- Hey Friends!! I really hope you enjoy this video of me doing the 24 hours of crochet challenge!! I worked so hard to make this Halloween blanket and record and edit this video for you and it took me around 3 weeks to complete it all!! Yes!! I find resting my wrists really helps though, but it’s when I’m making the pinching position when I hold my projects that makes my fingers hurt!!

Try some anti-inflamitory gel for the hand pain, in Australia it's called Voltaren gel but the active ingredient is called diclofenac so have a look for that ❤

I’m so happy to have you here!!! The best thing to do is just start filming what you do!!! Find your own style and experiment different types of videos!! There’s lots to choose from and people like a wide variety so you can do chatty videos, aesthetic videos, studio vlogs, tutorials, or really whatever your heart desires!!! Just be yourself and people will grow to like you and will enjoy your crochet content!!(: I ignore negative comments or delete them and move on because they’re not worth listening to. but I haven’t gotten too many before so don’t let that stop you from crochet content!!💜💜

@bruisestobutterflies love it! I'm a NOOB who was gifted a crochet kit for Christmas of 2022. The hook included was SO CONFUSING, you had to thread it, and I was clueless! I wouldn't give up. It took me 8 weeks to crochet this little 2 inch by 2 inch square (there must be 40,000 stitches in it) it was all wrong, but I was just confused!! It was that dang hook which had a hole at the top to secure the yarn thru, then thread the yarn thru the big eye at the top and crochet like that... impossible to describe! I don't even know!! Anyway. I'm sort of learning impaired with add and PTSD and I am scatterbrained, so it's an effort for me to follow patterns. Most of the time, I'm simply learning by doing. I'll learn a stitch and use it in one project then move to the next stithc and project. Kind of fumb i know 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️so many times I'm ripping out stitches to start over but hey this repetitive behavior is teaching me! So. This my next project. I wish I had crochet buddies but don't so here I am trying to find community and connections online 😕 Lord help me. Oh! I want to start a channel "The Granny Square Project Club" or something. A club, support group, where we can come together as crochet artists even knitters of course! All are welcome all ages all walks of life specifically all genders! Crochet is universal and maybe this is cliché, but every stitch is stitched with love!! I just need community 😪 ❤️ I live in a small town and am considering going to the senior center to see if anyone wants to start a club. I don't work because of a stomach disease and I have severe PTSD so crochet is my go-to for relief. Oh if only the love of crochet could save the world right? Sorry for my tangent. Omg i seen how u were h9lding ur yarn, i said my hand would hurt lol thats crazy u came and said it hurts, maybe ur tension is tight
My tension is definitely tight and I also hold my hook too hard but I’ve always had this problem with everything like pencils markers etc oopsiesss😬😬
Relax your grip. It will help with the hand cramps. Love the color choices. Happy October 🎉

How do you join your colors if you don't mind me asking?
i always cut off the end of the previous color and weave it in, then i start a new color with a cluster of 3 double crochet in a different corner (any corner is fine but if you want it to be less bulky choose a different one than your last row ended on) and start the new row from there!! Hope this makes sense!!
