This song has some of the best guitar solos in metal/rock, love them. What Kirk was stepping on at 8:25 is called a wah pedal, it gives a cool sound effect to the notes.

Lars uses Ahead sticks made of 7075 aerospace aluminium tubes with polyurethane, James plays using Ken Lawrence custom for good clean sound. Kirk plays his magical Greeny guitar, one of the most expensive in the world due to its unique sound.
James has good posture because he blew his back out in a water sports accident. He used to be a world class sloucher. Check out the live stuff from the early days. He had an iconic stance for his singing and playing.

That guitar that you like so much, is called the Explorer. It's the shape, not the brand name. Originally from Gibson in 1958. Not popular at all back then. James more or less made it the most popular by constantly using it. Still does, though he uses several Flying V's and several Les Pauls (the one Kirk is using, the lead guitarist). I love that shape, as well.

My son's (17 & 34 year olds) also LOVE metal, Metallica in particular. Chicklet, you are awesome and I can't wait to watch all your videos.
Lincoln, Nebraska. I was there. My 4th time seeing them in 4 different States with all 3 bassists. The whole show is 2 hours 25 minutes and is on RUclips. You should check it out cause it was incredible. This was the first time EVER playing in Lincoln in their 37 year career at that time. Their 7 other concerts in Nebraska were all in Omaha.

@@jodyandamanda i just want to send a recommendation for a Metallica Reaction. One of their most underrated songs is The Outlaw Torn. I would suggest if you do a live version, do from the show in Mannheim Germany. The Album version is of course amazing, or do the album version then live in the same reaction lol. You will not be disappointed.

This song is from their second album "Ride The Lightning" when they were around 20 years old. For Whom The Tolls and Creeping Death from the same album deserve many listens. Peace/JT

They’ve all got white hair(well besides rob), they are definitely old😂. Doesn’t change the fact they are amazing and the best band in the world.
