I am from Argentina !! I've been following you for a couple of weeks. Your Channel content is really interesting and 100 % suitable for Spanish speaking countries!! have you thought about translating some of your videos into Spanish? Think about it, you could get plenty of followers there. Good luck and success!!
All I have to say to those is for those of you who thumbs down a podcast video, I applaud you for having the time to not only click on that button... but to watch all 90 mins of the podcast. You have some great time management. (Not really) Love ya, Matt.
Saw a 10 second clip of those during one of your other videos, had an instinct that the full conversation would be interesting. Now I’ve taken so much from this that all I can say is wow. Thank you for this.
The Nate Green interview is probably one of my favorite podcast interviews of all times. So many things he said were clear, wise and helpful. I have ordered the book, seven habits of a highly effective teen, for my 11 year old son who is a great kid but there is always time for a good read to consider and discover effective and intentional ways of living especially at such a formative age. Thanks Matt keep up the coffee grind, from a tea drinker. X
This is a bit random, but I would LOOOOOVVVEEEE if you did a minimalist guide to file storage. You talk about staying organized and having a good work flow with your computer files. I think it would be so great if you could do something like that. Just a thought 😬
Strange how everyone kept commenting, criticizing and even demoralizing Becca Shern because of the Fry in her voice, when she was invited to the podcast. But when it comes to this guy, it becomesthe most beautiful thing in the world.
This man needs to tell every personal trainer I've ever seen that the goal is to ask questions and lead the client to solve their own issues, not just toss out arbitrary programs with little-to-no understanding about the 'why' behind what they are preaching. Edit: The 'one hour trial' idea is absolute gold. This is also the only podcast style talk I have ever bookmarked to watch later and take actual notes on.
Thank you for this, I'm 41 and I was really struggling with what to do with my year end bonus this year. Into a Roth IRA it goes 🤗thanks to both of you!
The fraze "I wanna be" should only be followed by the words "the very best, like no one ever was (to catch them all, is my real test. to train them is my cause - pokemon!)"
It amazes me how few views some of these podcasts get in comparison to your other/usual videos. I love the flow of information here. As a small business owner I took fsome keys points from this and I'm looking forward to much much more.
I think this is my favorite or at least one of my favorite episodes so far. So many great insights that have stick in me. My life is different from two weeks ago thanks to this. Again, thank you Matt for doing such an amazing work in doing this podcast
before may 24 this year i had a big bottle of coca-cola every single day and never had any water so on may 23 i suddenly wanted to try for atleast one year to only drink water for a full year no matter if it is a birthday or christmas or any other special day and still today almost 7 months after i have only been drinking water since may 24 and i love it and will never again drink any soda.
Love the concept of the balance between going extreme but also backing off. Hence the concept of there being a “season” for everything. Nate seems very genuine.Great podcast Matt. Keep it up!
This has really changed my perspective on how to tackle change, I love this part right at the start... “How confident are you that you can go to the gym 3 times a week? If the client answers anything, 7 / 10 or less, we shrink it. How about 2 days a week; mmmmm, how about 1 day a week? Oh, I could do that, that’s easy. So that’s the habit we start with. That’s the thing we measure for a month - are you consistently going to the gym once a week?” Thanks :) See more here - joshfrom.nz/index.php/2019/02/12/changing-habits-and-management-theory-and-beer-logs/
Such great advice...so rational. One of my fav episodes so far Matt, cheers! And I really like how you started the whole podcast with a hard-hitting question. Reels me in more than a basic introduction. Great job!
this podcast is so good! Matt you are one of the most inspiring and authentic individual I have ever found online. Thanks for being you and helping us out. Nate's work is so awesome too.
Wow. As a 19 year old college kid who doesn't want to go the traditional route, 47:11 sure as heck confirmed that that is what I want to do with my life, and the rest of the podcast showed me that I can find ways to make it happen. Thanks for the honest content, Matt.
LOVE YOUR PODCAST MATT! I would love to see some BTS like what you use to film the podcast, what mics you use, how you find guests, etc. Watching/ listening to your podcast and a few others over the past couple of months has inspired me to start my own so I would love to know what you use!
I never got on the Podcast hype, it wasn't interesting to me for some reason. But this was something I'm glad I listened to and actually learned from. Thank You!
you should make a guide on how to go from 'skinny to jacked', I have no idea man and you did it, both of you guys did, would be dope to see your perspective!
Personal experience: I'm never stuck cause I'm used to work hard constantly. After working a few month or even days on a demanding project I enjoy nothing more than my creative freedom, be it foto, video or making music. Takeaway: A little bit of creative block is laziness.
i appreciate this podcast. one of my biggest struggles is how to maintain a minimal approach while remaining active at the gym. i view the gym as convoluted alongside many of the supplements/"things" people do just to achieve certain results (ex: additional/external supplements). it's been a back-and-forth trying to find that seemingly nonexistent "minimal" perspective at the gym and when it comes to fitness. also, side note that i have never seen this nate green before in my life, but im just gonna comment that he is handsome.
That's the problem with me, I can't go against what people asked for hiring without feeling bad. Like that girl sending pictures of other foods ... I would have feel a crook and a fraud. I read tasks on an offert and if I don't have one of them I don't apply. I know a friend who pretend to be a cook and was hired in a restaurant as a sous chef. That piss me off because those people are for me like athletes on steroids, they cheat and feel ok with that. At least if the offert can said, hey if you are not fulfilling the tasks come in we will see. But I know it's my honesty problem, that is why I have problem with all my jobs, and passed girlfriends , I can't pretend, it 's the way I am unless I receive a lobotomy and be like a normal person and just cheat and think just about myself.
Hey Matt, great Video as always ;). I would have a question, what microfon and noice filter are you using to get the super clear audio? (or does anyone here know)
I don't think there's a point where you are always saying "no". You can be discerning, but part of being an expert (or "older brother friend") is sharing your expertise with others which includes people who are not providing a direct ROI. If you claim to be an expert without being open to saying "yes" more often than not, within reason, it seems hollow and like you've become too enamored with your own marketing. IDK, there's just something wrong with it for me.
Did one of us make the argument that you should say "no" to everything? That doesn't make much sense. Saying "no" to most things is appropriate when you read a certain point.
Hmmm... c'mon Nate. Don't have to cycle off creatine. Don't have to mix it with glucose. Take 5g a day. It can improve strength and hypertrophy. Love his approach to priorities though. Life stress, sleep and general nutrition and training is much more important than any supplement. And dude is on point about enjoying food/life. Most of the time is what matters. Not the odd occasion of kicking back enjoying the food you love that will make the difference.
I was really looking forwarding to listening, however Nate Green has extremely annoying Vocal Fry and it made it impossible for me to continue to listen.

I love this episode of the ground up show, it was really helpful and I'll definitely try and implement some of these techniques
Thanks! Thought you guys would like it.
I really appreciate what you're doing Matt, Nate too. You guys definitely have a big positive impact on the people. Thank you!
Few minutes in into the podcast, I was like.... "hmmm..i'll check his instagram later"
Then boom *I have no Instagram* haha.
Great podcast!

Excellent interview. And from a production standpoint, great camera and microphones.
i love listening to this, the whole podcast, its so good, i work really productively listening to this podcast, idk why, but i'm loving it.
His vocal fry is a bit distracting but I love this topic of breaking down the big piece. It's a reminder to not let perfect be the enemy of good. 👌🏽

Some really deep thoughts shared on the podcast.Very useful for young people starting out their careers. Thank you Matt and Nate!

Yep, the lead-in and music fade out is on point... I like it. Keep that path! Also, heading over to sign up for the course. Thanks, Man!
Just over 7 minutes in and I love this already!
Man this interview is so important
You are rokin it. Looking forward to your course and future content! Big thanks.
Love this episode. You had me hooked when he said Precision Nutrition. I have been a client and also took the coaching program

Love ur content, its been a motivation to help on my work.
Thanks for the podcast, made mowing lawns less crappy. Hope to brach off into my own business.
Fantastic work. Useful advice for all ages. (Small point; show notes item 3 should read “Pareto” principal.) More power to you.
I needed this. Even if I haven't watch it yet. 😀
I absolutely love these! Please do one with Cal Newport on Digital Minimalism if possible☺️☺️☺️
This was so insightful and helpful - another fantastic guest!
One of my favorite interviews. My take away is at least get started XD
Great interview! I hope you start this back up again soon.

I loved this episode the most. Great insight and looking forward to implement few of these tips.
Also Matt I love your videos. I have been binging on them. Thank you for the stellar content.
Early on, Nate spoke about things that I read in the book Mini Habits by Stephen Guise. Good stuff!
I will start changing by doing sports 10 minutes a day.I hope it will works 🍃
This video is incredible and so insightful, thank you!
Have you looked into putting your podcasts on Spotify?
the ground up show is already on spotify!
Great interview

I don’t comment often but I love your content 👌🏻
A very Good Podcast . Kinda Value Bomb.
Just ordered the 7 habits for teens book for a friend’s brother
so....on day 3, I feel like doing MUCH more. Do I stop myself & say NO & only do the tiny thing?

This was really good
Amazing!
Great great great episode, and Nate's voice...I'm almost blushing O:)

We all know why this video got recommended in 2021.
How many people have told you you sound like Ira Glass? Btw, that's a high compliment. ;)
Hey Matt, great Video as always ;). I would have a question, what microfon and noice filter are you using to get the super clear audio? (or does anyone here know)
I thought you hadn't ads on your channel.
very nice
Matt, how do I take the three-week course? Also, do you have any mentorship program (similar to Nate's) ?
Why do I feel like Nate looks like young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter
