Omg this is you 😲😲😲 because of this video I decided to be part of the air force you inspired me thank you so much and you are beautiful with a amazing voice and energy
This was my flight. I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since this! SSgt Esparza (the MTI in this video) was an AMAZING MTI. I am incredibly blessed out to have had her as my MTI.
Sure do! Most of them at least. If memory serves me right, first one is "Steamroller." Second one is a variation of the "Air Force Cadence." Third one is a variation of "Mama Mama." Fourth one is more popular in the Army, so it's usually called "Just The Other Day I Heard A Drill Sergeant Say," but our MTI tailored it to fit our branch (that's my best guess at least, we just did what she told us to LOL). Fifth one would be called "V.I.C.T.O.R.Y."
Oh man, I bet!! I was so sad when I heard that they were going to tear down the old ones. In my dorm, there was a big mural painted of my MTI and the other MTI that she would partner with frequently. It was so awesome, but sucks that it's probably not there anymore. Either way! I'd love to see what the new ones look like. Can't...stop...the rock!!
Selinor578 Who said anything about it being hard to do ? She is calling out a marching cadence song, the military and sports teams use them when running also. To me and as i can see from this comments section many others get it and enjoy it when the caller is good like she is.
Petey Weestro Other commenters seem to think she's especially good at something. I think their opinion is coloured by how good-looking they think she iss.
+Travis Lepine she is well I got one better, my ti's were Curtis Ross and Harold Mcfee, both staff sergeants they were like ex-marines. they not only barked but in your face literally and most of us laughed silently and when we graduated their attitudes towards us changed, one of our airmen just prior to graduation went awol and I mean awol, they found him about 3 months later in his home state of florida under and assumed name and he was busted and went to Leavenworth for 20 years. I heard about it through a senior airman who was a friend of mine stationed and lackland when I was at my permanent duty at march and almost went in my pants from shock. he left basic in middle of night and slipped out when guard had to use latrine, he went fast and quiet. that following morning the guard who was duty watching noticed one bed was empty and reported it and all hell broke loose. we all pulled guard duty in 2 hr shifts with an m-16. I remember like it was yesterday, what you learn in military will stay with you the rest of your life,
I was in the very first flight she took through training as the lead. We even had a motto we printed on our flight t-shirts, “we mounted, dismounted, we got some, she wasn’t bad for her first time”. All of that was in reference to her having us do pull ups before going into the dfac for chow. We called her (when she wasn’t around) mommy Esparza because she was scary to us but would go to great lengths to protect us from those outside our flight (other trainees and other instructors). She was the ultimate tough but fair instructor, we had other male ti’s but we respected her the most. I will never forget the sniper wonderland Jody we sang on Christmas or the unofficial Jody of flight 081, “glorious, victorious, one keg of beer for the four of us”
In the USMC, we use those same cadence for running not marching. Same lyrics etc just Air Force switched out for USMC. This video is great and she is a great DI . Platoon is tight , in sync , in step , in unison. As a Marine, I must say , I'm impressed. Semper Fi
AF borrows uniforms, cadence, and customs from every branch. Why reinvent the wheel or fix what isnt broken. Being the youngest of the branches at the time, we took the best of every branch. Idk what space force does tho 💀
I watched the whole thing, was very impressed. Havent heard the "box me up and ship me home" cadence since I was a kid living near Ft. Rucker in the 60s. The DI is very impressive, this gal has her stuff together.
My Beloved grandson graduated May of this year, it was awesome, so proud of our Air Force men and women. Go Air Force. My son was a Sgt of Marines Semper Fi, so proud of my sons.
My grandpa served in the Air Force. I’ve listened to this cadence so many times recently. He passed and it’s just so beautiful this sgt has the best voice!!
SSgt Dee Dee Esparza: I love you. None of my Army Drill Sergeants could sing like you. Your airmen could march well, and this says something about your ability to train and lead them. Good job. You have my respect.
Terrifying they may be,but on Graduation Day who do you owe your success to? And whom do you remember for the rest of your life? With thanks, and gratitude? And above all, respect?

In preparation for a contract job I was hired for back in August, I started watching these types of videos to get my mind back into the military vibe. This SSgt Esparza and this whole flight is a true inspiration no matter who you are or whatever your place in life is. You can't help but be inspired! Women are half of our population. We should prize their contribution to our military.
Good job, ladies.
Shut up star lord the save our ass so we don't have to

Sexist jackass. I know many females that can out preform many of the males that I serve with.
What branch, component, and MOS are you or were you? (If you've even served...)
