Thanx Bro!! I got a p0013 code and it pointed to the exhaust actuator. Part number was 12679100, which was the black tipped solenoid. Awesome video Bro...thanx again for the help!! 👊🏽
Thank You for the Video!!! I am cleaning my throttle body and blades today - also going to change these and do some fuel treatment on a Buick Verano 2017 - Great Vid very helpful
Great video bro! My in law just got the p0010 code which im guessing is the intake vvt solenoid. I'll be replacing this tomorrow. I might just repalce both to preventbfrom coming back and have to replace the other later. Thanks again!
Complete lol, about a month ago your video randomly popped up on my feed, today, out of the blue my wife texts me her car stalled and the CEL is on, when I scanned it, I got the P0011 code. My dealer is closer than the parts store, just picked up and swapped the sensors. Thanks for the video.
Hey Chief you need to close your door and turn ignition OFF before performing any kind of electrical/ engine work. Even if it's not dangerous you're still consuming battery power. (I made my first comment BEFORE I watched the video. 👀
I have the same code also but I had the solenoid problem before this time when I drive my car jerks and having a hard time with acceleration. Then it bounce back to normal then Mayne a minute or two later it does it again. Would you happen to know what thos could be? Codes p11c02/p0752/p0091/p2199
Replaced both of mine just yesterday. I disconnected the battery because it was a permanent code. Sometimes the OBD reader won't permanently erase the code.
@@MotoQo thanks for the encouragement but first I had auto zone put it on their reader it said its the electric fuel pump. So I never ended up buying those 2 parts .
Was anyone able to order both the intake & exhaust solenoids together? All the ones I saw for Buick models 2016 and later were sold together which makes sense to me. I was told by several certified mechanics that my fuel was "running rich". I translated it to be there is too much oil/fuel or both running through my valves and this affects things like mileage and the timing in the camshaft. And naturally this can lead to more serious and expensive problems so just take care of it while/ if you can afford it. Hopefully fixing this will remedy the CE light and get my vehicle to pass inspection.
Mines is doing the same thing but now it won’t start. Just keep saying engine reduced but my cam shaft position sensor was replaced and both solenoids now it won’t start. No codes! What can it be?
I just had one solenoid replaced at the dealership 639.00. I knew I was getting ripped off but what are you going to do when she needs that car. Isn't it a shame that people wonder why they lose business. I don't trust any of them anymore. Scam artists that's why I think the next vehicle will be a Toyota or Honda. I would rather spend money on something reliable then pieces of crap.
I had to call my EX 🙄 for this yesterday! I’m almost 60 yrs old. I’ma do this myself!!! THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!

Gotta customer same codes only her car shut off every time u stall..even when backing up

👊🏻
Those are the exhaust solenoids, not the intake. The intake sensor is in an entirely different position.
Wait so are you saying there are actually TWO EXHAUST sensors to replace?
Those are both intake and exhaust. The sensors are literally marked so you know which goes in what.
Bruh Midas tried charging me $500 for this specific service
they trying to rip you off
