I know everyone loves being minalistic, but I am also a maximalist. Wouldn't it be such a dream to have a separate room for every hobby? A music room, a craft room, a photo studio, a sewing room, a dressing room and so on. It would make it so easy to stay organized and not get so distracted.
100 percent I have too many hobbies and not enough rooms. I just need a meditation room a craft room an office.

Apparently, I don’t have a preference for the content you create. If you would’ve told me I’d be glued to every 4827628 hour of cleaning, organizing and moving you’ve done, I’d say you were crazy but here I am hanging onto every fold, sort, toss and hide away of everything you own! 😂

I just wanted to thank you Danna for all of your folding clothes tips and organizing ideas. I'm cleaning and organizing my apartment and of course sorting and getting useless items donated. Just like you I have entirely too much clothes and stuff. But that's okay because mostly everything is needed. I've learned so much from you and I'm very grateful. I love your vlogs and videos. You can sew at your kitchen bar/counter area, keep the machine put away when not in use...I am 66...been sewing for 60 years....That countertop is perfect for~

I don’t know what I would do without your videos every day now that you’re doing them every day. I was forced to retire early because I lost a vision in my left eye. When I first had to go on disability, my son, and I did tons of traveling all over the country and Italy. But now it seems I’m literally in the house seven days a week because I can’t drive at night and everybody else works. Ergo me I also work out every day. going on RUclips as one of my new hobbies. But it’s very depressing. I’m like a hermit that’s not my personality either. I’m very very social so I’ve gone from one extreme to another so thanks for giving me this.

I’m personally a hoarder and it drives me nuts to get rid of things but I’m slowly going through stuff and making myself get rid of some of it. It’s really hard but I have several areas that become my Abyss! I at least realized I have a problem and doing my best to not buy anything unnecessary. Love the videos and I hope your getting enough rest.

I was watching this guy in RUclips, Rocky Kanaka who sits with dogs in shelters, and he has some device that buffers almost all background noise, maybe you should look into that device, because you need that air conditioner on. Danna you are getting there, I have faith in you. Lots accomplished and that doesn't include the hours of editing, so be kind to yourself. Thanks for taking us along.👍❤️

That shelf could be painted and put in the dining room. If there is a plug behind the shelf, a coffee counter with a cuttting board😅 could be on the top. Baskets with stuff on shelves. Just an idea.

Abyss? Absolutely not. I was born and raised in the military then served 20 years myself. I even had 3 successful businesses. Everything has a place...not a holding area. But then again that's my way of living. I have a 4,000 sq foot home so it's easy to assign spaces to hobbies et al. I worked my arse off to be able to buy and quickly pay off the home of my dreams. I don't have any Kevin or Stephen, thank God. I did try marriage once and that's all it took to make me be at peace living alone and doing exactly what I want to do, when, and with whom. Minimalist or maximalist...who cares? I don't. I just live and enjoy every day of my life. I love your crazy videos and I respect all you do and how you do it. Take good care of yourself lady! I SO feel you with this move....two homes ( one from WA...so a MOVE ) ....into a home that fits our furniture POORLY.... STILL STRUGGLING....... THE WORST MOVE EVER.

I loved the comedy moments in this video! On another note I can relate to the ruminations on life. It's not easy, but I think using planners and journals can really help to keep one busy and creating, but also allow to organize one's thoughts. I live alone and find having a bunch of creative hobbies and joining the planner community online to be a really great help. A journaling video might be fun to try sometime and also people like weekly meal prep videos. We really appreciate the cleaning and organizing motivation. Nice work!

I am also a Starbucks addict! I buy the espresso beans and I have a small one/two cup Mr. Coffee Espresso Machine. I just use bottled water. I steam the milk with the steamer attached and use pure vanilla extract and one packet of Splenda. So much cheaper than going to Starbucks each day. I bet one cup (20 oz) is only about 75 cents. I also love matcha....same process but instead of using the machine I heat up the water in the microwave.
I think you are my twin. My version of that salad, which is my daily lunch is: a 2.99 salad bag from Sam's Club. I assemble the kit and add oilve oil, onion, garlic, avocado, and precooked meats on top. I don't cook at all, so this is super inspiring❤

Abyss not sure that spelling is correct! Lol. My Abyss was our dining room because it could be closed off. Living room was a close second, however, I finally got it all sorted and sent part to good will, and blankets and towels to Humane Society, trash dump for alot of it and then I hired a house cleaner and just do a few basics a day since my stroke.but you inspired me lately to organize.so did bathroom yesterday, lined bathroom cabinets and cleaned shelves. Today I organized some kitchen areas, and washed clothes. I truly hope you get another apartment in October. You seem much happier settled in a place you can enjoy. And I just enjoy your videos.

Laundry, find a laundrymat and wash and dry everything at once. I used to do that. Then, fold it all while there, then just put away. You'll spend a lot less time catching up on it.
Abyss 😂😂 I’m moving back to Australia from London England and I’m minimising stuff right now, I’ve got rid of so much stuff, I’ve managed to get everything into one big suitcase, one carry on luggage and one backpack. I actually feel so happy not having much stuff, seeing you trying to organise your stuff gives me anxiety but at the same time I love seeing stuff get organised 😂😂 if I could help you I would love to, I love organising things ❤

Abyss ! You are so much like my hubby it's unreal . When we first moved in together , I told him okay, you have to clean out the 2 spare bedrooms of boxes so we have an extra room when family comes and I can put some of my stuff here too.
So a month later, nothing, infact it looked like he added to it. I said when are you gonna clean the rooms out ? It looks like there are more boxes ! He said well you didn't tell me when you wanted out.
So I start pulling boxes out. I find a belt, some ties , some receipts , some taxes from prior years, comics. Then in the next box, some clothes , some more comics , match box and hot wheel cars.
You see when he would clean the main rooms, he would take a box, throw general items in box, then put in rooms, close doors and boom done ! LOL
so I found that telling him I need something done , is just nothing. Telling him I need it done by the 19th of June! Perfect he will start on the 18th and get it gone or hide it somewhere by 19 ! Lol

You could use the book case as a storage shelf in that back hallway as well as the little one you have the shoes on. Then get a room divider to block off that whole section.
Your abyss looks like fun organizing tbh. But for you I can imagine it’s stressful.
I say keep the book shelf and use it for storage. And I definitely say spray paint it.

I have enjoyed your cleaning videos...I was cracking up with moving things.
I’m a maximalist too. Yet I love how I look at your stuff like I’m a minimalist. Your organization is good. But just like me, you have too much stuff to use or that’s borderline dated.
The best advice that I have for you is to put everything in the abyss back into bins. They don’t have to be organized. Then take a bin out one at a time whenever you have the capacity. I refuse to bring all of my stuff in a clean space because seeing it all out paralyzes me. Sometimes I have to treat cleaning like a workout and set a timer.
I look around my place often to take inventory of what’s the most important. If I was told to evacuate I need my wool blankets, photos, urns, and my mom’s bracelet. Everything else is fillers.
