- This isn't just a $1 million victory. Nope. For John Cochran, winning Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans Vs. Favorites is a dream come true. This self-admitted, buff-collecting nerd climbed to the top and walked away from season 26 with the title of sole Survivor -- something he never dreamed would be possible when he started watching the show's first season in 2000 as a kid. I had the chance to chat with Cochran on the red carpet immediately after he was revealed as the winner during the finale in Los Angeles. In his very candid, charming manner, Cochran went in depth about making the "social suicide" decision of wearing buffs in high school, explained which buff is his favorite, described how surreal it is to win the game and dished the dirt on his relationship status. It's hard not to like Cochran even though I thought the season over all wasn't very good. Of course Probst's blatant favoritism and trying to conflate every single thing into the biggest, most shocking move or twist in Survivor history didn't help.
im glad he won well after was voted out Brenda hes not as good as some winners like tom J.T kim but hes a lot better than winners like Fabio aras and todd yes todd I cant stand him.
aras played an ok game but I don't he stands out among other winners I wish terry would have won. fabios game was ok.chocran was more in charge of game than him.
