This is Don's slot car track in Middleburg ohio. It's a 4 lane track with continious rails for smooth racing. His hole basment is setup just for racing and holding race events. The slot cars are super fast. The group meets once or twice a year for santioned races. We also have random races or test and turn nights.

Need to upgrade your eyes. :) It's fine, they also race t-jets, those are slower

~ Yeah, that’s at the main crux of my collection. Hits the nostalgic mark on my chart as well, for my first set/cars was in 1963, at the dawning of T-Jets ….. the slower pace place suits me fine 😊

What kind of catch fence and poles are you using? You can see through it perfectly. Nices looking setup i have seen!

I've seen pkexi glass walls with plastic polls and clear Vynil sheeting used for track barriers.
Those are pretty common but I have seen a bunch of other methods used.

Sorry, I get behind on my videos and sometimes forget. This is super stock, then we raced polymod. I didn't get any video of the polymod though.

Not really racing when all you have to do is hold the trigger down all the time. Those cars rarely come off the track.

You do have to release the trigger to apply the brake to stop for the turns. Look closer at the controllers see how they're moving the trigger

Should be an automatic penalty of 15 seconds power off of that slot, when a car spins out or comes out of the slot. That way drivers would have to be much more careful, or essentially forfeit races. Either that, or find some way to limit the speeds for every slot evenly. Like the wing 1/24 cars, it's more tech than racing skill.
