Look at the Yul and May Edochie divorce case. Yul can refuse to sign the divorce papers for the next 10yrs if he wants in Nigeria. The courts are seem to be powerless.
Not signing the divorce papers is enough ground for divorce I would imagine because it is a display of irreconcilable differences. Marriage is a negotiated relationship, it is not a one sided contract. It cannot hold if one person says no.
When parents are fighting , the children should never take sides. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong. Separate them , solve the problem , but don't take sides. This what killed Malvin Gaye! The fight of parents should never be inherited by or transferred to the children
I think this is where Africa as a whole gets it wrong. What we should be saying is parents should NOT be putting children in a position to take sides. It is their duty to nurture children. Children are also not witnesses of Domestic violence, but the biggest victims of it. The other issue is Domestic Violence means all conventional family standards and titles have left the building. Its inhuman. Emeka was the first to drag the kids by saying on record that if we want to know if his ex wife is being abused we ask the kids. So this boy was following his father's instructions
The children will not get involved when it is affecting them. What was the father saying to his children, how did he treat them? This boy in question is over 22 years. He reconnected with his mother a few years ago. What caused that shift where he left his father's house, where, according to his parents' financial circumstances, he should be more comfortable. Only Emeka and the kids know what really happened in his house with his kids. What type of home environment did he provide to his kids? We were not there. I agree with Victoria about the type of feminism that has been imported to Africa/ promoted in Africa. I live in a private estate in the countryside in the UK counties. We live close to farms. In my area the children are so well behaved and the couples stay together for years! There are very few divorced couples in my area. A lot of families still have traditional roles. In fact in my child's school(private) most of the mothers don't work but I choose to work. We look out for each other and our children. We have weekend gatherings etc. The point is what happens in the counties/countryside is totally different from what's being imported to Africa. In addition our Christian faith underpins how we run our home, each person has their role but we help each other when required. I agree that feminism has no place in the home. Edited I want to stress that I don't condone violence. My comment is strictly in response to the feminism that has been imported to Nigeria. Feminism is about ensuring there is equity(a level playing field/fairness andimpartiality) not necessarily equality. Men for some reason generally do more of the risky jobs e.g Danfo drivers, conductors, police army, security guard etc. We women do less risky jobs e.g beauty, fashion, child care etc. I absolutely don't subscribe to oppression of any kind. As Victoria said, we should train our girls to be confident financially, emotionally etc. I am not blaming the wife at all. I'm more focused on preventing other ladies from suffering. To prevent suffering, MARRY THE RIGHT MAN and don't handover yourself cheaply to a man. This is mainly my focus. Where we live, honestly, the men would do anything for their wives and families, so would the wives. Everyone is working as a team, all respecting boundaries, roles and responsibilities.

Older woman I'm meant to say. You are also full of wisdom how deal or relate with a man. A good man can give such woman anything she want. Unfortunately, many if the women niw are days lacks wisdom.
They are the same but they are not equal, Even if the are equal they are not the same. 2+2=4 BUT 3+1=4 too. There are gender roles that none of them can do , this is not a competition
please can you speak of that statistical data that made you arrive at saying woman and man are equals. Think of it outside that feministic mindset and you will see that its really not a bad thing to agree that women and men are not equals
People must shut up n stop saying who is better than who cs we r not in their house or private life, a man cn behave at work but home is different n it not easy for women to convince people that she was abuse
Dadd6 frezz what do you mean by trust?, The problem is that most people don't respect each other's. Yes but some men are manipulator. They want to remote a woman, and make her totally submit, let's not pretend we don't know this things. some men will make the home totally miserable for the woman if she decides to work against his will, especially those insecure once.. Claiming men will go after her if she works, am not saying that it is right for a woman not to work, but how can a woman who wants peace of mind, and a peaceful home earn such man approval to work... no woman wants to go to work and come back to drama at home....

Before you leave your marriage, consider the faith of your children, their future, look at where those children are kept to the level of them rising against their dad, remember they will eventually go back to that family for that is where they belong. Unless the woman is working to hold the children forever so that the man looses all. Please there is he'll and there's heaven. We loved and respected our dad and knew he loved us so much. The trust made is listen knowing he only wanted the best for us. Today, no regrets. Thanks VI for your contributions.
Emeka, plz listen and make amends with your son. He is still young. He needs love and guidance from both his parents
Wow, aunty Victoria ooo. I remember 2009 when this woman give her pikin better slap for bank when he was misbehaving. How time flies, the boy is now 18yrs!!!
Only those who live in the UK amongst the traditional English people knows the truth that in marriage the women are really submissive and children very well behaved. What you see portrayed on TV is completely false.
This interview is not worth it..please put a stop to it..none is making sense
Why are women old Nollywood actresses defending Emeka. They tell us that he was nice, sweet and gentleman. Why women only ? What happened in the past between Emeka and these former actresses? We at seeing a monster here.
Na madness dey worry them...they probably slept with him while he was married to her.
Because you guys are talking emotionally without knowing the whole stories. All you guys know is about 1% of the whole situation.
@@thetruth6396what is emotions. In thier marriage, We're they leaving with them? Someone in marriage is crying people outside are saying it didn't happen. If she had died some people will abuse her for staying and dying, the man left married has children in other places, she is single yet what is the problem. You people when someone die why didn't she leave , they leave then its her fault. Sad people are seeing craziness in Emeka yet defending her
Because the are seeing the truth..please .why you guys are blinded
@@thetruth6396I bet you shared a room in their home and how you can tell that what the public know now is only 1% of the whole story right?
Before you ask the child to go to school do you pay child support because in the interview the ex wife said he doesn't pay any child support she is taking care of those children on her own. This woman his going through a lot
U know a oerson when u live witu a person. Been a colleague dies not mean u know that person well.
Well spoken Madam Victoria. and you have a very healthy self esteem to maintain calmness with the other antagonistic nature Lady there. @Daddy Freeze, dont say Father to son reconciliation without the mum(Suzanne ) in the picture oo! The children wont truly reconcile with their Dad if they dont see him sincerely make moves of peace with their mum. And honestly, thats when Emeka can truly have his children back. the woman went thro alot with him. we cant wish that away please. Cheers
Wow Victoria so right
Sister Victoria is gold! Her head di hear place plenty.
Edited
I want to stress that I don't condone violence.
Trust is earned
What this lady is saying is truth.
DADDY FREEZE PLEASE AND PLEASE INVITE DAVIDO TO THIS PLATFORM....LET HIM SHARE HIS EXPERIENCE AS WELL! HOW HIM AND HIS DAD CAME TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN HIM DOING MUSIC AND GOING TO SCHOOL.
Exactly.. My question is how many people will this daddy freeze interview on this matter…he interviewed Regina Askia who told him to allow this young man heal. People like this are why people never recover after issues..let the case rest..he will interview everyone and their mama in nollywood to get different opinions…allow the family to heal for crying out loud..everything shouldn’t be all about making money…go to his village too and interview the goat. We have learned the lessons that come out of it..man or woman try as much as you can to make your marriage work and if you cannot move on…we will keep litigating the matter until Jesus comes back…they made mistakes in their marriage as did daddy freeze, let them breathe…there are millions issues of corruption in Nigeria that are not making headlines like this.. our people have first class in gossip…look at the people dying in plateau as chicken yet we are here everywhere you open RUclips Emeka Ike Emeka Ike..what a lost generation.
This is the first person that has looked that this matter correctly. Others are sentimental cos Emeka paid the guy's sch fees, not asking the ultimate question. When he was doing that what was his attitude towards him
Daddy Freeze your Daughter is black beauty! She's glowing!
Very right. Not all income could be tracked.
You are wrong this woman.
Cash in hand business... But if HMRC catches you... You will pay double😂😂😂😂
Yeah business people declare only little %of their money for tax purposes.
I agree with Victoria, everything she said is true.
The Adult woman on this show is brilliant and full of experience. Women should emulate her.
Older woman I'm meant to say. You are also full of wisdom how deal or relate with a man. A good man can give such woman anything she want. Unfortunately, many if the women niw are days lacks wisdom.
Most women are not submissive in this generation.. That I can attest!
Man and woman is equal.
The man feel his more important than the woman and in most cases some women lost the respect they have to their husband because they are the bread winner. So respect and understanding is the only way to get along period
This is shocking to hear woman saying this, I wonder why she has ex husband if she was this good as she's claim
she has learnt the rules of engagement in marriage process.
I wonder ooo... Story tellers😂
Exactly my thought, but it’s well

I won't take sides here bcos none of us lived with them, Bible says the heart is deceitful and there is no cure the human will show you the side they think you will like to see. I lived with a Hyde and Jykle so just maybe both of them are the same let's not be quick to judge,
Victoria you don't get it. Do you know That women are more important. You know why+because God made us complet. We give Barth to children for God sake
You know this much and you couldnt make your marriage work. You go dey alright.
Don't you know that people learn from their mistakes.

Indeed.
Even if is beating you for in love.
Why were you then divorced.
Daddy Freeze, your videos are always inspiring and very educational. Sir, you are a blessing to this generation!
I agree with Vicky on knowing what the child wants but who knows if he had the convo with his son but he still insisted on committing suicide?
What if d husband wouldn't want d wife to work
She should find a way and work and stop being a liability
Yes but some men are manipulator. They want to remote a woman, and make her totally submit, let's not pretend we don't know this things. some men will make the home totally miserable for the woman if she decides to work against his will, especially those insecure once..
Claiming men will go after her if she works, am not saying that it is right for a woman not to work, but how can a woman who wants peace of mind, and a peaceful home earn such man approval to work... no woman wants to go to work and come back to drama at home....
Victoria stop supporting violence.
Victoria is a victim of domestic violence herself. So disappointed in her

This Ike’s ex wife should thank God that Ike is not from Kogi state by now the jazz they would’ve used to finish her she would talk but her voice box would be gone or she just won’t wake up from sleep. I’m speaking from my own experience. Just saying😩
She doesn't have to be from your place. Way forward is forgiveness from all parties involved and healing
Amènè alachi 😂😂
Victoria Inyama is good seeing you and it's more exciting hearing you speak so much sense.
You need to educate our youths about relationship and marriage. Because their priorities are not right these days.
Be careful with the ao called silent people like that lady. We are dangerous but have a different image infront of people.
Daddy Freeze, could you stop these stupid interviews. Ms Victoria, your archaic opinions are not helpful. If you were such a good doormat to your ex-husband, why is he an ex now?
Before you leave your marriage, consider the faith of your children, their future, look at where those children are kept to the level of them rising against their dad, remember they will eventually go back to that family for that is where they belong. Unless the woman is working to hold the children forever so that the man looses all. Please there is he'll and there's heaven. God will never clap for you because you scattered your family, or that you divorced rather he will punish you because you put asunder to what he has joined togather.
Are you serious 😂😂😂
