Geat video! It looks like you and your family had a great time! I love your tent and that spacious gazebo! This is by far one of my favorite places to camp. I just stayed a week at Kiptopeke earlier this month. Had an awesome time kayaking, biking the trails up to the overlook spots and enjoying the beach. I hear you on choosing between electricity over more privacy. I definitely will typically choose an electric site on most occasions, however, for this park, I stayed in the more wooded area and packed a gas stove for cooking and a 1000 watt battery bank to keep the fridge and electronics powered for a week stay. It works great for me, but may not be ideal for large families or if you're cooking a lot and using various appliances. Love your videos and thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your kind words! I stayed in the wooded side before and I do enjoy the privacy. However when camping with a group especially young kids it’s much easier to have the electric site. Kiptopeke is such an awesome state park for all ages.
Ok I’m lost for words because who knew this existed in Va?! This is the best way to learn of other campgrounds by watching other campers. I’ve never heard of this place but there are many more I haven’t discovered. Between Maryland & Va, you can’t go wrong. I love your set up! I have a 3 day camp next month in Maryland at Greenbrier State Park so I plan on have a nice kitchen set up. I just hate the set up & tear down. Wish I could just blink & it’s all done 😂
@@andavis1870 😆me too! Kiptopeke State Park is one of my favorite campgrounds. I love the beach and it's much cheaper then getting a hotel each time we want to go to the beach which is multiple times a year.
