After seeing the title of the video and knowing how far that passage is, the first thing I wanted to ask you was how you felt doing it alone and I think it was your farthest so far. Well as I got into it, you definitely answered that question bro. Glad you made it there ok, and still had daylight. Can't wait till the next Chase, your exploring videos are great and informative. Stay safe brother!
Hello there Chase! Out of every sailing RUclips channel, I can honestly say that your videos are the ones I truly relax to and feel connected to. I’ve been sailing my whole life, so I know the feelings you describe - thank you for being you in front of the camera.⛵️🫶🏻
I could watch that first 1:45 endlessly! Really nice intro on this one Chase!! Love seeing your video/editing chops grow along with everything else on this channel. 💪🏼
Hi, i can see/hear your dinghy is scratching against your tubes. Can i suggest you buy some insulating foam for tubes and wrap it around the tubes in the areas appropriate !!
It usually snugs up tighter so I need to fix how the dynema is wrapping on the winch but also want to get some foam for the pipes! we're on the same page. the noise drove me crazy and I ended up tying some extra line on the tender to pull it forward as a temporary fix.
You are such a inspiration. I live in Gulf Shores Alabama ans dream of sailing around the world. But have other dreams to accomplish first like getting passive income with rental properties. Keep up the good work look forward to your videos. Love charlie too.
if I can do it, you can do it! Get that cashflow but don't wait too long! You might need less money for this lifestyle than you think! I believe in you! come find me when you're out here Joseph! Cheers!
So my head sail actually provides the bulk of the power! I don't always use the mainsail as mine is very difficult to bring down in heavy winds (18 knots plus) especially while I'm by myself. To bring it down requires me going on deck and wrestling with the sail a bit so since I'm solo I won't be flying the mainsail too much unless its light wind. Hopefully that explains it!
So the mounts are weighted for it and I asked a few people who keep their outboard on for recommendations but I will say it stresses me out too. For long journeys I'll probably take it down but I need to install a mount on the pushpit railing to hang the outboard on first
Thanks!
Thank you so much Julie! Beer's on Julie today Everyone!!!!!

May be a stupid question, but why do you only use that small sail and not the big one?
Greetings from Germany 🙋🏻♂️

@@ChasingGrace21 makes sense to me! Thanks for the explanation. Love your videos. Life‘s good.
The weight of your outboard engine hanging off the davits worries me. Also the stress on the mounts in the dinghy floor.

Have been wondering, does charlie actually swim after you when leaving the boat or is removing the stairs just as a precaution?
he hasn't swam but we found him stranded on the swim platform and unable to get back up. his separation anxiety is a little next level
Day 10 of asking you to do a backflip into the water hihi
u reading an essay ?😢
I'm so sorry but I don't understand your comment, can you elaborate?
When is your girlfriend going to be back? I miss her big smile ❤
