    / 123310374392767
Every third Saturday of the month, the U5 club, in the heart of Berlin, is home to the Everything Crash Allnighter. Since we started it up in 2005, the party has become well-known not only to Berlin's lovers of the marvellous sounds of the 60s and early 70s, but way beyond.
We play classic Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and early Reggae on vintage 45s, topping it off with rare soul grooves.
While we love our regulars from Berlin's traditional rudeboy and mod scene, we are also always very happy to see new faces enjoying themselves to great soulful music.
Why not call in and see us when you're in Berlin - and get there early to grab one of our free CDs which we mix ourselves, new every month. You can also check them out on our facebook site!!! See you at the U5!!!

Classic breakbeat of course, but did y'all know that this was released on the original Skye Records label which was founded by Gary McFarland, Cal Tjader and Gabor Szabo, three absolute legends of jazz. Grady Tate was their session drummer, but he could obviously sing too. Rest In Power.

If you're wondering where Big Daddy Kane got the drum sample from Set It Off, here it is! Sorry for the error, I got the songs mixed up there for a sec. Forgive me🤪!

@@drfangaz-pronouncedlikefan4019 You don't sound convinced? It's actually true. The sample is also from a Brian De Palma film, Hi Mom (1970).

You mean Big Daddy Kane's 'Set it Off.' Mister Cee was not the artist name.

In April I just returned from a 2 month long trip to Madrid and I still have an desire to keep learning the language beyond using translation apps.
