      But ok to for the Americans to see the whole world as there sphere of influence. How would they react to Russia forming an alliance with Mexico and posting soldiers and armour on the Mexican Canadian border. Think we know how that goes. As for Lithuania you have a population of a 1000 an army of 2000 and your prime minister is the chichuaua that barks behind Dementia Joes back.       as a Canadian I sympathize with all the countries on Russias borders. Putin is the instigator here and that is obvious. the situation requires a firm hand in order to end Putins childishness.       I think that they uploaded a new version as it's now 22:31 long. Sometimes the uploading process to RUclips gets fubared but that shouldn't excuse someone from checking out the finished upload that Joe public sees.

    There seems to be something wrong with the video?
    Not only are the audio levels very low (as with many of your recent videos), but here the cc is out of order and the sound completely cuts out as of ca 24 minutes in.
    Unfortunate, as the topic really is very interesting

      I believe that they've uploaded a new copy. It's now 22:31 long and the audio sounds good to me. Probably something went sideways with the upload to RUclips on the 1st go round. That doesn't excuse them from not checking the final product that us viewers will see.

      Ukraine’s path to NATO membership had been agreed. It was a few years later Russia annexed Crimea. Do not try to pretend Russia was not threatened, that is just not true.

    I can think of worse leaders than Putin - such as Netanyahu and Biden - so why try to remove Putin rather than worse leaders? What makes some people think that it is OK for Western countries to try to change the regime in Russia, but not OK for Russia to try to change Western regimes?
    Why can't we allow other countries to sort themselves out and devote our energies into improving our own governments - without assassinations, please. We have no right to dictate to others.

      Like a rule they're the staunches defendants of Ukraine. I have acquaintainces who lived in Crimea before and after occupation. Why do you ask?

      @@dannydetonator Hi,i think the question maybe for me? i to have had many interactions in Ukraine over the years,and Crimea, my question was not aimed at RUclipsrs , more of the academics that contribute to news channels and advice govts.A big difference from knowing Russian exiles in London etc to the ordinary folk that still live in their Motherland. It`s the same here in uk how,wealthy and connected politicians and academics all know the woes and concerns of say, working class people,but have little to no connection with that group of people they are `experts` on...I hope that clarifies ?
