Stress sweater. I crocheted for the entire year that it took my divorce to go through. I would come home every night and make dinner for me and my little and then sit on the couch and crochet and watch tv with him. It honestly was so relaxing. And as long as my fingers were moving and I had to think about my next stitch then my mind wouldn't wander and stress me out.

Also I definitely sleep with a weighted blanket. I love them so much! I ended up having to buy two weight blankets because when I got travel somewhere like back home to my parents who don't have a weighted blanket, I can't sleep without one now. Seeing you crocheting brought back memories of my sweet mom. Anytime she was sitting she was doing some kind of handwork. She passed a few years ago at 87 yrs old after 10-12 year battle with Alzheimer's. She tried many times to teach me but i never got more than a 1/2 of a baby blanket done before I gave up cuz it took forever. I didn't have the patience to ever get anything finished. She loved crocheting so much. Learned at a young age and continued until her brain forgot how to do the work. That's when we knew she had a serious problem. In the winter she would crochet blankets & other things with yarn & in the summer she made things with that string kinda material cuz it wasn't so hot in her lap like yarn. Thanks for the good memories! 💖
