That's a pretty great looking figure. Having actual "armor" pieces is a really cool touch. Just a shame about the undersuit and the joint breaking though

they really need to make the cape/fabric materials thinner or something, the material they use dont drape down properly at this scale
Great review! But I would only get this figure as fodder for my own custom '89 Batman. This isn't the only QC issues people have had with this figure.
And people are crying because Mezco did a seamless silicone/rubber body because they use a powder starch for store the figure in the box, and because people don’t know how to put the cape on properly…
And that’s 1/12 scale!
Breakage at the elbows is a real problem with these. Yours is like the fifth one I've seen break DURING a video review.

They also put the wrong Nike/boots on him. They gave him the Air Jordan 6 Nike boots when he should've had the Nike Air Trainer 3 boots in the 89.
Good review 👍🏻. At one point i contemplated getting it but the garbage bag cape kinda turned me off. As well as the symbol issue you mentioned

Thanks! Yeah it sucked that it broke… but it happens. I was filming the Hot Toys Doc Brown and during that filming I dropped the RC remote he comes worth and the antenna on it broke in half. It’s awful when it happens cuz this stuff is so expensive. I don’t have any Mafex figures coming. I mostly collect Hot Toys.

Worst figure ever. Had the dam thing for only a few hours. This video was the one and only time I ever touched it. Just unreal.
