    I’m going back otr in a bit, been on an extended vacation lol. I miss the trucking money. Rich people do these 3 things: 1. Invest in stocks, 2. Buy real estate , 3. Start a business. Good vid. My plan is similar, but some advice, keep some of your plans private.. people will always have something to say, doubt you, etc. Grind in silence.

    Finally I’ve been telling you since the beginning, it doesn’t matter how much you make but how much you keep, these local guys making 80,90k at comfortable but still living paycheck to paycheck, only one thing I would add to this is, be careful how you invest this money don’t be tempted to start investing right away having thousands in the bank isn’t as harmful as these RUclips gurus make it sound also it’s way better in the bank than on a bad investment, also let me add real estate is not passive income as everyone makes it sound real estate renting properties doesn’t work unless you have some serious amount saved because so many things can go wrong and you have to be prepared what if the house requires an expensive repair or ac, what if you can’t find a tenant, you are responsible for those payments but your on the right path I’m 22 and been doing this living in my truck and stacking I plan on retiring at 30 on a really good position or maybe in Mexico as a multimillionaire actually I’m already a millionaire if I was to go back in Mexican so consider retiring in another country too

    Literally 15 percent of your gross income into your 401k with the target date fund will replace your income in retirement if you start at your age. You need to take care of your older years first before taking bigger risks like leveraging debt in realestate

    • @augustineramos_
      @augustineramos_  3 месяца назад

      Yeah but the problem is that 401’s are not promised or guaranteed because they’re tied to stocks, which means you can lose all that money. If you set up real estate through section 8 and have a tenant for life and partner up with a property management company you’ll have that income for life.

    • @fatkitchen17
      @fatkitchen17 3 месяца назад

      @@augustineramos_nothing is garaunteed. However broadly diversified indexes like inside the target date fund in your 401k over the long term will more than likely grow steadily over time. Sure there is volatility but housing prices can be volatile too. Not to mention maintenance expenses, tenants that trash your property, tenants late on rent or simply squat there for months for free. Section 8 is not free of these problems. Nothing is really "passive". Maybe you should strive to do both. But it would be foolish to not take advantage and at least max out your 401k(roth option) every year. It grow tax free. 7k invested this year in 30 years will grow to over 100k alone. Now imagine doing that every year. The sooner you start, the more time it has to grow and multiply in your later years.

    • @augustineramos_

      @@fatkitchen17you guys are totally missing the point of this video. If you rent out to section 8 tenants you usually get a tenant for life especially if they’re elderly. Not every section 8 tenant is a ghetto hood rat with hella kids trashing your spot. You can screen them. It’s one of the best ways to keep your property rented out and still have the ability to raise rents because it’s the government that’s paying for it not the tenant. What I think it is, is people are just afraid to take a chance on real estate so staying safe with only investing in 401’s is safer and easier for people until another COVID wipes out their retirement account because that’s the only investment they have. Thats not being diversified. Thats putting all your eggs in one basket (the stock market).
