Happy Friday! It's a loooong weekend here in Alberta, Canada. Family Day is on Monday and it's a holiday here. However, a long weekend is nothing special to me these days as I have been home due to illness since May of 2019, so they are all long! lol The pandemic was certainly interesting, considering that I was already on a sort of "lockdown". Anyways, as for this weekend in particular, I will be writing...doing edits on my Go Fund Me page hoping to garner some interest and get some much needed help as it hasn't been doing that well. I'm in dire straits and fighting not only this damn cancer but the loss of my vehicle, which is a life line for me to get to my medical appointments, etc. I live a bit outside the city area and the transit is not great out here....suffice it to say, I really, really don't want to lose Louise....that's my car's name...ya, I know I'm weird, I name my car...just like when folks tell me that I am weird for needing to splash my face in the morning with cold water...I personally think that plenty of folks do that...but, I digress....back to the original question...so, this weekend I will be working on edits, walking in the woods beside my home, doing some laundry/house work and reading...but I wouldn't call any of that fun exactly...excepy for maybe the walking and reading...lol Whatever You, Eric & Miss Luna get up to, I hope that it is definitely good fun!! Love From Calgary, Canada xoxo 🍁💕
5:18 that is NOT a Boeing 747. That is it’s “big brother” the A380. The difference between the two planes is that the A380 has two decks that run the entire length of the plane and the 747 has that iconic hump. Plus, if a 747 was parked at that gate, you would probably be able to see the cockpit glass windows cause they’re so high up. You probably won’t see a 747 parked at an airport cause many airlines & companies are retiring them.
How terrifying about the medical emergency! So scary. Yall are INCREDIBLE for saving your passenger and making sure he was cared for properly. So thankful for amazing flight attendants like you 🙏🏽💚
Hi Julia, a medical emergency does sound scary, and glad the passenger was ok. You flight attendants, no matter what airline you work for, are super awesome people. Have a great day wherever you are at
It’s great to know that all that training you do every year just kicks in when there is an emergency. I’m sure that’s comforting for people to know. Thanks for all you do!❤️✈️
No worries, but that British Airways aircraft was actually an Airbus A380! British Airways used to fly the 747 to Dallas before they have retired due to the pandemic in early 2020.
Lol on the yoga pants, I was wearing them in the 70s! Great video as always, a good friend of mine was a FA back in the 80s and the stories she would tell all of us not a job I could do, but they all say the same about me having retired as a police office 🤷. I truly respect what you do!
Another fun video. Sorry to hear about the medical emergency, but glad that the passanger was ok in the end. I know some people think flight attendants just serve drinks in the sky, but is SO much more. Thank you to you and all the other flight attendants who go to work everyday and putbon a smile, and help passangers get safley to their destinations.
Hey Julia! Hope your doing amazing, must be so nice to have a gym at the complex that’s always empty! Lol, also this was a very cool format to see your work week, and the British airways plane you saw was actually an airbus a380, the 747 only has the “hump” the a380 has the full two decks!
5:12 By the way, it's a British Airways A380! BA retired the 747 during the pandemic unfortunately... (The 747 is the plane with a part of an upper deck, but the a380 is a full upper deck)
Thanks for sharing your week Julia. Back in the day, we didn't need to bring food on our trips, we had crew meals boarded by catering and always leftover 1st class meals and economy (if available). I think crew meals are a standard on International flights (x-Atlantic and x- Pacific routes). We/I love seeing your videos. Inspration to others and good memories for me. A 24 hour LAX layover and a Red-Eye...Good and not-so-good all in one. Kudos.
I really enjoyed this video. Interesting to see what all you do in like a week of work. Including your medical emergency! Thank you and have a nice weekend!!
I love your videos. You are so cute and seem like you would be a fun flight attendant. That’s a hard job I bet. I think a lot of emotions go along with travel added to flying which is nerve wracking at best. Have a good trip.😊
Great vlog as always, Julia. I always get a big smile on my face when i see that you have uploaded something here or on Julia Jean. Happy to hear that the passenger was ok.
Really cool channel seeing the BTS of a flight attendant's work! I have a cousin who worked for PanAm and then British Airways for a good while, maybe 'til 20 years ago (she married a BA captain as well! lol). Cheers!
Just subscribed to your channel after watching a few of your videos. Never really knew what the career of a flight attendant was like. You definitely work hard, play hard. It's nice tagging along! Thanks
Do you usually hang out with the crew on a layover or by yourself? I find that sometimes the crew just doesn’t wanna hang out I really need to learn how to have fun by myself on layovers
Appreciate the work you put in behind the scenes editing your vlogs, it no doubt adds to the popularity of your channel. Also glad the emergency situation had a good outcome. I think many people don't realize the primary purpose of flight attendants is to keep passengers safe, comfort comes second. BTW we called flared legged pants bell bottoms way-way back in the day.😉
Julia - you’ve been incredibly brave in every way to have shared about your flight attendant journey. What really reached out to me was when you shared about the medical emergency. I really hope the passenger who experienced that, is doing okay. I’m proud of you for maintaining positivity and that you were able to use your training skills to help the passenger recover from the shock. 💕 I pray and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone. I love your vlogs. They’re very inspirational and have boosted my positivity levels by 1,000+. Keep up the awesome activity that you’re doing and enjoy yourself always. 💕
9:35 ☺ I read it, and I loved the book. There were some really intense moments but I overall found myself reading it for longer and longer sessions but I found myself relating to the main character quite a lot and it was a hard read but I am glad I stuck it out and I ended up really loving the book.
Great video Julia. Thank you to you and all the flight attendants who work the red eye flights. Stay safe and many blessings for continued great health. 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
Its sooo great to see what a full work week in your life looks like! I was looking forward to this video since you mentioned it in your earlier upload😍🤩🤩 I am heading for my FA training in a week and I cant stop watching your videos for tips and advices on how I can succeed on my training. It is very motivating to watch you!! All the best
I just randomly found your video. I'm from Rhode Island. The fact that you went down to The Last Book Store automatically make you AWESOME!! Great video! DD
Hi Julia, loved your week in the life video. I am so glad that the passenger you helped was OK and I can imagine it was very scary at the time. You do a great job keeping us safe in the skies. I have always wanted to fly on a British Airways plane. On a lighter note, glad you got to the book club. And as always, great to see Miss Luna making an appearance.
Julia, you will love your Nikon camera! I had a Nikon EM camera years ago, and I made some really good color pictures with it! I enjoy your videos from different locations! I had a female relative who was a flight attendant but I’m not sure what airline she worked for! Traveling and seeing new places would be so cool! Safe travels!
Julia i am a diabetic glad too hear you helped the passenger out who was in crisis on your flight if it would have been me on your flight i would relax and be comforted knowing you were aboard if i needed help
Hi Juila Nice seeing your video to help keep my mind off. On what has been a rough and sad time for New Zealand. After the North Island got beaten from cyclone Gabriellle . It’s been pretty sad seeing people lose there homes etc
Thanks Julia for another fab vlog and sharing your stories. From another FA, I’m so sorry you had a medical emergency, but it sounds like you and the crew handled it perfectly. I hope you have received some support following this. I’ve read The Midnight Library, it’s AMAZING. I cried buckets, it’s so beautiful, relevant and life changing, it was for me anyway! Sending you all the love from across the pond ❤️🇬🇧❤ xxx
Wow i so agree Diabetic shock is scary had a Dear school friend that had them from time to time But you fight crew & any drs or nurses on board all do amazing jobs at keeping every one safe ❤ That was quite a reserve week . Have a Good weekend 🥰
Great vlog as always! Easy jazz is never wrong, but what is wrong is the BA aircraft. It is a A-380 not a 747! BA scrapped all 747s during the pandemic. A friend of mine works as a ATC. He had a flight overhead BOO, a medical emg. From the pilots told ATC to the aircraft was off the rwy, aft airstairs came down while taxi to the gate to EMT in to aid the pax. It took 8mins. The aircraft was a MD-80.
Happy FriYAY!! Out of all the FA vloggers I watch I think you’re the best at lookin directly into the camera. Your college training definitely coming through! 🙂 Don’t know if anyone else caught it but @11:06 in the video, inside the plane, the lighting and the shutter speed of the camera were perfect to make it appear like it was under water. The waves of light were moving on the wall. I thought it was fantastic! 💙 Great video as always!! Blessings!! ✈️❤️☕️
Ciao GIULIA !!!!!!!!! Happy week end to you and Mr. Kronenberg and Miss Luna... Grazie per il video e... you are so nice and gentle... i love your video !!! Real life Real people !!! a big virtual hug !!!! Bye !!!
Love the thumbnail!! Great job on that ailing passenger! Y'all are heroes, even though you may deny it. That goes for your colleagues too. We're blessed to for you having our backs. Hope you guys enjoy your weekend! btw that bookstore looked amazing
Oh Julia I flew on the 747 with AA every summer from LAX to DC to visit family. Wow the 70s were cra,y. 🚬 on planes and Everyone dressed up. Bring back great memories!!! ♡
OMG! I love the 74's as well Julia!! I was so lucky once back in the day when I was a Flight Attendant that our crew got to dead head home to YYZ from LHR. I was so pumped when I got extra lucky and was seated upstairs!!! I'll never forget that flight or the amazing crew that were so awesome to us. It started with the assigned FA to my seating area (First Class!) Her name was Melanie Bowden and I will never forget her. She was an absolute darling and oh, so professional! She came by with some fabulous BA swag (blanket, toiletries kit, sleep mask, etc) Was like Christmas morning! But the pièce de résistance was when I felt that we were beginning our final and she came over to me to say, " Deborah, the Captain requests your presence in the flight deck!!" Holy Crap!! I almost snorted my tea! LOL 😂🤣So, needless to say, I sashayed on up there post haste! The boys were wonderful and I got to stay for the landing! Definitely one of, if not THE highlights of my career! I wish and pray really sincerely that you also get to realize that dream my friend.....you so deserve it and I would love too see that on one of your videos in the future!! Love From Calgary, Alberta, Canada 🍁💕 xoxo
I found u 12/29/22 & because I noticed how much u read I decided to preplanned books for the year. So far I have read 36 books this year as of 2/12 (all audiobooks, of course)
You must have been inside my mind. I was going to ask if you liked working redeye flights, and well.. I guess I don't have to now. haha British Airways (and a few other world airlines) retired all of their 747's during the pandemic. What you had there is an Airbus A380. Also, nice look at the Qatar A350.
Luna always wants to play frisbee ...hope you and Eric get a chance ( if you haven't already) to really check out Tampa and especially Clearwater Beach where we live..
awww , you are really cool I respect the hell out of that lifestyle , everything needs to be sharp on time clothes have to be drip drop , hair and looks need to be perfect AND then to work with actual people starts , passengers on a jet airplane !! thats not your everyday job .. Respect Your Aircrews and always follow their instructions Be Nice to Aircrews !!
I have been following your blogs and really enjoy watching them. There are so many different aspects involved in being an Air Hostess and you cover pretty much all of them. My Daughter is at this present time, in London training to become an Air Hostess and I have forwarded your You Tube blog to her. To encourage her in her training. Keep up the brilliant blogs😆✈
Peanut butter and apples, my favorite evening snack!😋 I live a couple of miles from an orchard and always have a variety of apples. Good job with the diabetic pax! I'm type 2 and very stable but every once in a while I go low. It's a little scary living alone but I usually have something sweet around. Last time I used peanut butter with maple syrup 😁
As a person who also has diabetes along with a whole slew of other chronic illnesses, I seriously wish that airlines had an ability for people to flag their tickets so that flight attendants could know about passengers who may have unexpected health incidents come up like hypoglycemic episodes so that the flight attendants don't completely (internally) freak out. But, because the airlines that service the two destinations that I do fly to (Albany, New York and West Palm Beach, FL), any time I do have to fly, I make an effort to let the flight attendants on board know what issues are bothering me for the times I have to fly for each leg of travel, what my early symptoms are and where my emergency meds are kept in my bags (typically in my diabetic case carabiner clipped to a strap on my bag that is around my waist that is labeled for what condition).
I’m so glad you could make your book club during a reserve week! Looked like a really fun spread and I hope it was a great time! The medical emergency must have been terrifying! I’m so glad the passenger was stable and people were available to help. Thank you for ALL you do on your flights to take care of the passengers and keep them safe. ❤❤
No shade but Gen X wore those first and they were called flare leggings in the 90s. I really think it's interchangeable depending on where you're from. Like highway and freeway or dinner and supper. So you're both right Lol I used to wear them everywhere, even Disney. Love your videos🤗🥰
Julia Wonderful video!! Really liked the idea and presentation of a week in the life of a flight attendant. What made it super interesting is that you and staff had to deal with an in flight emergency and handled it well! Glad you made the book club meeting, they are enjoyable. Nice you could spend time with Eric on Valentine’s Day! Regards Jennifer and Duncan from Canada
I drink green tea every day. If I were a flight attendant would I be able to do that since they stay in hotels? And there's no place for me to use my tea kettle.
Very cute channel like yourself. I've been following a pilot and its such a cool career and if I would've known how fun of a job this is I'll probably would've gone into being a pilot. It feels like something new not the same office to go to, as a Gemini I can't stand the boring routine so this could of being so great for me. Sadly back in my earlier years none of this info was available as the internet has opened so much of the world, and so much knowledge that back in my youth high school career day was usually the same old same boring careers. But I love everything about the Airline Industry, its such an up beat career and full of new places to see and explore, I really enjoy the fast pace feel of it all. Keep at it and can't wait for more fun filled adventures. All the Best, Happy Travels!
5:14 That's actually an Airbus A380 parked outside not a Boeing 747. A380s have the upper deck go the entire plane while 747s upper deck is only the front of the plane and has a hump. As you can tell i'm an aviation expert lol! Must be so cool to fly in one of those!
Thank you for your wonderful video. Your videos are part of my life. You always do a great job. Overnight flights are the hardest shift to serve. Your attitude is always professional. Well, the scenes of Qatar and British Airways are nicely captured. By the way, I like the "livery" of your fingernails. Keep going. Greetings as well to Eric and Luna from Munich / Germany. See you soon in your next videos.
Happy Friday and Happy Belated Valentine's Day, Julia, Eric and Luna! 💝💝♥♥ I will be working but also meeting up with girlfriends from high school for a dinner tomorrow night. I loved the look of your book club! 📚📚 The theme was put together so well. I have Matt Haig's book but I haven't read it yet. Can't wait to hear what you think! Have a great weekend! 🥰🥰
I wonder, could you wait out your stand-by in American Airlines Admirals Club, it would seem to me much more comfortable setting, or is that not permitted ?
Happy Friday! 🤗 Thanks for starting your weekend off by watching my video! Any fun plans??? - JJ
Happy Friday
Just relaxing and seeing a movie ❤ happy Friday

I've still seen a decent amount of freight 747's in use. A380's are getting retired too sadly. My two favourite aircrafts are dying haha
@@AllycatlovesAG final 747 just built, for cargo. The engines are not efficient enuf for today. I too love them
They are on the way out. Fly them while you still can!

Except it was not a 747. Was the ugly A380. An FA should know the difference.
If you love them so much, you should know that its an a380
Nice clip, enjoyed. With the BA plane ,think that was the Airbus A380.
Those double decker Airbus 380’s are humongous aren’t they??? Thanks for sharing as usual and have a great weekend!
Thank for make me company . Watching from Brazil 🇧🇷
I hope you had a great trip and have a great weekend
I found u 12/29/22 & because I noticed how much u read I decided to preplanned books for the year. So far I have read 36 books this year as of 2/12 (all audiobooks, of course)
Great Video! What shoes do you wear to work? Thanks.
It's a pity that your airline hasn't got one of the Airbus A 380.Awaome airline. Thanks for your vlog.Keep up your vlogs😎
I’m a new subscriber so nice to see an insight and clear enjoyment of your life and work. 😊
Another awesome vid! Great job dealing with the emergency! Training kicked in
You have an amazing weekend. Ciao. 2023. Stay safe.
You must have been inside my mind. I was going to ask if you liked working redeye flights, and well.. I guess I don't have to now. haha
British Airways (and a few other world airlines) retired all of their 747's during the pandemic. What you had there is an Airbus A380. Also, nice look at the Qatar A350.
Luna always wants to play frisbee ...hope you and Eric get a chance ( if you haven't already) to really check out Tampa and especially Clearwater Beach where we live..
I'm new here! I want to be a flight attendant and I'm learning from u:) You are beautiful!
It just shows that flight attendant are trained to be counselors, servers, first Responders, pretty much jacks and janes of all trades.
Wow medical emergency would be scary. Sounds like you handled it well. That London hoodie you was wearing at beginning of vid looked cool.
Thank you
Happy valentine day to you and Eric 💛🧡🤎
And of course MISS LUNA ❤💙💜💚. 🙏🏾🙏
Happy weekend, Julia!❤
Happy weekend! ☀️
You too!
awww , you are really cool
I respect the hell out of that lifestyle , everything needs to be sharp on time
clothes have to be drip drop , hair and looks need to be perfect
AND then to work with actual people starts , passengers on a jet airplane !!
thats not your everyday job ..
Respect Your Aircrews and always follow their instructions
Be Nice to Aircrews !!
*A380. The BA first class is amazing btw! Love that plane!
Read the Midnight Library and loved it safe travels
I’m stuck at home with a cold, my third one in the winter😢 thank you for your vlog! ❤
Ohhhh no feel better! I swear that was me last year with illness. Sending you healing vibes! ❤️
@@JettingJulia ❤❤❤thank you so much!
I am so sorry hope you feel better keep hydrated and read 😢❤😢
@@laurenschenck5355 thank you, will definitely do that! Books are perfect companions under these circumstances! 💞
Hi Julia, a medical emergency does sound scary, and glad the passenger was ok.
Great muscle tone. Keep crushin it!
Still looking great Julia, as always. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Julia
Wonderful video!!
Regards
Jennifer and Duncan from Canada
Awesome vlog young lady, enjoy
Like your vlogs Julia! Such a Wholesome person . Hope to meet you one day at my gate!! Be well ✈️🐾
I loved The Midnight Library!
I really enjoyed it, actually finished it yesterday!
I drink green tea every day. If I were a flight attendant would I be able to do that since they stay in hotels? And there's no place for me to use my tea kettle.
Thank you for all your videos
Today is my first evening of February Break! We’re goin’ to Fort Myers!
I will be working but also meeting up with girlfriends from high school for a dinner tomorrow night. I loved the look of your book club! 📚📚 The theme was put together so well.
I have Matt Haig's book but I haven't read it yet. Can't wait to hear what you think!
Have a great weekend! 🥰🥰
How fun Lori! Hope you and your girlfriends have a fabulous night. I finished the Midnight Library yesterday and I loved it!
Beautiful channel and this video is well edited!
I wonder, could you wait out your stand-by in American Airlines Admirals Club, it would seem to me much more comfortable setting, or is that not permitted ?
The BA was a Super Jumbo FYI.
