Good breakdown! I played the video at half speed around 0:12, really wanted to hear the drum pattern with that little high hat trick, there's a secondary snare there that completes the trick, I got it now!!

Being one of his best songs I was expecting a bit more from this break-down tbh. It really could use at least more in-depth explanation on how he split the bass and lead layer on top of it. And as I said in an earlier discussion, I really believe there is more to it that than just using a lowpass filter.

I disagree... sometimes it is just a sick loop and that's all there is to it. Yeah the beat is incredible, and yeah I love when producers rearrange a drum sample, but the melody here is not doing anything mind blowing, at least not enough that it feel like I have to include in a voiceless breakdown.
Sometimes they go crazy, sometimes the beauty is that it is simple
