Kai helped me jump and get the Leica M, after the M240 video. I love it, I litterally take it with me everywhere - I spent 7 years saving for one, and Kai's M videos kept me going through the years. When the M was released, I got it, now the M10 released, I dont get the "I want the new tech" feeling that I get with Canon or my computers or phone. BUT INSTEAD, I get the "My Leica is MY Leica" feeling. I have to say, owning a Leica after 7 years of saving on a burger flipper/university student/graduate teacher wage makes the journey worth it. Thanks for the M-ories with the Leica M vids over the years.
Legit. I respect any good photographer but the Leica crowd always seemed like the worst type of hipsters. Buying leica just because i can and im cool. I wouldnt be surprised 80% of these people at the conference take shots of their cats and dogs at home only. Maybe a close up of a flower in their balcony garden :D
You obviously never used Leica and just speculating. Leica users don't buy Leica to shoot their cats!! They prefer their smartphones for that. Please, if you never shoot Leica just keep it to yourself and continue using whatever brands you have. I shoot with Fuji and have used Leica before. People said Fuji is value for money and have more features. I was like "Who cares". People always want more features but usually end up just using centre point AF on their camera! It amazes me some people always saying bad things about something that they never use.
This makes me really really want the M10. Also, the transition at 7:50 was excellent. I'm not normally a cinematically minded person but that really stood out. Keep up the great work!
Well, it's, like Kai says (a lot), pretty much the size of a M7, but the dials are of course different. Personally I generally liked working with my M8 and M9, but always wanted to have the grip baseplate on. I find the ISO dial of the M10 gimmicky. My biggest gripe with Leica is that it's priced to keep the myth alive. While the glass is excellent and still preferred by me over modern AF glass, the bodies are not - and yet you have to pay outrageous premiums for your glass holder. So, my advice is: buy Leica glass and put it on modern, reasonably priced bodies ;)
BTW, I have published my short report as well (with photos of Kai) ;) But it's in German: retrocameracs.wordpress.com/2017/01/19/ein-abend-wesentliches/
Really enjoyed this. The prankster Kai is always going to be lots of fun, but the enthusiastic Kai is really quite inspiring. Well done, for me this was your best video since the Fujifilm X100T review back in your old life.
I'm jealous, not of the Leica M10 but of your moment with Joel Meyerowitz. His zen-like voice and his sage advices are priceless from what I've seen in interviews and documentaries. 👍🏽
I think it's that guy with his back to Kai and pointing his thumb back at him that kind of makes them look like they were laughing AT him. Honestly, they might have just recognised him but I think they were just being assholes.
Keep at it Kai, you are at the top of your game with these awesome new videos. Very funny yet respectful Leica M10 take. We all know it's pricing and aura is ridiculous but it is good to have at least one camera out there that is the Rolls Royce of imaging; even when we will never buy it.
I enjoyed your video and what a good looking camera it is. If I was well off I would buy an M10 but as I am a poor old Pensioner I will stick to my Nikon D5300 which I find very good.
Leica was at the cliff of bankruptcy before 2010 but was saved by web reviewers and youtubers like Kai Wong. That thing Leica and its partner Panasonic know it well and support it. Leica M series lenses are the only very sharp and small full frame lenses. And the Leica M10 is a full frame digital camera with nearly the same size of the Sony a7 full frame series mirrorless cameras. However nearly all the Sony e-mount full frame lenses for the a7 series are equally big as the dSLR full frame lenses. That gives a huge advantage to Leica M series. The Leica M10 with its lenses is a true small full frame camera. Perfect for daily use, perfect for travels. The manual focus is an issue with all Leica M series lenses. Nevertheless the new Leica M10 has liveview mode and focus peaking which are typical functions of mirrorless cameras. So manual focus is even easier. I don't know if it has focus zoom too. The high price of Leica isn't an issue. The depreciation of Leica lens is minimal.
The "high price of Leica isn't an issue", did you say? Who are you trying to convince? What a preposterous statement. If Leica prices were not an issue, you would see them all over the place. It's an overprice P.O.S. that doesn't come close to the performance of a Sony, Canon or a Nikon.
Weston Bernard I don't have a Leica M series camera. What I know from reviews is that the lenses for the Leica M mount have great characteristics, quality and high price. Also again from reviews the Leica M series camera body is made from solid brass and its digital image sensor is of great quality. If you known a negative review from a Leica M series owner or a professional reviewer, please inform me. I point only the Leica M series camera body made in Germany and Leica M mount camera lenses made in Germany. Most of the other Leica camera models and lenses are made with Panasonic collaboration for lower prize and inevitable lower quality. The issue with Leica M series is something similar with Apple computers and iPhone. I was mocking Apple iPhone and Apple computers until I used both. What is true and a fact for many many years is that a Leica M series camera has very low value depreciation. The top camera of Canon SONY Nikon camera bodies are losing half the price after three to five years. Leica M series cameras don't. The reason may be their high quality or stupid and ignorant buyers who spent 5,000 - 10,000 dollars for an old and inferior camera.
Are Mercedes and BMW prices an "issue"? If you want it and can afford it, great. If you don't want it, can't afford it or don't want to spend that much, thats fine too. While your at it, how about telling all of us who like designer clothes, or mechanical watches that we should buy a digital Timex or wear rack suits from Walmart? For me, Leica is a great camera that I really enjoy using. I also have a Canon 5D3, but I greatly prefer using my Leica M-D or M Monochrom.
Andrew F Japanese dominate the camera market. The Leica M is an exception due to its style, heritage and quality. (Hasselblad was too, but it is sold to the Chinese DJi drone maker) It's not a working horse like Canon 5D mark III or Nikon D810. What I like and appreciate most about Leica is that is a investment. Something very rare in technological products.
@BingBong Boopledoop ...weird...when I go out shooting, the Leica is in the bag and only gets out to be used... usually in remote places and at very early hours... jewllery? show off? I really don't understand...!!! Perhaps it's just envy...!
Everyone also seems to drop their iPhones and break them. Meanwhile, I've never dropped my M6. It's always been a mystery to me, why are iPhone owners so clumsy and uncoordinated?
My word, Joel Meyerowitz at 12:06, you got to meet my hero! I shoot my X-Pro2, which I adore, but I'd be lying if I said that the Leica M10 didn't look special. To cheer yourself up if, like myself, you can't afford a Leica, go and buy Joel Meyerowitz's Retrospective, Cape Light or A Summer's Day. Thanks for the video, Kai! :)
I think the computer industry is much more faceted than the camera business. Apple was pushing the idea of a personal computer to the public when no one knew what it could be used for. Then the veered towards embracing hardware design, intuitive software and a lifestyle. I don't think they were attempting to be as esoteric and exclusive as you might describe Leica. Apple has "back to school deals" while the average Leica reaches almost 10k. But i get the parallel you are trying to draw.
FunkyMilk yes you are right. Good point. As you said I meant it more in a way the people who used Leica are thinking and behaving. Kind of a distinctive group which feeds all Klischees you might have about old years apple fanboys. Says someone who loves his iPhone and iPad for years and years ;)
Leica has always been that mystique camera. From film days, anyone from advanced amateur to professional shot or lusted after a Leica. The main selling feature was the craftsmanship. Leica glass was beautiful, and the price reflected this. Today, with only a few companies producing camera sensors, the packaging, i.e. the body becomes less relevant. With a US street price of $6500, they'll sell, but in limited numbers, as mirror-less cameras are filling the role that the Leica M series camera once dominated. You can purchase adapter mounts to use just about any lens on a mirror-less/range finder camera. Now that Hasselblad supposedly has new ownership by DJI, the old stalwart camera companies are dropping from the scene. Hopefully Leica isn't on that path.
I am a Leica M240 owner and after years of using the camera I would say that they are indeed great cameras, provided you are willing to live with the limitations that the vintage concept will impose on you. Does the M line have the image stabilization that is becoming so common today? Nope. Has the flash system been creatively implemented as per today's standards? Nope. Can you just plug in the range of Leica M lenses and use them with ease? Nope (you need a bloody expensive add-on to use wide-angle lenses if you don't want to constantly use the Live View). If Leica service fast and reliable? Nope. I could go on for a while, but all things said, when it works correctly and you assume the mantle of a roaming Leica photographer or photojournalist, then the camera is sheer pleasure to use. Again, provided you don't have to rely on all the missing capabilities. It's a personal choice based on the kind of photographer you are, or want to be.
I would say Fuji. Their sensor and color balance is pretty good and the 50S large sensor is worth the money. That being said I would not mind having a M10; my M9 was -- and stil is -- just a pleasure to play with
sixyears hell yes, good to see I found someone thinking the same as me. Get the Fujifilm, miles better than the Leica. Though I was only looking at the X T10 or the X70, okay more research.
sixyears If this a serious question, I seriously encourage you to get the GFX. For your money, you will get the SECOND best sensor in the world, (first one being the full 645 medium format 100 megapixel CMOS sensor, and if you want to get a camera with that one, prepare yourself around 30 thousand dollars), a reasonably fast autofocus performance (the m10 has NO autofocus), a very compact body compared to most medium format cameras, and Fuji film simulations, which are great. You essentially don't have to do any postproduction with most of the photos. With the Leica M, you will get a mediocre full frame sensor (24x36 mm, compared to the 33x44 mm which are the dimensions of the FUJI GFX sensor), no autofocus, no video. Now of course the GFX is bigger, but if you want a camera the size of the Leica m10 get a sony A7rii for half the money. Both the GFX and the Sony beat the M10 in both image quality and usability. And don't listen to people who claim that Leica products have some special ''magic'', or that only Leica lenses have a particular look superior to all other lenses. That's just bullshit. Those people have been brainwashed by the Leica marketing department.
no nigga apple is rich and got whole lotta employees and their customer service is better ... expensive ? not really apple is still an consumer product company leica is a lifestyle company with 2000 employess at the max
Hey Kai - I hope you can find the money somewhere. Me, I have to restrain from byuing it (it is really tempting, though; I had it in my hands yesterday, and you are right: The Best M so far!). And nice to see that you are still in business, great fun to watch your "performance" … :-)
jobanski A lot indeed. Manufactured by people who are paid decent salaries and work under fair conditions is just one aspect. Have you ever shot with a Leica? It feels great and touches your soul. Sounds exaggerated and pretencious, but it's true.
lol. these people saying that a Leica camera has soul to it are delusional. a camera is just a tool. i've seen photographers taken even better instagram photos using an iPhone than these so called Leica pros.
It's cool that you got to meet the artist himself. Many people will not take opportunity to do so. As for the M10, Leica seems to have finally picked up where the M9 left off. They will not admit to the M240 as a mistake.
I feel ya, Kai. I WANT ONE, TOO! I have an M2 and always wanted a digital one but found them a bit too big. And the M240 never really appealed to me. But now the M10 is out... I shall be looking out for a very well paid job then.
Very good video. I know how you felt leaving the M10 behind. I happen to be in Wetzlar every couple of weeks and cannot resist to visit shop. Afterwards I always think "How do I get the money for this". I guess your video will upset the trolls and I guess a lot of people will comment things like "To expensive", "Sony is better", "Camera brand B is better"...while never tested this cameras. Hope you get the money together and would love to see a in depth review of the M10 😉
This is actually a good looking digital Leica. The M9 and M240 were huge bricks. Nice that Leica is actually making their M the same size of their old film cameras.
To go through the comments is a pain in the ass. Either most guys here don´t understand the business model, or they don´t understand the pricing, or they get totally upset about the people on this event, or start telling nonsense about Germans. Probably they never held a Leica in their hands or took it outside for some shots. Its a pleasure to work with these cams. Its like a combination of the good ol´days of photography, the new technology and German quality engineering. They way it behaves, sounds, feels... next to the proper and solid way Germans build their stuff ensuring you can literally feel the Cams value, its giving you a lot of emotions. this is the unique selling point, but of course not that you have something many other people can´t afford. I could agree on the status symbol argument but a proper Canon with a good lens and stuff can rise onto the same height of price level of a Leica quickly. Using the one or the other brand is more a statement or personal preference and nothing more i suppose. Of course buying a Leica or not depends on the purpose or the intended application of your gear. I cant remember that I have ever seen many people using Leicas at press conferences or at the soccer field. PS. this is my opinion and I don´t intend to discuss it. But comments are welcome. PPS. I don´t own a Leica. I´m alright with my Canon gear... was expensive enough and is the exact right thing for what I´m using it for. :)
People really really love those cameras. My question is: does all that extra money actually add up to a better image? I understand people love using leicas, and fair enough if you love it and can afford it, but wouldn't you get better results with a boring old Nikon dslr?
Probably not. But you won't get a better picture with that DSLR compared to an old 4x5 film camera either. Photographic gear is not just about the picture. It's about the shooting experience, wich is just much better with a Leica, for some people at least.
Some great photos were taken with Leica's. But these were done by skilled people. They had what's called "the eye". They could have made them with any camera. The main thing is that they were comfortable with the equipment.
I have no interest in Leica but I really liked your video. I think leaving digitalrev worked out for the best I much prefer your style here. Keep it up and all the best!
Thanks for sharing the video Kai. I've been too cheap to shell out the money for a digital M, so I shoot with Fuji for digital and M6 for 35mm. This looks like a possible purchase for me to buy used when the M11 comes out :) I love that it's a smaller form factor closer to that of an M7.
Nice one Kai. Compared to the Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus type gear, Leica is one of those classic but odd brands, a bit like reviewing a car like an Aston, Ferrari and so on compared to the average motor we can afford to buy and run. You go 'nice' but as it functionally doesn't deliver anything better day to day , you don't bother let alone worry about financing one.
It's a camera, you either buy it or you don't. Why do so many of you become so angry and abusive? Years ago I would have swapped my Olympus OM2 for a Leica SLR but I could not afford to do so: but I did not begrudge those who could afford one. Once I changed to Canon autofocus - especially the Canon EOS 5, I felt Leica were off the pace. With respect to the M10, I don't understand why anyone would want to buy a rangefinder camera.
About 30 years ago I talked to a photo journalist who used Leica SLRs for awhile. He said that they were always breaking down. So he went back to his previous brand which was Nikon.
Love your shameless attitude towards Leica Kai! À chacun son goût. When you spend five years with the bells and whistles of modern digital cameras only to notice you had accidentally pressed the wrong button when it's time to shoot must say it's a joy to use a Leica when you hit the streets. Only Das Wesentliche. The Q has served me well so far. Hope to get the new M10 for a test from the Leica Finland rep soon.
Lots of white noise in the video. I wish you would of eqed it out or use denoise plugin for the sound, but then again that would be lots of work with izotope rx.
akimlaszek no, it is not. In fact an xpro2 anihalates this in every way possible. Only deluded cock smokers with more money than sense think otherwise.
+Uncaged haha, you are silly. An X-Pro2 is not a proper Leica Substitute. It's not even close. But you will never know. You are too busy prejudging. Spec sheets won't tell you how good a camera really is. But it keeps the consumer happy right?
Would it make sense to buy a digital camera like a Leica or a Fuji as a first camera over a (Nikon or Canon) DSLR? They seem perfect for taking great photos especially while travelling.
Kai is the best of one. He is unique - imitated but never duplicated, an international treasure. Well done and thanks so much for the work you do!!!
Kai is and was DigitalRevTV, I hope this guy makes a million this year.
Maybe 500k :)
I'm so glad Kai and Lok have remained friends and still make videos together.
@@brien1254 Even in 2021, and its great to see them.

That's what I'd call successful marketing.
So, is leica still a camera manufactura or is this a golfclub now.
Levin Be LOL 😂

"Processor of the Leica SL, Maestro 2, so it's better".
Perfectly sums up this camera.
P.S. I loled @ the Eric Kim joke.
Processor is the same, sensor is not.
Yeah, sensor wise they are catching up to mid range mirrorless cameras ;)
Jason Levine I think it's ugly tbh

Kai, this was awesome. All my heroes in one spot. Thanks.
Hipster central... the amount of turtleneck sweaters in that room almost hit critical mass. :D
sophistication and style so americans/australians don't fit in - check
I would give you sophistication but style? Turtlenecks went out of style in 1995.
Archer wears turtlenecks
@BingBong Boopledoop LOL, you nailed it
Toddy Surcharge Lol maybe you should go outside more. Seems like you’ve been out of touch since ‘95
Kai, always makes me laugh. What a great sense of humor and timing.
Love the humor man "sadly there comes a time when you have to give it back" prompting the salesman to say something to get you to buy it lmao
This is like watching Drtv again.. I like these videos really much!
The Salesmen don't actually seem to have much knowledge about the cameras outside of 'It's smaller, higher ISO, Better Sensor Ja'.
It is a beautiful camera worth the money. A very special camera for those who are passionate about their work
The guy at 11:03 with the Xpan beats all the Leica users.
You can always trust Kai and Lok to have the best commentary to the review video :D
Now that is entertainment at its finest. Great video.
for that money I can buy a 5D, a cheap second hand Asian car and still enough money left for gas to tour the whole of Europe.
That's actually a fairly good point.
TheSpector Do it! Or buy yourself a decent profile picture! :-)
The camera is not really for you..
5D? That piece of shit costs about
Benny Löfgren finally someone who noticed👍😜
Great meeting you Kai at the M10 launch..! much laughter was had :-)
Everyone has a Leica.
Everyone paid thousands for it.
Everyone records video on iPhone.
J C Lovera yup a Leica is as much pretty useless.
Well to be fair a lot of their cameras are prolly analog, shooting enough pics for a video would be more expensive than the iphone
iphone wins
My favorite You Tuber, Kai and fave photographer Joel Meyerowitz. Nice :)
Leica seems to be the Apple of photography
I love the vaporwave sounds... this is so much more chic and exciting than the digitalrev videos
That moment when you watch this in 2020, see him kiss the camera and feel the rush of anxiety kick in.
My word, Joel Meyerowitz at 12:06, you got to meet my hero! I shoot my X-Pro2, which I adore, but I'd be lying if I said that the Leica M10 didn't look special. That is one huge "security cable". Is it made of titanium?
Good to see you working on some videos! Keep up the good work Kai!
So Leica is what Apple was some year ago?!
more accutately, Apple tried to emulate Leica in its quest for preeminent products at premium prices (for consumers and professionals alike).
Gunga Dinn very true and I was one of them. I got a Russian Zorki instead cheaper by a long shot.
Nice! Good to see you in action, continuing on, Kai!

Again, provided you don't have to rely on all the missing capabilities. It's a personal choice based on the kind of photographer you are, or want to be.
“It’s a personal choice based on the type of photographer you are, or want to be.” Well said.
Oh and I love that Matt thought you were Eric, ha. I will be seeing Matt in a couple of weeks. I'll ride him for it!!
Leicalicious😍
Rita Law hi pretty Rita!
Rita Law Beautiful girl
Ritalicious😍
kai has flawless music selection for his vids!
Love the way you do this. This whole thing should be taken too seriously. Cameras are just tools... ;-)
It is a great addition to the Leica range, had a play with one today at work 😁😁
How many leicas for this video ?
Glad to see you're back to making videos; always liked your approach
12:04 O. M. G !!!!!!!
Old Cameras who is that ??
It's voldermort! jk
Joel Meyerowitz. Bit of a legend.
You may not utter than name.
Jono _ oppa lol
best new vid yet. and Joel.. legend.
Cube chairs. I expect nothing less.
Another great upload, K Meister. Glad to see going solo has gone so well for you and hope the future is great.
lol Should i buy this or a Fujifilm GFX 50S :P
I would say Fuji. Their sensor and color balance is pretty good and the 50S large sensor is worth the money. That being said I would not mind having a M10; my M9 was -- and stil is -- just a pleasure to play with
sixyears hell yes, good to see I found someone thinking the same as me. Get the Fujifilm, miles better than the Leica. Though I was only looking at the X T10 or the X70, okay more research.
If you have to ask you clearly have no idea what you actually need.
sixyears If this a serious question, I seriously encourage you to get the GFX. Those people have been brainwashed by the Leica marketing department.
sixyears depend on what u want to do
it'd be wonderful to hear more from Matt, he is a great photographer.
Leica is the Apple of cameras
no nigga apple is rich and got whole lotta employees and their customer service is better ... expensive ? not really apple is still an consumer product company leica is a lifestyle company with 2000 employess at the max
Hey Kai - I hope you can find the money somewhere. Me, I have to restrain from byuing it (it is really tempting, though; I had it in my hands yesterday, and you are right: The Best M so far!). And nice to see that you are still in business, great fun to watch your "performance" … :-)
I'm confused. Every pro photographer always says to invest in good glass. What makes Leica so great?
jobanski nothing. deluded rich people imagining a Leica makes them sophisticated.
jobanski A lot indeed. Manufactured by people who are paid decent salaries and work under fair conditions is just one aspect. Have you ever shot with a Leica? It feels great and touches your soul. Sounds exaggerated and pretencious, but it's true.
lol. these people saying that a Leica camera has soul to it are delusional. a camera is just a tool. i've seen photographers taken even better instagram photos using an iPhone than these so called Leica pros.
leica has some of the best glasses ever built for the sizes so small and compact
It's cool that you got to meet the artist himself. Many people will not take opportunity to do so. As for the M10, Leica seems to have finally picked up where the M9 left off. They will not admit to the M240 as a mistake.
I'll say this for leica: I'm glad at least SOMEONE is robbing the rich.
We've got Hasselblad and RED, we good fam
So excited you got Joel in the video!!! :D
Lok's accent trumps all this so called sweet German accent! Do you guys agree?
As a German who is trying to hide his accent as much as possible I do agree. Although I gotta admit that Lok is hard to understand sometimes.
beavertown2006 I am a German and I agree. :D
How cool that you got to meet Joel. I can't believe Matt Stuart didn't know who you were lol!
I decided I don't want a Leica anymore.
Teco01ejg same here, too many douches in that room being associated with it.
Teco01ejg X100-F is the way to go
So not put off by the photographic tool, but by the brand associations?
sophrapsune No matter which tool to pick, you still need to choose a camera from a brand anyway, unless you are going to make one. 😅
You decided not to be a hipster douche, good thing to hear :)
I feel ya, Kai. I WANT ONE, TOO! I have an M2 and always wanted a digital one but found them a bit too big. And the M240 never really appealed to me. But now the M10 is out... I shall be looking out for a very well paid job then.
I want to know how many people buy Leica camera's and actually use them. I feel like people just buy them and keep them on display in their homes.
I did't know Sugar Shane Mosley was working for Leica
This is actually a good looking digital Leica. The M9 and M240 were huge bricks. Nice that Leica is actually making their M the same size of their old film cameras.
The German English accent is so sweet. :)
ja
is it ? ;)
It's about the shooting experience, wich is just much better with a Leica, for some people at least.
nah, they just like flashing their Leica around and saying we are different from the rest. we are the elite. yet their photos look ordinary.
Some great photos were taken with Leica's. But these were done by skilled people. They had what's called "the eye". They could have made them with any camera. The main thing is that they were comfortable with the equipment.
I like how you're stepping up your vlogs. Good stuff. So much want for Leica
Voldemort is also into Leica?!
i didnt know he got a nose job
Looks like a nice camera and really cool you got to meet Matt Stuart and Joel Meyerowitz
Funny accent those germans ...
... oh I'm one of them :-o
I find the review is quite elegant. Love it!
Fuck me! I thought that was Ron Jeremy!
Chris Bailey are we talking about Nikki Sixx in his fright wig there? No Ron Jeremy has more class.
+1 Ron Jeremy @ 11.09
I have no interest in Leica but I really liked your video. I think leaving digitalrev worked out for the best I much prefer your style here. Keep it up and all the best!
Ah, all the pretentious people in one place! That has to be funny.
slaQ83 that ambience must get annoying.
my first words when Kai finally posted........... "HELL YES!"
€5000 for the red mark and €1500 for the camera. Great deal :)
Jori Diculous Correct :-)
Thanks for sharing the video Kai. I've been too cheap to shell out the money for a digital M, so I shoot with Fuji for digital and M6 for 35mm. This looks like a possible purchase for me to buy used when the M11 comes out :) I love that it's a smaller form factor closer to that of an M7.
The M10 is the price of a GFX 50S...
Think about that for a sec....
Jesus you definitely dominate!!!! I love to hear you preach! Vast knowledge, vast knowledge indeed!!!!!
Is it just me, or do the Fuji cameras look 200℅ better?
With respect to the M10, I don't understand why anyone would want to buy a rangefinder camera.
hobby nigga, only hobby photographers have the M line atleast... others are just meh ...
About 30 years ago I talked to a photo journalist who used Leica SLRs for awhile. He said that they were always breaking down. So he went back to his previous brand which was Nikon.
Excellent video as always!
I expected nothing else from ze Germans
Need more! Great stuff as always.
Who the actual fuck would pay 6,500 euros for that piece of shit XD
LOL okay I don't think ALL of them are like that but yeah those people are really quite annoying.
lol
Remove a zero and it sound reasonable :/
A person for whom 6500 euro isn't a lot of money.
some ppl buy a 30.000 $ watch a 7500 $ wine bottle in restaurant or 15000$ a night for a suite in hotel. 6500$ for a leica is nothing
Great vlog!!!! Love that you're doing your own channel now.
Can't afford it, I'm Leica broke
hehe, good one
Love your shameless attitude towards Leica Kai! À chacun son goût. When you spend five years with the bells and whistles of modern digital cameras only to notice you had accidentally pressed the wrong button when it's time to shoot must say it's a joy to use a Leica when you hit the streets. Only Das Wesentliche. The Q has served me well so far. Hope to get the new M10 for a test from the Leica Finland rep soon.
M9 was legendary M typ 240 is meh and the M10 is like hey ignore the 240 thing I'm awesome!
I would agree with you wholeheartedly, if I were on drugs or developmentally disabled. The M240 is an exquisite camera.
Lots of white noise in the video. I wish you would of eqed it out or use denoise plugin for the sound, but then again that would be lots of work with izotope rx.
That camera gives me half a chubby
great video Casey! I never knew you were a Leica fan!
Leica, for those with more money than sense
Nice new, Videos and channel, and it was also cool running into you at the airport, what a small world. keep it up :-)
so basically a 6500$ X-Pro2
Nope, X-Pro2 is inferior in every way.
akimlaszek no, it is not.
