I’ve always liked this channel , and ever since you bought your RS7 I’ve been in love ! Keep up the great work , and yes more RS7 videos ! I can’t wait til I buy my own Sepang Blue RS7 Performance !
Thanks for the review im thinking of buying one or an S8 ... also from what I read turbos are covered by state's emission warranty just in case your filter issue destroys your turbos...
I know few things about it. 1. Overpriced pos 2. Reliability is shit 3. Ignorants buy them 4. High maintenance n repairs 5. Have buyers remorse in the end
Just haven't had a chance to drive one yet. I did briefly consider a S8+ when I couldn't find an rs7 in the spec I wanted. It's an awesome car with a bit more luxury, but I like the appearance and aggression of the rs7 more
Pero que pasa compare?!! Como pude haber sido indiferente a estos datos with my 8 months length of studying mechanical engineering, joder! Keep up the good work perro ✌️🤑
Hi mate, nice video and thanks for sharing!! I just went to a mechanic shop yesterday for a road worthy test, the notice me there are oil and water leak underneath the engine, so based on what you mentioned in the video, it seems like its a common issue that most RS7 have? If so does it effect any performance of the car or will it cost any problem? Hope to see your reply. Many thanks.
As far as I know that's not a known issue... Any fluid leaks are a serious cause for concern, absolutely will effect performance and reliability and cost $$$ to fix.
Audi rs7 and rs6 have a completely different 4.0t than the s6 s7 and a8/s8 i didn't know this till I watched a video from audi explaining it but the motor themselves are not the same
My guy absolutely had to have the B&O system but didn’t absolutely have to have the Akropivic exhaust ? I mean, it’s America. Everyone is entitled to their desired preferred options but “absolutely needing” a $5k sound system because of “cool tweeters” coming out of dash but not “absolutely needing” a $9k exclusive titanium and very rare exhaust option does say very much about how you choose options on cars and what type of a car guy you are. 🤷🏽♂️
@@EddieX bought mine used. 2017 model. Did the correct research. As a grease monkey, knew exactly what was important to me, and what was trivial. This of coarse being a very expensive niche type performance sedan and all. I dunno ……. I guess what I’m trying to say is if I was buying an A8, or in general, a car that was oriented and themed towards luxury I could understand why B&O is important. But on a car like an RS7 ? …. I guess I’m kinda the opposite of you & can’t really understand how you said the B&O system on this car was a must. No less because you thought it was cool that tweeters popped up out the dash as the reason. That’s a must for you on a car like an RS7 ?!? yikes!!! I actually wanted the downgraded BOSE audio system and l always keep the volume on low …… so I have the symphonic melody , burbles, crackles, and pops of that special RS7 engine. People get special cars but I always said it’s not the car that defines the buyer. It’s the options that are a must for those car buyers that tell you exactly who those buyers are.
Unfortunately the wave brakes are trash and get warped for nothing. I'm on a barely 2k km set and they are ruined again. Hybrid turbo RS6 ('15 plate face-lift). Think I'm going to give Girodisc a crack next.
EddieX you should be proud because I doubt any of your other subscribers can say that. And another reason you should be proud, wrecked a M4 right beforehand
@@WheelsUpPhotography the curved surface has more exposed to air for heat rejection. Imagine you have a straight line going from point A to point B, the distance is 1ft. Now if the line curves down in the middle (the material being removed), now the total length of the line is longer. Same thing occurs with the surface area.
EddieX Interesting. Airflow in a wheel arch is normally a turbulent mess. Does the car have any kind of ducting to promote airflow to the center of the rotor? The primary advantage of the design seems to come from slightly reduced unsprung weight, but disadvantaged by the rotor’s reduced ability to absorb heat through mass. I suspect the annulus has also been slightly narrowed, and doing so on the outer edge slightly reduces braking torque compared to a constant-radius rotor’s wider annulus. Given the cost, it seems to offer minimal bang for my bucks.
Perfect.Just what I needed,a RS7 video in these down times
Glad to provide it! Several more coming

What year did they correct the oil screen issue on the RS7?
Has it been released yet? Not available in Canada.
What song is in the beginning of the video?
Excellent review!
Thanks!
That cold start was weak :(
Do you have any plans for exhaust mod?
Haha it could definitely be louder. Was planning on milltek non res catback. But probably won't do it since it's being sold soon.
@@EddieX what's your next car
Nothing performance oriented. Just a more practical daily driver and film vehicle
EddieX what why? Is it boring driving the Audi every day?
can you do a video on which radar detector is best/ and how to use it? also what do the bands mean? thansk
Loving your video! Really good quality content !
Thank you!
Does the rs7 have massaging seats or would u need to get a S8 for that
With the comfort seating package you get massage and cooled seats. But they look like sofas
Hmm!.....have you ever thought of custom hood louvers for the rs , better heat dissipation?
I put a 75” tv in the back of mine , it was without the box of course!
That's awesome!
Curious question: Why havent you reviewed or considered the 2018 Audi S8+ ?

S8 plus doesn't look as ganster as the rs7 though

Love the RS7! 🤙🏽
Bought one RS7 2016 with 33.000 miles from Audi Austi North, a week ago, car's back at the dealer because of a leak in the back. :(
badass car man...ultimate daily driver status hah
It's an amazing daily, a bit overkill but epic haha. Thanks!
Looking to get an rs7! Very helpful video Eddie! Do you think it is worth it to get the 2017 rs7 performance over lets say your model?
No doubt, it’ll be cheaper too

Yes. Did you watch the video?

Yes. That's one of the features of wave brakes, however negligible. Helps with heat dissipation
How does removing material increase the surface area? Seems counterintuitive.
