Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Theo, thanks for including us in the work to finish the barn house. We ‘ve been with you for the whole journey and it’s a great pleasure watching it all come to a beautiful conclusion. Love to you and Bea. 💖🦋👏
I appreciate that!
Hundredth like on this comment 🙂 Yes I got excited to hear that's what we were to be shown today! Lovely to see it all again.
I think if you have not watch the renovation from the beginning you cannot appreciate what a lot of hard work you have put into it. You should be so pleased with yourselves. It is gorgeous and the next owners will love it. ❤
I agree.....seeing it again after knowing the hard graft which went into doing it.........and its so beautiful........stunning in fact!
As a viewer i truelly appreciate that even though plans have changed we still get to see the finishing of this build. :)
That’s great to hear ❤️
Yes!!!
If I had money I would buy your place now. Whoever gets to buy it will be sure to have a wonderful loved home.
The strength of your relationship is what sustained you both and allowed you to finally soar and thrive. To see you both now is amazing. I went back to the oldest videos and realized how long I've followed you both. SOAR
What a joy finishing up those last details for the next owners to love!
❤️
Bee looks absolutely gorgeous in that yellow jumpsuit!!!💛💛💛
It was very sweet of you to reassure the people who are overwhelmed for you that you are not stressed and overwhelmed so they should not worry for you. You take one day at a time and they can take a lesson from you! You are a kind soul.
This is such a lovely plot of land and such a sweet home. And it's literally ready to go for animals. It would be great if the new owners let you come back in 2 years to see what they've done to it. Keep up the hard work bud!!!!!
Cheers dude!
The pain when you get something in your eye will go away. A friend of mine was working as a dentist and drilling an old filling and doing it without safety glasses. The flying dental filling that hit his eye damaged it to the point that he is now blind in that eye. You don't get a second chance. I ALWAYS wear eye protection! It sends shivers down my spine when I see someone working without safety glasses.
I would love to live in that place. It’s simplicity and art at its finest. It was built with love. Thank you. Keep well in health and spirit.
Thanks so much ❤️
I like living in England so wouldn't want to live in Portugal but this property would be my dream place for living a simple life.
@@marks-0-0 me too!
Theo, I'm impressed with your artisans heart & talent. I've been away from you & Bea's for a time. I'm happy to be back. I'll be catching up on all that I have missed. I'm extatic to her that Bea is doing better. You are a wonderful couple. I've prayed for you often for you both. Blessings abundant to you always.
You guys put so much work into this barn/house that it would be a shame to leave it unfinished. I’m glad to see you’ll be seeing this project through.
Dear sweet Bee and Theo, you are such a lovely, bonded couple, and both so full of strength!! God Bless all of your days!!😊❤
This property is an absolute dream. Hoping the next family here lives here for many happy years.
The front door semi circle would be perfect in bluestone. Does Portugal have bluestone? Or is that only a EasternCanada/New England thing?
Theo you are best "pointer' of everyone! I am still loving the beauty of the stones in your barn.
Oh my gosh! I remember back when you first started working on this place! I thought, how could this ever be made livable? But then the two of you got to working and working! It came out so perfect! Loved when you put a skylight in the bedroom ceiling. And the flooring that you both worked on so painstakingly hard. And that beautiful door! Now the cute kitchen will soon be done! LOVE IT ALL!!
As for the entry way.....I think whatever you both decide, it will be as great as everything else you've done! Just make sure it's not of a material that is slippery when wet.
Bee, I hope you're feeling better, and I love the outfit you had on today!!
Love all your videos!!
Joyce in Palm Coast, Florida
Definitely tile the half circle at the entry. Everything else is so beautifully done you just can't leave that area less than equally lovely. If you use small tiles on sheets, it won't take that long.
Theo you are a chill man. One day at a time and when you can’t finish today it will be completed tomorrow.
Great attitude to have.
Bee I hope you are feeling better, and enjoying the animals and walks.
I love this property and Bee n Theo you have done a wonderful job saving it for future generations.
If anyone hasn’t seen the videos of this build do yourself a favor and go watch them.
The new owners will be so delighted by the workmanship you and Bea have put in to this property. Thanks for the update.
What an absolute score of a property for whomever ends up buying it! I remember how everything looked before you guys started any work on it. This place went from a grey and brown, dried and overgrown grass with a roofless, floorless, filthy, abandoned barn, to an absolutely stunning and unique 2-floor house nestled in a vibrant and fruitful piece of land sprinkled with a lovely variety of beautiful points of interests and activities to enjoy and grow into! Bravo to the both of you! Your labour of love will pay off handsomely I'm sure!
Flat rock in the entrance or tile maybe? Your consistent drive for the work, multiple skills, attention to detail & magnetic, welcoming personalities, make the Indie Projects videos exceptionally enjoyable for me. I think you are naturals as teachers, quite the twosome! I like the music accompanying, too.
Thank you so much ❤️
OMG forgot how amazingly beautiful the off grid property is. Can't wait to see it all finished. Amazing couple, ❤
The small arch at the entrance of the door is a pretty accent to the floor. I would fill it with cement and press in pretty stones spelling welcome or pressing in beer bottle or wine bottle glass bottoms or even coins. Something whimsical would add to the charm of your home. I have seen cement floors with leaf imprints which is gorgeous. After a quick seal of clear epoxy and you have an entrance to welcome all your guests. Just ideas that won't break the bank.
I watched all the hard work y'all did. I miss that place. Hopefully it will sell quickly. I remember the eye problem. That was a brutal thing to go through. Be safe and don't over do it. Take care of your health. Things will get done.
It feels like you & Theo are family. I’ve been with you both since you bought the property & improved it! Seems like years ago, yet seems like yesterday. Thanks for taking us along on your life journey.🥰
I’m glad you’re bringing closure to this project ! Thanks for bringing us along to help you end this chapter.
It’s really lovely to see this property again. You two really did amazing work on it and I hope the sale pays off big time for the work you’ve done
Thanks so much!
Sad to see it go! Someone will be really lucky to buy it! You did a beautiful job!
Thank you!
I have been watching since the beginning and was so excited each week to see this beautiful cabin evolve into a most beautiful home. Pick some very special people to buy it. Someone who appreciates what you two did with so much love and attention!
Morning, first time watcher here. Weird question.. did we once have a meeting in Barranco beach? I’m sure I recognise you both from my full timing days. Did you used to be van dwellers? You are so familiar! ETA - full of admiration for what you are doing here. I always imagined settling down somewhere in Portugal but my Celtic blood couldn’t cope with the heat. You’re pretty amazing the both of you. Looking forward to seeing more of what you’ve done. ❤
We definitely could have met there as we’ve been to pretty much every beach in Portugal when we lived in our van ☺️ thanks for tuning in!
Just love the spark in your beautiful eyes Bea! …love the jumper suit too. You are such a good dresser, always so stylish❣️ There is no one like your Theo❣️ ☮️💟🇨🇦.
I’d forgotten how gorgeous this property was. The A frame chicken coop is my favourite part! Looking forward to more.
The off grid property is looking stunning this time of year and with all the work you’ve both done. I’m constantly amazed at the quality of your work Theo, you really are an artist. This took me back to all the pointing videos and watching just how much effort you put in and how it’s worth every second, absolutely stunning. Hope you’re feeling better by now Bee, great to see you so happy and your vibrant self again. You really are an inspiration ❤
The pointing work on back of barn is so pretty. It is like looking at lace tablecloth.
Stones in a half starburst shape for the entry would look nice. Also maybe consider putting in a full size fridge or leaving room for one? Whomever buys this property is so lucky, everything done well & SO thoughtfully by 2 lovely people.
I’m so happy that you are showing us the finishing up of the off grid property. I started following you when you first came to Portugal and began working on the old barn. I couldn’t see your vision but believed in you and was not disappointed. The barn house is beautiful and I really want to see it completed. It is sad that you are selling but your miracle mountain property is so beautiful and has so much more potential. I’m looking forward to seeing all the projects you do on that property. It’s great to see Bea so happy and looking so healthy. I have been praying for you both. 😊😊😊
Bee, you are looking so beautiful and healthy! I hope that you're finding answers for Theo's back.
I think that a sunrise/sunset mosaic in the semicircle entrance would be gorgeous, but barring that, get some contrasting bricks or stone and set that into the entrance. Theo can surely find enough granite on the property, or buy some flat rough granite. He already knows how to do the stone work. P.S. Theo, you're doing a brilliant job on the off grid property. I know that when you two bought it you said that it wasn't your permanent home, but an investment property like the house in the city. That said, it will be a bittersweet moment for those of us who have watched you from your van life days until now to see that property sell. May you get everything that you have put into it and much more. Blessings and major props from the Texas Hill Country. 👋❤️🇺🇸🙏🙌
Was good to see my favourite off grid property whoever buys it will be very lucky as it was built with blood sweat tears and lots of love and a little sunburn 😊and will be ready to go
I love when you do the sped up video the sound of the fast work just brings a smile to my face … and Bea love that jumper
I have to say that it breaks my heart to not see that place anymore. I soooooo enjoyed watching Theos's attention to detail in all that he did. Bea it is so nice to have you back and healthy. I loved your garden. You two did a magnificent job on that place. I think tile in the entrance would look nice and break up the wood and stone that is already there.
Great effort you two and it’s so nice to revisit the original property. What a lovely home it’ll be for someone 🏡 💕
❤Theo, I have always enjoyed watching you finish the inside of the barn conversion in terms of the wood work, the floor and the plastered walls. They are a piece of art. The outside will be lovely when you have completed the pointing of the front and sides. All the changes are going to make someone be thankful how much effort and energy both you and Bee and put into the property and hopefully it will sell really quickly!
Oh Goodness! After following since the build of the van, it is so very wonderful to see Bee back! Not that I don't love Theo too, but Yay! Hopefully, there will be a wonderful someone to take over the property and continue the love!
The vision and the way you have changed this property really is amazing! What a beautiful transformation so far, I really, really have been waiting to see the final product!
you and Bea are an awesome team. I can't look at that beautiful house without remembering the old building and the massive boulder you had to break down!...all the love and care you put into every nook and cranny of that build, including the pretty tricky roofing! Nice going Theo..all power to you and.lots of love to Bea to get well soon x
Theo , do we see contractor in your future.? Managing projects all over Portugal? Your skill set is amazing. Bee , you have inspired so many people to get the necessary help in managing than lives. The support that you have given to each through out the years. Well ! That's special ! Wishing you guys all the best that life has to off. 🙏 Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Unfortunately the neredowells will always have their say but I have every faith in you Theo in your planning and capabilities. I didn’t realise how much I missed seeing the barn and the memories of you both working so hard to get it where it is today. If circumstances were different I could live there tomorrow. You certainly will have no problem selling it. It’s beautiful as are the surroundings. Take care both, keep safe and get well soon Bee. 💕 Dorset, UK
Really happy you are back finishing this home! To be honest, it felt very anticlimactic when you left and I totally understand life gets in the way and things change but it’s so nice seeing a conclusion to this part of your life! It was always such a pleasure watching your work.
I started to watch your videos at the beginning of the barn to tiny home conversion. Congratulations of the progress so far, nearly finished and all to a high quality building standard with both of you willing to work hard and study up on technique and materials to create an aestheically and technically perfect building. I was looking forward to your journey of continuing to live in the tiny house and tending to your crops and animals, interspersed with travels worldwide and bringing back tales and videos to allow me and the rest of your followers to live vicariously in rural Portugal and visit around the world. Hoever life had other directions for you both, and now you live on Miracle Mountain rather than at the tiny home. I do hope to see you eventually get off Miracle Mountain now and again (after all the pressing work of repairing the property is done) and continue to make videos of your travels. I know that it was most unfortunate that while you were in Canada the devastating fire happened. Please come again, I would love to see what your vision and videos uncover of the Canada where I live.
I don’t think y’all do drones but a drone shot the property would be awesome some day - thanks for the update of all the finishing touches!
So nice to see the off-grid property again. So glad you have moved as you did, and I can't wait to see the finished barn conversion.
You look radiant Bee , so glad you are better. Hope Theo is feeling better too.❤❤❤❤❤. I so love this property. It will make a young couple a lovely home. Wish I was younger iunfortunately I wouldn’t make it up the steps.
I enjoyed every part of your journey on this precious barn house and beautiful property.
❤️
So happy you have healed an i wish you health not any other problems. Theo deserve a medal for such a great caregiver. Pleas Tile the entrance. Bring the outside in with tile colors.
Great that you could realize your dreams for the offgrid property.❤
So happy that you are so much better. It was the best decision I ever made for my health.
Wishing you great success in completing this lovely home the two of you created. Been watching since you took the trip over. What a journey you’ve been on. So many hills and valleys, laughter and tears. But always with the love and support of each other. I sure hope your lovely Bee feels better soon. And you take care of yourself as I understand you have some health issues as well. Love your energy thanks for letting us join you 👵👋🥰🇨🇦
My GOODNESS! WHAT A LOVELY job you have done to the barn makeover! I can surely see that you both have wonderful tastes and are 'very' able to do the tasks before you. The new owner will be blessed to have come upon a 'turn key' home that was 'lovingly' worked by both you Theo and sweet Bea! Thanks 4 sharing with us...health and blessings! :) P.S. I would like a tile or stone entry piece of work meeting the beautiful wood floors of the barn/home = my take!
Theo,Bee nice seeing Both of you I love you Both and your Animals to.Good Job what you did on the Barn House. And on the Yard to keep up all the great Work you Both do.And Bee Please take it easy and please feel better and get better.❤. You,and Theo, and all your animals to.keep up all good Work Like always.Love Grandma Raquel.🤗.
I love the integrity you both have on finishing all the little things before you sell this beautiful property . Cheers and wishing Bee a speedy recovery 🤗❤
The renovation videos brings me back to lockdown! Helped my boredom
Tile the entrance semi-circle. Nice clean finish that will match the level of work done on the rest of the house.
If I could get my husband to move from Minnesota, I would love to buy your lovely home!! I watched from the beginning & your work is above and beyond most❤❤❤
This was why I became a subscriber! I see familiar nooks and crannies that I followed to how they look now. Welcome back home you two lovebirds! I missed you both.
Aw thanks!
Sending all our love and respect from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. England, followed you guys from day one and enjoyed every minute, so happy to see bea doing well , you're an amazing couple xxx
Love and hugs to you both. Grandma in Republic of Ireland Love videos
If I were much younger, I would love to own this charming barn. I have watched your hard work to transform it into what it is today. I am certain that all the work you have put in has been done flawlessly, with integrity and care. The new owners will appreciate being able to settle in immediately, spared from the many hours of hard work you both undertook. I hope Bee is feeling better.
I am so glad you are showing us finishing the barn. I have wondered about it and was disappointed we didn't see it. At the front door, I would just leave it. Let the new owner decide.
Every time you show off grid place remind me of my childhood home growing up in Amador/ Calaveras County in California.
That off grid property is so so wonderful! It is going to make someone very happy. You can see all of the hard work that has been put into the property.
Glad your both well! Your entryway at the stone cottage would look amazing with a granite leathered semicircle in place. Any countertop company should be able to cut that for an exact fit.
So proud of you, Theo. Kudos!
1) For wearing your safety glasses (always) and;
2) For not being overwhelmed. Good job. Keep on keeping on with the beauty & inspiration that is your life;
3) For being in a loving, supportive partnership with Bee.
You both rock. Speaking of which, I love all you're doing with the rocks & future rock garden as well as the fire pit. You're brilliant. Just brilliant.
All my love,
~Marirose NH USA ❤️💚🤍🖤🕊️
Woaw, Bea, you look absolutly amazing! I don't know if it a consequence of the surgery but you look great! (physically and mentally). Happy for you!
I love that house that you converted from a barn. My goodness, I remember what it looked like in the beginning, what a huge change.
A lot of productive work to make the off-grid property look so nice and the View is gorgeous. Thank you ❤ Bee for being so open & honest about your journey, it is going to help many, many, many people.
Seeing this Property, the off grid property is just so wonderful, the effort, the attention to detail and the love put into it is the main reason I am soooo Excited to see you bring Miracle Mountain back to life. It was such heart break for me and I am sure your many fans when you showed us the videos of the fire and floods. I was gutted, but I know, given what the Off Grid Property became it shall be spectacular and I just cannot wait to see it all unfold with your thoughtful care. Great to see the ole' land getting her love.
props for Theo with all that's on his shoulders - woop! woop! :)
This property is an absolute dream in my opinion.
Fair play to you both for going full circle on the off grid property ! Bee you look fantastic !! Looking forward to seeing the closure of this chapter and the stone house chapter opening on miracle mountain !! you both continue to push and inspire me to do a project whole hearted rather than just for the sake of it !!
Keep Going team Indie!
Don't forget to update us on the shed Theo's building on the mountains
Front entry - cork, exposed concrete or mosaic. Which is basically grout with broken bits of left-ofters - tiles, plates, etc, stuck into it like a patchwork quilt!
You guys are doing a trojan of a job... 1st class work... keep'em coming... Love this channel
Such a joy revisiting this amazing project.
Your beautiful work will be a joy to behold for generations to come.
I envy the family that will acquire this property.
I'm glad you are both doing well. And I know anything you set your mind to do you will do it very well. Continue on your journey, and we'll keep watching.
Hi Theo it all looks great and you most certainly look to me like you have it altogether. There are nothing but smiles on both your faces and if you were overwhelmed I don't think I would see this :)
To be totally honest you and Bea should be so very proud of all you have achieved. The fact that your selling the off grid property be also want to finish what you started is a testament to you both, your are truly following your dreams so don't allow idiots to both you.
Thanks so much for showing me the inside of your beautiful off grid property. I watched with great interest from start to finish, your attention to detail was amazing, it was well worth the effort. JUST LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL IT LOOKS. I'm very sure it will be snapped up as soon as you put it on the market! Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
This is the first time I've actually heard a real cuckoo bird in its natural environment. What a treat, and thanx for sharing it Theo.
The one thing that would've been an absolute blessing, IMHO is a garage or carport for the vehicles. It will also be a huge selling point out there in the horrendous heat of Portugal. The climate appears to be much the same as ours here in S.E. Queensland Australia. For this reason, I hope the car port/ garage is still on the agenda.
Great comment Theo, in asking people to keep their stress levels to thenselves. I've asked people on many channels to do this, as I , like you, don't see the need for people to project their insecurities & stress onto other folks. It's great to see how organised & well planned out you are in approaching these last pieces of tidying up the property for selling. I truly hope & pray people listen to your request and obey it for your sake, Theo. Folks by now, should be aware of how meticulously you plan and organise your jobs and life. So please folks, respect Theos request, and keep your comments positive and uplifting; keeping all YOUR insecurities & stress TO YOURSELVES..... THEO and BEE DON'T NEED IT !!!!! THEY have it well under control 👍👌👏👏YAAAAAAAAAY can't wait to watch the next instalment of preparing the off-grid property for the"FOR SALE" sign 🎉🎉🇦🇺🤗🙏💞✌️👍👌👏✝️🇵🇹
Lovely looking property, you have done a beautiful job. You should get a good price.
I'm so glad Bee is feeling better! Thanks for the update!! You may have said it a way back, but what happened with the cool property you guys bought in town? Never thought that Theo didn't have everything under control!!! It's a lot to be sure, but you seem really good at compartmentalizing things!! All the best to you both!!!!!
Omgoodness, my darlings, having watched your progress on your off grid property over the last years, I'm so glad to see everything again!
Brings back many memories!
Well done, my darlings, I'm so proud of you both!
❤❤
You’re a poet Theo.
Bee good health suits you no end.
This barn conversion stole my heart.
The amount of work you both put into this place
was truly awesome.
I remember the huge bolder inside and the brambles covering the outside.👏💖🇮🇪
Amazing so glad we get to see the final piece of this story. It’s been a long journey, the new owners are going to love this place xx
Leave that entrance part alone let the new folks who ever they will be have that pleasure. Make it their own! 😊
I loved these Vlogs so much and have followed you both since Covid. I was so disappointed when you moved to the new property. It was so magical watching you transform a broken down barn into an adorable tiny home. Miracle Mountain doesn't have the same charm, it's way to big and not as interesting as this quaint little property. Maybe you could think about making it a Bed and Breakfast rental where people could come and stay for a week or two and enjoy a small mini off the grid living experience for a short term stay. I think you might get top dollar. It's just so adorable... I will miss seeing it if it is sold. So glad for the update. Good luck with everything.
Love you both, God Bless
Theo, you do the best pointing I have ever seen! Others, need to see your technique (talent) to learn from. Bea, thank you for going over all the bumps, mountains that you and Theo had encountered. You're both incredible, how you manage to hang in there for all of this, for all these years. I love your desires to finish the off grid homestead as complete. This is so exciting for all of us. Everything you both do, you do with your artistic & professional skills. You both ROCK!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
As much as I love Miracle Mountain, I adore the off grid property. I, like many of us, would very happily live here. Not just because of the property itself but because of of the deeply intentional way you have created the infrastructure. Such thought and care have gone into every detail. I have immensely enjoyed the journey of both of you and this property. 'm not sure if I have missed an update on your health challenge Theo but I pray your are doing well. Sending much love to two of my favorite humans.
Theo you are incredibly talented!! It is always a pleasure seeing you and Bee!!!continued prayers and love for yas!!! Thank you for sharing ❤😊
