      I spent a couple years there as well. 3rd bct 82nd. If it didnt have all the negatives, it wouldn't be a bad place to stay lol. I dont enjoy exerting myself through an overwhelming amount of bs on a weekly and sometimes daily basis for no reason. I went to Hawaii as mg 2nd duty station and it wasn't much better. I got out in 2014 and there is nothing like civilian life in the military unless maybe I had tried to go warrant officer. Warrants dont get paid as much as they should make for the amount of work they put in though, despite it being laid back. They are true experts in their field..

    Really excellent lead singer and harmonies. I started my career in the 82nd. It’s funny how it drives you crazy while you’re in it then miss it when it’s gone.

    Outstanding!!! I was with the 20th Engineer Battalion at Ft. Bragg. I jumped with the 82nd Airborne. Ft. Bragg was my first and best duty assignment of my entire military career. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything.

    I served in the great 82nd. Had the wonderful opportunity to see the choir in the 90’s and it brought tears to my eyes to see how you are holding the great perfection that the 82nd has. Thank you soldiers so much.

    My late father (Sargent Michael Starbuck) was in 82nd airborne, he join in 1977, died May 6th 2018 AATW

      I agree lol but I put my thumbs up because one I liked how they did the chorus, and two my Senior Army Instructor is a retired Airborne veteran himself and three I am looking to enlist in the army myself and I’m only 26 and I definitely would love to volunteer to go to airborne school once I get in 💯

    Was never Airborne, but that cadence brought back some very warm memories from many years ago. Most of those young men, G*d bless them, weren't even born when I first went on Active Duty. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that several of them hadn't been born when I retired. Damn!! I feel old!!

    Great! My Uncle, Bernard Woodland was the first African American paratrooper in the USA during WWII in the 82nd Airborne Division. RIP Barney!

    I served with the 101st Airborne during Viet Nam. 68-72. Much respect to the Double A's. it is quite obvious to me that the 51 thumbs down are nothing more than a bunch of sorry assed straight legs that don't have a single clue about what it means to be Airborne. whooooooouh! all the way.

    From 1974-2015, I wore an ARMY uniform and no matter how informs changes we went through, the one thing that never changed was cadence songs. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY.

      I've never been in one of those fabled " perfectly good airplanes" myself.... I always seem to get the ones flown by Reserve Dentists and it always seemed safer to jump out than wait for them to land. If it was just a Pay Jump from a CH-47...the first thing you did was look for where the Hydraulic fluid leak was...at least then you knew there was some still left in the systen....but it was/is the best job in the Army.....

    I liked that one much better than the old WW11paratroopers laughing and singing many verses of "it's a hellofa way to die" ! I doubt it was so funny during D-day landing, But they survived, we won the war and now they safely laugh and sing about it!
