Ha! You'll never guess where we were last weekend (early Oct, '21) Site 39, J.C. Cooper Campground, Satterwhite Point, Kerr Lake State Recreation Area, NC. You had to be on Site 40 when you were at Kerr Lake in the summer. We were freaking out going... is that our site??? Just like you we got it at the last minute. You guys are fun; love your videos.
@@AmpedtoGlamp Hey neighbor! We like the campground and will likely return there. We will happily take site 39 or 40 anytime; I loved the sound of the lake at night. We live in Raleigh, NC -- an hour+ away. This was our second trip to Kerr Lake. You might expect that we found your video because we camped at Kerr Lake and were looking for related videos. Not the case! I subscribed to your channel under a different account two or three weeks ago. Your Kerr Lake video appeared as a recommended video a few days ago. There are multiple RV campgrounds around the lake and at least hundreds of camp sites. What are the odds? 😀
@@MultiMatty56 We found a temporary fix to the air and slide problems. Vid is coming but we wanted to verify with precision circuits that it is indeed a proper fix. Don't want to show our viewers something that is not good for their rv. Just happy we were able to get our GA trip in. 😊 Now to figure out how to season the blackstone properly. Thanks so much for your continued support of our channel.
I agree on the State Parks, here in SE Michigan, Mondays thru Thursdays normally no problem finding open sites. They will fill up Fridays and the weekends and on holidays. Where you putting the Black Stone, which storage bay?
We are finding open spaces even on the weekends. In fact, we just reserved a spot for Memorial Day weekend yesterday. 😊 John keeps the Blackstone in the second compartment bay on the passenger side. It folds up quite nicely.
Tbh my Blackstone never looked perfect when I seasoned it either, But that sucker still cooks like a champ! Y'all should check out North Bend on Kerr Lake as well. It's our favorite federal park.
Thanks! Glad to know it will still cook well! And we will definitely check out the North Bend. I see lots of trips to Kerr Lake in our future! Thanks so much for stopping by. Safe and happy travels!
Beautiful....love going there several times a year. Now with more people posting it sells out a year in advance. We live 50 minutes away and cant get a spot this year or last year . Why we dont tell everyone. :)
Love are black stone but I closed the lid on high temperature hope it works safe travels from Rick and Pam from southern Ohio at Big Bear Creek family campground
For seasoning the grill it will take some time and high temp. Blackstone also sells a better oil to blacken it faster. Personally I used grapeaeed oil and high temps to get mine seasoned.
Hi Frank. 👋 The AC hasn't been fixed yet. We just found a way to temporarily reboot the system to get it working. We have a video that shows the quick fix but didn't want to put it out there until we checked with Precision Circuits. Don't want to share an incorrect method of fixing. Look for it later this week.
Kerr Lake was so beautiful! Can't wait to get back! Check it out if you can.
Lake front lot, so awesome. OOOOHHH & papa got a new grill too! Bonus!....lol.
Oh yeah! It was great! John got the new tow but I think I'll be doing most of the cooking on it. 🤪 Time to look up some recipes. Happy travels!

Nothing better than that 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks George! We love the water and this was a great park!
I'm going to be going soon. It's a tradition for my family to go every summer. I've been going since I was born. I'm so excited.
Have fun! It's an awesome campground!
@@AmpedtoGlamp thank you! I can't wait!
For the benefit of the MAN'S club you have to throw the instructions over your left shoulder! But not too far away 🤣🤣🤣✊🏽
Looks like your RV issues have taken a back seat.

HI Rick and Pam 👋 We are going to try and re-season. I'll try using the lid next time. Thanks for the tip! Happy travels!

loved the view.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching. Kerr Lake was amazing and we can't wait to get back and spend more time. Safe and happy travels to you! 😊
Did you guys get the rv fixed. Nice motor home and a great life style. Enjoy
Not yet! We've found a temporary fix. Headed up to Fleetwood for repairs in Sept. Thanks for watching! 😊
What was the problem with you AC? Hope it was repaired. SAFE TRAVELS
