Fun fact about languages 1.basque is the only europeon language not related to any other language, 2.there's a Mexican language that's endangered of dying out because the 2 remaining speakers are refusing to talk to each other, 3.the most translated bok is the Bible.4.south Africa is the country with the most languages with 11. 5.theres a language in botswana that contains 5 different types of clicks
I still find it incredibly interesting about like Basque being isolated from all the others. I believe the same is true for Albanian which is also in Europe but not in a family, and Greek too. What's crazy about South Africa's languages too is that there are probably hundreds of native ones spoken (but I could be wrong), just that 11 of them are official status. It's cool stuff really to dissect
Techically South Africa is the country with the most official languages but as far as I know Papua New Guinea has over 4000 spoken languages but they are in minority.

Tara Strong (voice actress of Ben from Ben 10) speaks at least 13 languages: English, Hebrew, Russian, Scottish, Afrikaans, Bikol Central, Chavacano de Zamboanga, Malayalam, Occitan, Pangasinan, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, and Scots. She is also able to speak phonetically in Yiddish.

fun fact the Kurdish version is an illegal dub that aired on TV, they're a TV company that takes other TV shows without permission of the copyright holder, dubbed it and aired this on live TV.

As far as I know, there is no slovene version of the show. The "slovene" version on your video is actually a second Serbian dub. There are two Serbian dubs, one that aired on Ultra TV and another on TV Happy, both of which are Serbian-owned channels. The Ultra TV version is different from the Croatian version while TV Happy directly uses the Croatian lyrics but with a different singer. I also know this because I found episodes of both versions and the voices are different when comparing the two

In my opinion czech is the best, but the other languages are amazing too. I never realized that too many countries dubbed the opening. Love it!!!
I was very surprised to hear all of the other dubs for this song. Growing up it was one of my favorite opening themes overall so it's nice to hear them in over like 30 languages. Czech is definitely in my favorites personally

I was also amazed to find out that they had made a Bengali version of this, let alone the theme song too! It sounds amazing honestly and I'd love to hear more dubs from that country. I also agree that Arabic was great too, and I like it a bit more than English (my own version) to an extent here lol

Oh hey! It's nice seeing you comment here again lol. I'm glad that you uploaded the second version of the voice-over and I wasn't aware of there being two versions either so this is pretty interesting. Were there like differences in the lyrics?

1 line. Like besides the intonation being actually the first version of it.
And the difference in lyrics is:
V1: Затова недей се изненадва ти, ако при среща в извънземно пред очите ти се въплъти.
V2: Затова недей се изненадва ти, ако в извънземно пред теб се въплъти.
I sometimes confuse ''за това'' (for this) with ''затова'' (because/that's why) because it's like the Portuguese ''porque/por que'' which has many variants, depending of the context which makes it so confusing even for natives. 😂
No wonder why sometimes Bulgarian and Portuguese are so similar.
Sadly this voice-over dub is mostly lost and it's quite hard to find all the episodes. I mean I barely even found S.1 of this. And also S.4 (most of the dubbed version is lost too sadly). Btw do you plan to update this one?

I find it funny too how they have the variants of the same word like in Portuguese, and people have commented that this language feels like Portuguese in that sense 😂 It's unfortunate that this other voice-over is mostly lost though, but I'm amazed you got all the information on these and their lyrics too! Really good work haha. And yeah I do plan on updating this video (possibly some point soon, like in coming months) as there'd be these versions to include as well as other things, right? I think it'd be a good idea to update this video

It's funny that they translated the number in "Ben Ten" to "Ben Zehn" in German version :D the same in Latin Spanish.

Fun fact: in Polish dub Ben is actually voiced by a kid and not by a woman like in American version. Also: he voices Ben in all series. They didn't replace him, he just grew up.

Have you noticed that some of the dubs have a different instrumental track compared to the original, especially the Chinese and Arabic versions?
I've noticed that as well, it seems like they did their own instrumental tracks that were different from the original song in those versions, and it's very noticeable how it made the songs sound quite different in that regard honestly

Slovene here is not Slovene because it sounds absolutely the same to the Croatian version, only the voices are different. These are very different languages and they cannot sound the same. Therefore these are just two different Croatian versions because "the universe" is "svemir" in Croatian and it can be heard in the song; in Slovene "the universe" is "vesolje"
Thanks for noting this. Tbh I was kinda suspicious of the Slovene version existing, although given this it does sound more like another version of Croatian. I suspected it'd be Serbian also but I don't think they had more versions. I'll correct this in the description btw
@@AsapToastyysDubs Serbian and Croatian are, over against, almost the same language, they only differ in some words (Croatian has had a lot of language purism as opposed to Serbian) and syntax things, however they always have different dubs and sometimes there is even a separate Bosnian dub. :þ I am not able to tell these three apart, to be honest. I think there could be a dubbed "Ben 10" Slovene opening which aired on "Kanal A"

Btw I think it's time to update this one as well. There are few new versions which are missing:
Bulgarian (voice-over) - 2 versions (which I already said)
Serbian has another version that has the same lyrics as Croatian except only 3 words are different. The Slovene version is actually the second Serbian version. There is no Slovenian dub of this.
And the new versions are Malayalam (Team Kochi) and Kannada. However the Malayalam Surya TV is lost.
There is also Lithuanian voice-over version.
I think that's a good idea as well to update this video too, and alongside the PJ Masks theme song update which I'm also working on currently as well. I'm glad you listed all of the new dubs and other versions too, some of these I didn't know about like the other Serbian version with similar Croatian lyrics, I'd want to check these out haha and also yeah I'd have to make the correction about the Slovene mistake also, that's important to note. I'm glad to see there's Malayalam and Kannada, Lithuanian voice-over even as well and this will be helpful to know for the updated version
