Ok I’m lost for words because who knew this existed in Va?! This is the best way to learn of other campgrounds by watching other campers. I’ve never heard of this place but there are many more I haven’t discovered. Between Maryland & Va, you can’t go wrong. I love your set up! I have a 3 day camp next month in Maryland at Greenbrier State Park so I plan on have a nice kitchen set up. I just hate the set up & tear down. Wish I could just blink & it’s all done 😂

I’m straight up binge watching 😂. I love group camping, I’m trying to find my tribe to do this with. For a moment the beach area looked like Kerr Lake. This type of camping makes me want to only find campgrounds with lakes but I know I would be missing out on so much more.

Geat video! It looks like you and your family had a great time! I love your tent and that spacious gazebo! This is by far one of my favorite places to camp. I just stayed a week at Kiptopeke earlier this month. Had an awesome time kayaking, biking the trails up to the overlook spots and enjoying the beach. I hear you on choosing between electricity over more privacy. I definitely will typically choose an electric site on most occasions, however, for this park, I stayed in the more wooded area and packed a gas stove for cooking and a 1000 watt battery bank to keep the fridge and electronics powered for a week stay. It works great for me, but may not be ideal for large families or if you're cooking a lot and using various appliances. Love your videos and thanks for sharing!

I use the zippered beauty pouches to organize smaller things. The ones designed for men's toiletries are much bigger for the same price. At this time I have one that holds mini cooking utensils and another for power chords for different things. Most of the mini utensils were also purchased from the Dollar Tree. I have a smaller zippered pouch filled with first aid supplies which were of course picked up there as well. I also purchase lighters and various kinds of wipes from the Dollar Tree. They have something for almost every body part; from hands and face to bottom and whole body; as well as surface cleaning wipes. They are the perfect size as a full size versions of these will take up a lot of space, and may dry out before using them all.

Great video. The hook at the top of the shower can also be used for the shower head for various systems shower systems. The system system have shower heads, hoses, and a hot water heater to heat the water.

The water cubes hold 5 gallons. A smidge (doesn't take much) of bleach and water should kill the mold. I've found a wok, a bamboo steamer and a roll of parchment paper is a very versatile setup that's easy to clean up. I don't care for the double ended flatware as when you flip it, it can drip down the handle and get your hand sticky.

Dilute some vinegar. Vinegar is both plastic safe (bleach isn’t it will eventually eat through plastic especially a soft foldable plastic) and it’s harmless to people/animals. It’s just as good as bleach in terms of mold killing and as a disinfectant of germs

Really nice video! I really like your tent and setup. That stove is so cute! I visited Northbend in May and was so mesmerized by how beautiful it is! All of the lakeview sites are stunning and each unique with beautiful views. My campsite was right on the beach and loved it! I went on a weekend, so much of the campground was pretty full, so weekdays are probably calm and quiet. Oh, and as for the hard ground, I've also experienced having a tough time with using the larger 'heavy duty' stakes as well - so now I bring an assortment of different sized stakes just in case. Thanks for sharing!
