This was very helpful, thank you! They recently discontinued Macaron, so you doing the comparisson between latte and macaron was exactly what I needed - now I know that if I really want it I can just try latte with one of the clear glosses. 😊
@@Beautylashes19 Did you try swatching any of the clear glosses or glossy finish shades over the matte pigments? If so did it effect the wear times? I’d really wanted something long wear and glossy, so I was disappointed to see that the glossy/shimmer shades didn’t have very good wear time on their own.
@@ms.annthropic6341 hi, yes.. if you want a long lasting glossy eye, you can layer matte Colorfix underneath glossy Colorfix.. Just let the matte one dry/set before adding gloss.. i have used these on photoshoots and they last for a few hours till I take it off.. I haven't tried all day wear with this combo..
It's definitely on my list of videos to film in the near future 😊 I work 2 jobs other than RUclips so it's a bit hectic at the moment.. But it's one of the next 3-4 videos I'll be filming 😊
What a helpful video..thank you! I would like to pick up a few at the Sephora sale and was wondering what your thoughts are on the best formula for mature lids. I have some crepiness on my lids and was wondering if you think the matte or glazes would look best. Also, would you recommend a lid primer with these?
Thank you 😊 I would recommend the creamy finish metallics for mature eyelids, especially shades like celebration, ballerina which have a soft shimmer.. Glazes will also look lovely but they will crease on their own.. if layered over Colorfix, they generally don't crease.. If you have very oily eyelids or are worried about bold colours staining eyelids, I do recommend using an eye primer underneath..
Yes! I just got Venus and Romance to add to my Exposed collection and omg they are just gorgeous! Her products are absolutely incredible. However if you could pass along a msg to DM that cool toned skins would love to have some options on her base products. They are all olive, yellow and/or warm 🤣 TY for making a part 2! This was so helpful!
Yay, so glad you are enjoying those colours! I will be try to pass it along but N1 and N2 VCC have a cool undertone. Most people with pink (cool) undertone tend to wear yellow-based/neutral foundations. Maybe that's why she doesn't have too many pink-based shades. Even in my freelance work, I haven't found anyone that I couldn't match with her foundation shades. Have you tried N1 or N2? N2.75 is my most used shade for fair skin tones, sometimes mixing in TW (white) or N1 to it.
@@Beautylashes19 yes your swatches are so helpful! TY for tagging me! I am pretty pink/cool toned so when I wear an incorrect tone such as yellow/warm or neutral undertones you can clearly see it doesn't match my body but that's ok. Thanks though!
@@Beautylashes19 I love her balm 01 contour but it is olive/yellow on me. Hopefully one day she will make some cooler ones since her formulas are incredible. Thanks again!
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup oh, I think Balm contour 1 is pretty cool toned.. #2 is warmer.. DM intentionally didn't make too cool toned shades as they can make people look ill/dead 😁 But maybe she will expand her range to include more cooler tones..
Idk where i had written that these dont last that long on my oily skin, but i tried these (matte colorfix) a couple of more times after that and yes i still experience dramatic fading. On my mobile lids they dont stay put alone or on top of the Viseart eye primer; they crease and fade away before i finish my makeup. So in less than an hour. Between the oiliness of my eyelids, and the hood of the eye rubbing against my mobile lid, it cant hold on. Need to try it on top of the Milani eye primer, and perhaps putting a fan on it for a but before I open my euea, see if that helps. On my face, by the 4 hour mark its significantly faded. I applied the color Latte heavily on my cheekbones, and used it to 'bronze" my forehead, just so that i could have a ton of the product on to be able to dicern longevity. I always ended up touching up with powder color products before the 6-8 hour mark. Theres no way i was going to make it dawn to dusk with just sunscreen, a bit of concealer under the eyes and the Latte colorfix set with a small amount of powder. My skin is too oily, and the weather is too hot. That said i have foundations that do last dawn to dusk, so im wondering if you get all day wear, despite having oily skin, because you use foundation under it. Its a thought. I tried using it on bare lips, and that dramatically increased the wear time. Thanks for that tip. It looks a bit unflattering on my superlined lips though, ill have to play around with that. Overall these look great on the skin, and blend out extremely easily. But they dont wear like liquid lisptick for the face (not 16+ hours). I honestly think the Morphe cream blushes (in a tube) last longer, but ill have to pit them against each other. Just my thoughts. Ty for the swatchea
@@jehanie16 Skincare and skin prep factor into that. I was talking about matte foundations from Lancome & Dior. I use 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide nightly, 1%salylic daily, and adapalene a few times a week, all of which help with oiliness if not overdone (I worked up to this amount/frequency). I prime the Tzone with MUFE Pore minimizer on top of [dried down] skincare, apply foundation with a sponge, and use setting powder from Revlon (Colorstay compact). My sunscreen is Paulas Choice Youth Extending fluid spf 50 ( not matte, but not oily and its very lightweight). Sometimes I use the Elf Invisble SPF 35 instead (but then I need to put a moisturizer under it).
@@Beautylashes19 Nude 4 & Latte. I'm an NC38 in Mac so I think what you used for spot concealing and blush will work for me too. I wanted a shade for contouring but I really dont know which to pick.

The browns in the nudes range is based on her foundation shades and therefore have a different undertone. The matte browns have a different undertone to these (for example - more red or grey toned which skin tone shades aren't).

Hi Sneha, does this product hold up to sweat? I need something that sticks to the skin and doesnt let go.
Absolutely 👍 It's waterproof so sweat shouldn't be a problem 😊

@Beautylashes19 Does the crystal glaze dry down and remain glossy or does it stay gel like like a normal gloss?
It stays wet like a regular gloss.. glazes don't dry down like the mattes/creamy shimmer/neons/nudes/foils in the Colorfix range..
