Knowing the products and knowing what sells is part of the success, but I think this is a great way to show how resell happens. It s a very impressive 4 weeks with 0 cash down. Thank you for this video!
This was a great example! What you didn't add, though, is YOUR knowledge. I had never even heard of some of those shoe brands! Your knowledge is admirable!
I agree! I started my selling from my closet..huge that it is. Got tired of stuff so started selling, buying more, selling it. Now husband warns me stay out of his closet! I am on a roll.
Wow! What a motivational speech at the end!! Gives me a kick in the rear end to keep on keeping on even though there are days like today when nothing sells!! Thanks for all you do!!
What I love most about this series is that it’s all laid out. You don’t have to know a lot to start. Just start with what you know and move up from there. You shared months ago how you were starting to use FB marketplace for sales. Well, I started listing shoes from my own closets. In 2 weeks I’ve sold 6 pairs. They all sold on the same day they were posted. I was shocked! Thank you for all your ideas and your wealth of knowledge! I appreciate you! 💰 💴 💵
So, I'm in the kitchen doing dishes as I'm watching this and all I hear is, "oh no! There goes my bag! Oh no there goes my cart!" Now I'm just in the kitchen cracking up as I watch this unfold
You inspired me to start selling online. I started last week on one platform only - selling items I all ready have but haven't used in years. My total profit is a little over $100. It's so much easier than I thought to get started. I will add more platforms in order to move my inventory faster. Thanks for the inspiration!
Selling junk found on the side of the road has been working for me these past few months. I've managed to make $1400 just from other people's discarded items. Very lucrative with very minimal effort.
Seeing you make that much doing this in just 30 days and starting from $0 is amazing and makes me want to look into doing this more in the future as a full time job.
Love that you did this challenge and shared with all! My boys have watched me grow my own reselling biz but I'm going to have them watch your 30 day challenge over the summer to encourage them too. My younger son who's only 9 has a pokemon unboxing/gaming youtube channel that he began several months ago and he also buys/sells cards online. I'm so excited for them to see already how this could be an option for them entering the business world at such a young age =) Thanks again for sharing!!! Blessings, Sommer
Hi Josh…. I just started watching your videos these past few days… And I am so enjoying them. Today I watched your 30 day challenge one after another and you’ve got me pumped about possibly doing something like this as well. I love your enthusiasm and your transparency and everything that you and your wife do. Thank you so much for being the person you are and for sharing all of your knowledge with us. Happy new year
This was an awesome video series! I loved all of the different avenues you showed to sell items. It has inspired me to search all of the free boxes at garage sales this year to see how much profit I can make from nothing. Thanks for all you do to help fellow resellers. You're the Best!
I've been waiting for this one! Thank you! 😂😂😂😂 I love how real you are! Falling out of your chair (previously), chasing your bag and cart, etc. So fun to watch & inspiring, too (the reselling, anyway.. I don't need to fall or run).
Thanks for finally getting this up and out the door, Josh. I've learned a lot and I really appreciate the extra effort to "close the loop" and get this series concluded. Wow, it's really summer already ... hope yours is healthy and great. Be well.
Loved this challenge, you made it really real! I started to sell stuff I have at home, that is just cluttering our apartment and also things my neighbors throw away, it's been about a month and very little effort and I've sold for about 200 dollars after fees. I'm so happy for that and I actually enjoy selling. Our Ebay is called tradera here in Sweden, it's owned by Ebay but work differently, so most common way to sell is auction, wich can be very, very good I've learnt tonight!😁👍 thankyou for a great channel!
As always so much fun! I was excited to see your final week of this challenge, Great job Josh 👍 Loved how you put this challenge together from 0 to GO!!
Having your own cart is next level...got one a while ago and helps SO much even at the goodwills. Also very much appreciate this challenge, I have sold alot of "trash day" items and has really helped. Currently Trying to get in the Saving mode for big buys.
Was wondering when we would see the finale! Nice work Man! Shows that with a little hustle you can make some good cash from reselling. Thanks for all the great info Josh!
Loved this series , top notch . These and the goodwill pallets are the best . I start doing more or less the same , wrote everything we bought and what and for how much we sold , started week 3 yesterday , lets see how much we going to make .
My favorite time of the year to find free stuff is balk pick up week. That happens one time a year. One of the best things I found was an old electric guitar from the 70s. Thanks for giving me the fire under my butt to try selling shoes and stuff. I am going to try it and see.
absolute banger video Josh! I love the mr beast shirt and the entire meaning behind the challenge! I am certain that these videos will help inspire and motivate someone to go out there and give reselling a go.
You are awesome! I watched all 4 videos last night. I was excited. You gave me hope because I'm new to this. I started this year and only made 4 sales. I have over 40 items listed. I went out today...you almost had me buy tennis rackets, the bag for it, a bicycle helmet, etc. Lol. I didn't do it. But did buy other things. Thank you for sharing and being yourself. I hope I do a fraction in sales, like you did in less than a month.
Well, let's start with the simple fact that this was and is a very good and enjoyable four part video! I think that every professional reseller needs to take a challenge like this one from time to time, just in order to get the weels turning and building back the enthusiasm of building and maitaining a store. It's true, it is possible to start with nothing and build a successful reselling business, it is NOT as easy as you make it look. It takes a pro. to know where to go in the erea he is located and when. What you showed us here is that it's possible for a "professional" to succeed when taking that kind of a challange, THIS IS NOT SOMETHING A BEGGINER CAN DO! In any case THANK YOU, I enjoyed it very much.
After self-employment taxes, that's actually more like $854 profit. (And even less if your state has income tax.) Still, not bad at all for the amount of work done. And assuming someone doesn't consume that profit, but rather can reinvest it into more inventory, the returns can be even greater quite quickly. Very nicely done series of videos! It was a great idea for a project, and very entertaining and informative for us. Happy reselling!
what an awesome series of videos, im a newbie in flipping n reselling here in Australia (will be you tubing my adventures as well) but found that was well worth the time to watch, big fan of your channel - awesome
A cool bonus to end the challenge would be ending the month with $1000 and having $1000 worth of listings. With how much you were over the thou, it would have probably been easily within reach. Great challenge.. watching it late, but glad I came across it
So proud of you Josh! This is a great motivating series. I’m trying this out as a side hustle, I’ve sold my first eBay item and i need to get to sourcing (even on the curb, apparently). 🤣
WOW! That was great from beginning to the end of the challenge! Enjoyed all of your content and how you go about all of it. Thank you for all of the tips and information.
Really enjoyed this series and seeing the progress from nothing to a business. Of course, nobody starts out with your knowledge and experience just beginning. So much can be learned watching videos but doing it is the only way to learn it. Mose is a lucky dog getting a special new toy🤣🤣🤣Thank you Josh👍👍
That price was fair. Back before all these platforms all you really hoped for was to double your money on a buy. Good challenge. Love the Mr. Beast shirt.
I loved watching this series. When do you stop buying inventory? I have so much stuff to list and get sold. It is like the fear of missing out that keeps me buying stuff.
In a perfect world I would never have more than 25 items unlisted at any time. But it isn't a perfect world lol. If you're running out of space for inventory, either listed or unlisted, you should probably stop buying until you figure out the logistics.
New subscriber here. Love that part where the bag flew away and then the cart tried to escape as well LOL. Anyway, there's a lot of value in your content and I'm loving it. 😍
Love the positive vibes Josh!!! You do a great job and the content is awesome. Plus you do lives to interact with your community. All around a great person just doing great things!!!
i started a similar thing back in 2008 but with sportscards and starting with $300...it was much easier to hustle back then with eBay frequently eBay doing free listings and shipping prices were much lower...those costs essentially drove me out of the flipping game on eBay, as i was hustling low cost - high volume, but im still seeing residuals from the 200 listings a month they give with little to no effort...nothing like buying something for $0.05 and selling for $15
I started reselling things around my house to test out eBay and see if I even liked it. Sold some sports memorabilia that was collecting dust in my garage for 5 years in a box. Made $200 and started watching you and a few others. Now I make a nice side hustle that I can list the items during my down time at work. With the moneys I earn it just sits in a separate acct waiting for us to go on vacation. Also a portion goes towards my kids ESA. Thank you josh ! CentralValleyCloset on eBay if you wanna check it out. I started it 7 months ago and it’s a work a progress still but I think I’ve improved greatly thanks to your videos.
Absolutely AWESOME set of videos. Very well done, complete and easy to understand. I am sure this has and will continue to help many people who are itching to get into the business.
Josh...thank you for all of your efforts! I have a vlog on RUclips also (poker related), and I know it takes a lot of time and effort! I am also a reseller, so I love the content...always motivational! I think this was a great and fun challenge, but there is one thing that you have that a new reseller may not have, and that is KNOWLEDGE. You know where and how to get/sell stuff, you know what sells, etc. So, for newbies, this IS a great way to make money, but don't get discouraged when you don't have immediate success. Keep watching and learning and that KNOWLEDGE will be gained by yourself!
This video was like the end of Game of Thrones. Selling to yourself was like Jon Snow going to live out his days north of the wall. Liked the content idea, though.
I watched this whole series and really enjoyed it :) I think a certain amount of 'knowledge' is required to know what sells and what doesn't - however overall it was really enjoyable to watch:)
Thank you for this series. I am new to the reselling arena and while I have been watching a lot of videos on what to buy and what to leave, this has given me a solid foundation to begin. I actually have rallied my family to to "donate" to me first and what I can't sell I will take to their charity of choice. I think for me, this really helped me understand how the process works from the ground up. I dumped Facebook and Instagram over a year ago because I don't agree with certain things they are doing so I may have to join those again because I am also looking into digital sales for graphics on Etsy and social media accounts are super helpful in that market so maybe I will have to bite the bullet and just sign up again. I know you made this a while ago but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the challenge!! You are such a hustler and gave me great ideas. I totally forgot about selling to Play it Again Sports and I’m gonna do more on FB marketplace. Awesome instructive videos!! Thank you!!
Key Takeaway: "Reselling can be a great side hustle or full time income, you just have to put in the work" SO TRUE!
Agreed, but I think that can be said for almost anything out there... 😀
Knowing the products and knowing what sells is part of the success, but I think this is a great way to show how resell happens. It s a very impressive 4 weeks with 0 cash down. Thank you for this video!
Thanks Josh! This video/challenge looks like a lot of work to film, edit and track! Thanks for effort so we can see these results! Clever ending! 👏
I cant stop laughing at the cart, and the bag trying to fly away.
Me too. I had to rewind it a couple of times. 😂🤣😂😂😂
I lauhed pretty hard at that......
Yeah, I've totally been there. I was Laughing Out Loud for sure!!!
This was a great example! What you didn't add, though, is YOUR knowledge. I had never even heard of some of those shoe brands! Your knowledge is admirable!
Thank you! It comes with experience. Lots of trial and error.
Loved this challenge! Such a great step by step picture of what a new reseller could do with a $0 investment!
I agree! I started my selling from my closet..huge that it is. Got tired of stuff so started selling, buying more, selling it. Now husband warns me stay out of his closet! I am on a roll.

I love how the bag went almost all the way around the car...it was teasing you.
It was funny when the bag was blowing away but it was even funnier when the cart was blowing away too 😅😭😭😭😭😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The bag and cart was making a run for it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You inspired me to start selling online. I started last week on one platform only - selling items I all ready have but haven't used in years. My total profit is a little over $100. Smart move liquidating remaining inventory to your permanent store due to time constraints to end your 30day challenge!!
Seeing you make that much doing this in just 30 days and starting from $0 is amazing and makes me want to look into doing this more in the future as a full time job.
Lol! Oh my goodness! Love the runaway cart and bag and you running! So cool to include even the mess ups and all in videos!
Love that you did this challenge and shared with all! My boys have watched me grow my own reselling biz but I'm going to have them watch your 30 day challenge over the summer to encourage them too. Reselling requires hard work, persistence and lots of packing tape! 😃

I really enjoyed the challenge. I felt it was a realistic example of what is possible. Much respect for starting a completely new eBay acct.
So cool! Now I’m all pumped up after the end of this. Got goosebumps and everything. It’s an exciting business to be in!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I wanna see a update of how much RUclips Harry tornado made off the purchase from no name harry tornado.
Lol I'll do it!
Josh, love your creative ending for the challenge. Thanks for all the work you put in , we appreciate it!
I enjoyed the series very much. Thank you. Great job by the way.
Having your own cart is next level...got one a while ago and helps SO much even at the goodwills.

iTS THE ART OF THE SALE.....so happy for you and I love the excitement that you showed with the hustle. Great series....go get it and make a living
Man hit his goal and didn't stop. That is hustle

Dude! When you picked up that Lakers hat and that Dolphins hat was there, Wow! That’s almost as good as a shark tooth hat.
I thought it was a shark tooth hat at first lol
The IKEA bag & the cart! 🤣🤣 Best video ever!
Thanks for finishing the challenge- loved it!

Innovative ending solution. And another great lesson of thinking outside the box. Kudos👍👍👍
I would love if you did this every once in a while! Maybe different goals or projects. Like doing it "full time for one week" or challenges like that
Love this series. Thank you for doing it.
Congratulations on meeting your challenge, Josh! Every word, TRUE!
A cool bonus to end the challenge would be ending the month with $1000 and having $1000 worth of listings. With how much you were over the thou, it would have probably been easily within reach.

Harry, I absolutely love it when you are so real! I loved your bag and cart trying to get away. The guitar playing is still the best though!
New subscriber here. Love that part where the bag flew away and then the cart tried to escape as well LOL. Anyway, there's a lot of value in your content and I'm loving it. 😍
Great job 👏 I watched the entire series and learned a lot. Thank you for the motivation.
That might be the most brilliant rug ever. You can stain it all day long and your just adding to the art. lol
Love the positive vibes Josh!!! You do a great job and the content is awesome. Plus you do lives to interact with your community. All around a great person just doing great things!!!
This was a great idea, definitely enjoyed it. I think selling the lot to a reseller was a great idea.
I sold a pair of identical blue Brooks sneaks not too long ago. Good luck and great that you found 2 of them!
And it all started with the red Nike golf bag found on the roadside. Great job!

For lacrosse sticks these brands are good ECD, Maverick, Powell, Dragonfly, and String King. I you find these useful.
You have a good heart . Don't lose that in the process . Keep up your good work.
Hope everyone has a great day 👍🎊🤣☀️✅
Well done!!!! This was so much fun!!!
Good for you with that rug - really quite trendy !
I’ve been waiting for this! So happy it’s here
k, I didn't know what you were talking about the halloween blow up thing on the pdacast. I can't believe that sold for that much in MAY!!!
Right?! Crazy
that nemo plush's looking right into my soul
Interesting challenge series, I learned a lot. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Josh!….I’m going to find my vtg polo bear hat and list it!!! 💰
FINALLY! You're the man, Josh!
Your correct use of the word aglet shows your smarts or perhaps your love of Phineas and Ferb.
Definitely the latter lol
Props for working through that hurricane that was seemingly happening at one point.
Anytime u see corrosion in electronics ginger cleans it so well and 7 /10 will make the item work again from what I have seen
Hi Jeremy. Ginger powder or do you have to use the fresh stuff? How do you use it?
@@alicecarvo6398 I meant vinegar liquid vinegar on a q-tip
Few drops on a dropper use q-tip to wipe clean don't dry leave open two days and u will come back to it cleaned perfectly
Fab videos - really enjoyed them. Thanks Sue 😀
Enjoyed watching your videos. Fun & Informative
It pains me to do it but I think it will help get the networking back.
Thank you again and I appreciate your videos!
Was watching the premiere during a literal tornado warning... So enjoyed this series!❤️
We had one too!!
@@HairyTornado thankful to God for your safety and ours!
I love how much you care, and teach us new resellers. Could you do me a favor, and tap your pups head a little softer? I know he can take it, and I can see how much he loves you, but I say ouch every time lol :) You're one of my favorites BTW :)
Can you explain your setup of a business and taxes? This would help with stressful thinking on that end of it.
congratulations 👏 👏 for the challenge..... great way to end the challenge....
Awesome! Im so inspired! Thank you! Subscribed!
Love the challenge...!!!! Helped my a ton... Keep selling !
I know you made this a while ago but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the challenge!! You are such a hustler and gave me great ideas. I totally forgot about selling to Play it Again Sports and I’m gonna do more on FB marketplace. Awesome instructive videos!! Thank you!!
Thank you!
