Really nice video! I really like your tent and setup. That stove is so cute! I visited Northbend in May and was so mesmerized by how beautiful it is! All of the lakeview sites are stunning and each unique with beautiful views. My campsite was right on the beach and loved it! I went on a weekend, so much of the campground was pretty full, so weekdays are probably calm and quiet. Oh, and as for the hard ground, I've also experienced having a tough time with using the larger 'heavy duty' stakes as well - so now I bring an assortment of different sized stakes just in case. Thanks for watching! One of my metal stakes got bent while I was camping 🙄. Yes the week days was much more calmer then the weekend. North Bend is my new favorite place to camp. I just need to get more rope to help tie the tent to the trees when I can't get the stakes in the ground.
@@thetravelouscrew If you like Northbend, you might also enjoy First Landing State Park in VA Beach. It has a really nice beach area with calm waters since it is on the bay side. Also, each campsite is very unique.
@@cre8iveworks For Mother's day this year I camped at First Landing State Park. I love it there it's beautiful with awesome amenities. The laundry was great 👍🏾. I need to upload my vlog about that trip. I did show a quick "short" yesterday share my sister's tent.
@@thetravelouscrew Yes, I just enjoyed my 2nd visit at First Landing and I plan to visit again to do more kayaking off the shoreline. It’s such a beautiful area - and I just learned that Kiptopeke is another great park with a beach and kayaking right that’s just across the chesapeake bay bridge. I’m just glad I discovered these spots before the fall season sets in to enjoy the water before it gets too chilly.

You probably could but I would check the website to see if it would fit. Both of my tents are 13ft
