After the original "Jeanny" did well throughout Europe in 1985-86, but went unnoticed in Britain and America, Falco tried to put together an English version--which are the verses heard here, with the street girl/stalker aspect toned down. The original "Quit Living on Dreams" chorus was packaged with these lyrics. The result wasn't very good (The music in the original attracted me far more than lyrics I couldn't understand), and the effort was scrapped. After Falco died, producers Rob and Ferdi Bolland put together this new chorus (which they sing) and added the new Newsflash (with a statement that now that the missing shoe has been located, they think Jeanny is still alive--which doesn't make sense--who carries around a single shoe with them for over a year, and are the shoes so unique that nobody else could be identified with them?). They then presented it as a lost single that Falco had been working on at the time of his death. "Bar Minor 7/11 (Jeanny Dry)" off the album "Data De Groove" is the actual part 3 (the "Jeanny Dry" is a play on "Jeanny Drei", "drei" being the German word for "three", and a dry martini).
