining up maidens no longer be a necessary condition?

    Let's see, Libertarianism promotes: being self centered (at least from what it takes from Ayn Rand), that capitalism is the perfect system of government, and that personal possessions and wealth is the measure of one's success and worth as an individual. You know, in that context Libertarianism is actually the perfect political philosophy for a dragon

    I mean, that's not libertarian, technically... A libertarian would never take something or destroy something without consent from the owner.

    • @enider
      @enider 2 года назад

      You should be surprised, there are libertarians who argue for everything from lowering age of consent laws to thinking people should be able to voluntarily enter slavery.

      Instead they would buy that something and then destroy it, while ignoring how the destruction of that something is polluting the water source for a town downstream. And when that town tells him to stop polluting their water, the libertarian would say "I can do whatever I wish with what I own. If you don't like that you can move".

    • @MikaelJSandersson
      @MikaelJSandersson 2 года назад +1

      @@RigelOrionBeta There are many variants of opinions and solutions for that in the libertarian philosophy. I'm by no means an expert but just as you're not allowed to shoot someone with your gun just because you own the gun you're not allowed to poison someone else's water or air. Most libertarians I've discussed the matter with seems to think that suing the polluter would be a reasonable libertarian solution.
