    The Riffle Fan was first showcased in Dimitri’s video “Silent Transition” in 2011. It has then been published in his dvd “Monument” (store.theory11.com/products/m..., but because the mechanics of the move evolved with the years, we’ve decide to release an upgraded tutorial.
    The Riffle Fan is definitely one of Dimitri’s most treasured and favorite creation, and it’s considered as modern classic: there is no doubt that adding it to your repertoire will help you grow as a cardist.
    Enjoy!
    Cardistry performed by Dimitri Arleri

      Its actually the pressure thing, I was really confused at first but when you don't care about dropping the cards and just release some pressure you will see that the cards will move more on their own.

      Also remember to tilt forward and right (or left if you hold the deck in your left hand)

    Awesome tutorial! I want to add a tiny tip for beginners that might be very helpful. To prevent the fingers of the right hand from blocking the fan, just move completely out of the way both pinky and ring finger! You will see how the fan appears like magic and with time you can add those two fingers to the position he already explained. 👍

      @@omarmostafa9274 from what I've seen, the riffling action is almost identical from the anaconda dribble. Now I still have yet to do the riffle fan myself but from observation and other videos people have suggested getting that dribble down pretty well will help a lot!

  • @AllegreGamer
    @AllegreGamer 4 года назад +4

    One great tip I can share with you after trying to learn this move: Dribble the cards slower than an usual dribble. I noticed that if you dribble the cards at a slower speed it helps to spread the cards wider as it gives more time to each card to distance from each other. Hope this helps.

  • @Jesys1
    @Jesys1 7 лет назад +9

    Absolutely beautiful fan. I could get about 1/2 to 3/4 around with just 5 minutes of practice. Just a couple pointers to others from my experience:
    1. Remember to dribble, don't riffle. If you haven't aleady, I definitely suggest watching the Anaconda tutorial, "Riffle Fan" really is sort of a misnomer.
    2. When you apply pressure with your top hand, don't just push down; try to only put pressure above your bottom hand's index finger. This creates pressure on the pivot, and frees the fan to swing around.
    I hope this helps someone, I absolutely love the look of this move.

    Est-ce que pour le tornado il faut faire un plus petit riffle fan? Et est-ce qu'il faut que le deck soit le moins glissant possible? Merci en tout cas pour ce tuto Dimitri ;)

    • @CardistryTouch
      @CardistryTouch  7 лет назад +2

      Pour le Riffle Tornado, c'est en effet plus simple avec un fan plus petit, car c'est un peu plus stable, mais c'est tout a fait possible avec un grand fan. Et pour la condition du jeu, en effet c'est mieux avec un jeu un peu usée, mais pas non plus trop pourri :p

    • @thomasguenier8582

    • @CardistryTouch
      @CardistryTouch  7 лет назад +1

      non, la main gauche ne bouge jamais jusqu'au moment ou tu veux re-grip pour display le fan :) Pour le tornado, c'est un mouvement très léger du pouce mais tu verra que au bout d'un moment ça marche presque tout seul avec la gravité^^

    • @thomasguenier8582
      @thomasguenier8582 7 лет назад

      J'ai déjà essayer de faire le tornado en faisant un thumb fan sur le petit côté ça fais mal à l'index à la fin XD Et pour le Riffle fan simple est-ce que c'est plus simple si le paquet est légèrement plier dans l'autre sens du dribble si vous voyez ce que je veux dire?

    • @CardistryTouch
      @CardistryTouch  7 лет назад +1

    I tried this year's ago and gave up, I revisited it a few weeks ago and with this video and the rise magic video I finally got it. It didn't even take that long I just had to keep trying even when it seemed I hadn't made any progress at all.

    Dimitri looks so serious from the beginning to the end of the tutorial, except the final moment, lolzzz.
    The way he teaches in the tutorial is way improved than in the Monuments DVD :D
    I almost thought that he will give tips on how to spin the whole riffle fan after display it, hehe
