My brother lived and worked in Dominica from 2010 until 2015. He worked at a new resort being built on the island. My brother was designing the landscape and irrigation system for the resort. Unfortunately, his drug use and alcoholism caught up with him and he passed away on the island in 2015. But he loved Dominica. I enjoy your videos on your travels and experiences.
That haircut and the beers on me. 1:10 -- This is why I love your videos. Useful knowledge for those of us planning similar travels. I mean, you and Charlie and all the fantastic and engaging people you meet along the way too, but some of your videos are like a free travel guide/sailing consultant/Caribbean native for all us noobs. Appreciate you so much Chase.
Glad to have you bro, love your energy. Do enjoy your stay here, wish you gods protection during the passing of the storm. Sorry that the Haitian vendor tried to scam you at the end tho lol but it didn't look like it worked so good on you 👍🏾. You gotta be firm and wise when dealing with these kinds of situations it can happen anywhere.
Thnxs fr visiting my country,im 26 currently live here i have never traveled in my life bt i so happy to c my country on yt ❤ I dont live on dt side on d island no more it would be nice to have meet you Hope u come back again ❤❤❤❤❤❤ from dominica 🇩🇲
Ooooof he is a different man 😍😍 love the haircut and how much fun you’re having with the locals!! The poor taser pancake 😭 oh well, it happens. Lots of love
At the moment quite calm, got a little bit of wind and rain today but will definitely have a bumpy 48 hours. Storm forecast has improved and we should be all good. (touch wood)
😂😂😂 *The last vendor not from Dominica* 😂😂 (she not a real Dominican) ..why would she try that stunts and over charge for food ? (vegetable) I mean come on....
"2$ a pound, this is dominuca". Sorry this is not true at all. Please don't make people believe that. There is no way you can find tuna at that price. The real price is a minimum of 10$ a pound. Thanks.

Enjoy the island vibes you seem down to earth
Another great video! Loving the editing, feels like you really found your grove. Cheers from Sweden!
Nice to have a chill shore day. Food looked delicious. See ya tomorrow.
it was so needed! A great place for some comfort too. thanks Barbara
Salt Fish traditionally it’s Cod but now more commonly Pollock. Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh cool! All the food here is so hearty and delicious!
Now your talking! Big smile, great fish talk, eats! So much simple fun! Follow up on the windlass.

Stingray had no problem. He went out and lived a long life.🎉
My favorite island in the caribbean
$6 a pound in possi, waw, not in roseau, 8 and 10 a pound waw, u guys lucky up there
Usd bruh. $5 ec is just about 2 us
Nice video bro. You're getting better at filming yourself. :)

OMG, that cut is fire!!
That's sea siren behind you the red/black and white boat I'm from Portsmouth
Great episode. Cutting the line is the only thing you can do. The ray will probably survive.
Wow! That tuna!!
You look so happy with all that food.
who isn't happy with food? the perfect remedy for an exhausted traveller
Looking fresh with the new 'do!
How’s the weather? Looks like a sporty night ahead.
At the moment quite calm, got a little bit of wind and rain today but will definitely have a bumpy 48 hours. Storm forecast has improved and we should be all good. (touch wood)
Can your dog go to shore or has to stay on the boat? What’s it like having the dog aboard in other places?
You need a Onewheel! Lots of walking
10:17 Chase, I never knew that you were so handsome! Now, that’s an excellent haircut and you probably feel several degrees cooler 😎 !
next time you in Dominica hit me up for your island tours could even go fishing for the tuna's.
Can a folding bicycle company sponsor this man? Needs a break from walking 😂
literally anything. bike, scooter, private jet. I'll take it!
The lady who sold you the lime tried to sell it expensive
She's a dirty 🐶🐕 if u ask me... Watch her face well... Chase put her in d video at d end fr a reason
She's not a local, she's a Haitian vendor, some of them buy in bulk from the local farmers to resell at a profit.
I’m jealous of that tuna
Welcome
Nice haircut!
The Hatian lady didn’t trick u. Sometimes, the prices of food n fish can be very expensive if scarce. 🙏🏾
That's true. The price for citrus has gone up greatly over the years because of its scarcity locally. The days of 8 limes for a dollar is over.
About time 😂
Probably barracuda saltfish,heh.
The jury is still out. My bet is whatever little fish are swimming in the Indian River.
BB and grapefruit yes i
I forgot I should've had you record the haircut while i was doing it maybe next time whenbyou come bac to the shop again
we have to next time! Thanks again brother!
❤

That hook will rust out in a week or so
🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲
I think those are green plantains Yo. Not bananas.
I don't know I think I had both. The lady who gave me salt fish and bananas definitely said bananas but I had the larger ones too
The first was green bananas with codish
They are bananas. We eat green bananas and salt fish. Not green plantains and saltfish.
@@ChasingGrace21 Ahhhh, Iv'e only seen plantains like that in the caribbean. I just learned something!
Tight cut
Had to make it last a while!
Once again I was unscribed! This is uncool! Come on utube stop it.

Tuna is now $5 Ec per pound from some fishermen , especiallyon the west coast, has alot ,very cheap atm , so $2 uSD is right...
I live on the island, right now there's a lot of tuna on the market it's ridiculously cheap
yes, tuna is $5 - $6 a pound around the west coast and north. It's plentiful now
Sorry, it s 10$ a pound in Roseau no matter what you can say. Period.
