- I wasn't totally taken by the 89 Batman Beast Kingdom figure... but this new Batman Returns was very impressive and a total reinforced upgrade, imo...

Nice intro, good presentation, beautiful whistle
I was shocked when i came across these recently. They had the Neca brand onces which where a similar thing but they would sell for over $300 online. I saw these Beast Kingdom ones starting popping up which are more affordable and seem to be the same quality. Just ordered my Batman Returns ones several days ago im stoked!
Definitely better quality than neca. These feel solid and smooth. Neca feels like the limbs are about to snap! But good !! Can't wait for you to get yours
Thanks, the price is definitely a steal for sure
pretty cool!
Thank you!
Wow
1989 suit better though
In this line of figure... I didn't think so due to the mismatched parts. It had cloth for the limbs and pleather for the other parts. It wasn't consistent. But this batman returns edition flows over all
No way no how
You dont like McFarlane but you collect those ugly ass MOTU Origins figures? No accounting for taste i guess🤷♂️
🤣🤣🤣 at least them motu hold the weight and has withstood 40 years. It's all subjective as I said but, don't talk to me about taste when clearly them mcfarlane dc figures are way more horrid ha! Either way, thank you and hope your collection goes great 👌
@@TheJfury1030 Dude, Origins are not 40 years old. The line is like 4 or 5 years old.
At £20 a figure you just can't beat McFarlane. I'll take the "diaper" as you call it over the horrible hip gaps you get on things like Marvel Legends any time. Eh. Whatever works for you I guess. You're missing out on some awesome figures.
For the record, I do actually like MOTU. Had a massive collection in the 80's and I have a bunch of Masterverse figures but those Origins figures with the weird 80's roided midget proportions are just ridiculous looking. In my opinion, of course.
@gmon78 that's exactly what I meant about origins and motu being around 40yrs. They've kept consistent with nice modern updates. I love 90s mcfarlane, all day... just not a fan anymore of the dc line. And yes, i tried liking it and liking solely because McFarlane but no... I can't if I'm being honest with myself. I actually have several reviews up a few years back on the DC line as I went heavy in on it before. But for the motu... I love the classic nostalgia it's kept true to
@@TheJfury1030 I get the nostalgia, but I want more from my figures than I did as a kid. I've always been a big Transformers fan but I have no interest in the modern reissues of G1 toys. I prefer modern engineering and articulation. That's why I much prefer Masterverse figures over Origins.
Have a good one man 👍
