    Had a pair of mk1 10ft scopes and at the time they were the rage. Best thing since sliced bread so Nash made out... 2 seasons they lasted. Reel set has gone on one and the other rod has a snapped tip after playing a angry common to the net. Haven't brought anything from Nash since after that disappointing mistake of going with scopes. I've since replaced the rods with sonik extractors and iam afraid they seem a much better build than the scopes.

    • @OfficialNashTackle
      @OfficialNashTackle  7 месяцев назад +1

      That's not right at all Barry, sorry to hear about your experience.
      Would your tackle shop help out or did you get hold of customer services?
      Honestly, Alan has been abusing these rods for years and they've not let him down, even taking them to Thailand to TRY and break them.
      Solid honest fishing gear is what we pride ourselves on, we're anglers ourselves at the end of the day.

    • @barryingram31
      @barryingram31 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@OfficialNashTackle well I wasn't best pleased with the outcome at the time .. I did take them to my local tackle shop to see if they could help but they said it wasn't possible to fix them. I did try sourcing a spare tip section but nothing came up. I must have been unlucky for them to give up and I know the stresses that Alan has put them thur. I watch your vids alot. The catching a shark on them sold me.. hence why I got a pair. Just unfortunate they didn't last there time. And way to expensive to replace as they took a fair while to save up for being a family man. Penny's are tight as you probably aware. Maybe in the future I might try another pair but iam not rushing. This wasn't a txt to shame Nash in any way just my experience with scopes arnt the greatest so I had to say something. 👍🎣

    UV Line strait in the basket when available + UV head torch.
    I’d love to see a Scope Jacket (full zip) version of the Scope smok please?
    The Scope bibs are fantastic, but sent the smok back as it’s a nightmare over the bibs to wear and really need a full open zip version to go with the bibs..
    “Bibs on, jacket unzipped to make use of bibs and give it that “police man stance” keeping your hands warm..if you know what I mean!
    Then when it’s chucking it down you can zip up..
    Plus the bibs and smok are impossible if you need a quick poo! 💩 😂

    A Sinking braid at 0.20 for 20lb, what is its real diameter please.
    Rod locks, is the second stage manual or automatic opening when lifting the rods?
    Thanks

    • @OfficialNashTackle
      @OfficialNashTackle  8 месяцев назад +1

      The 20lb is 0.20mm but please note this is its linear strength, if fishing particularly testing waters it could be worth going up a breaking strain or two.
      On the continent people have often ignored breaking strains and simply buy based on diameter.
      The second stage is manual, it's a simple flick to release.
      Making it automatic defeated the point a little bit, these are for the snaggiest of situations and are solid!
      Thanks for the comment, hope this helps
