Dilly, you need to introduce your guests and get them to speak about themselves and the works they've done so the viewers know who you are interviewing. Also, you may know the views of your guests but allow them to speak and don't put words into their mouths. This will make a better interview as the viewers will get to understand properly what your viewer is all about.
May Allah reward sister Naima. She is the nightmare of the "Muslim" feminists. I've seen first hand how hurt these feminists can be with her Dawah and narrative.
As some born in the gen z generation and as a female I really appreciate this conversation especially around the 38 minute mark about having that foundational eemaan that can change your entire perspective. I feel like this sister has articulated all of the ideas I've wanted to express to my own friends. May Allah preserve everyone who was a part of this podcast. Ameen.
Boy oh boy! Did we need this? Yessssss👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 finally she tackled the real issues. We need more people like her. I’m working on me that for sure. Allahuma barak to the both of you.
One of the best podcast I've listened to by far!! Very clearly to the point, honesty and absolutely no sugar coating. This episode is just packed with gems! A huge 👍🏽
Alhamdulillah this was a great conversation and throughly enjoyed listening to it whilst on my run this morning. We really need more of this type of open discussion. JazzakAllah khair to all involved.
Learnt new ways, may Allah swt reward you sister Ameen Ameen. I like when you said "Islam is for eternity" soo powerful and true. Thats how we need to hear it! :)
This sister is a gem but let’s be honest the majority of Muslim women don’t think like her... she’s obviously someone who’s learned and takes her teaching from the historical teachings of Islam whereas a lot of the other women seem to take their teachings from elsewhere... I hope we have more learned women like the sister on this podcast - and I don’t mean in terms of her dress code, I mean more a mindset
Ma sha Allah the sister is on point. We have to practice lslam the right way not to follow the west. The west are trying to change lslam. It is easy to talk lslam we must learn to practice lslam. Take the benefit things that are good from the west, but live your lslam the way of the our Prophet Muhammad his Sunna and you wouldn't go on the wrong path.
@@NaimaBRobertTV I KNOW! you have no idea how excited I was when I saw it, i loved it i took away a lot from it mashallah. Umm how can meek obedient women not give good advise? Just because a women is understanding and helpful doesn’t mean it takes away her ability to think.
Nah, she says you can’t go to her for advice, she would say whatever you decide. Which is absolutely not true. Also I am tired of people sitting in the west and passing judgements on desi culture. It’s not like the other Muslim world is saint when it come to women and also the way women are treated in west itself is nothing to be proud of.
What kind of man is going to run to his wife for advice presented in a forceful way? Were the wives of the prophet or the companions like this? From what I've read the best of women were more like how this lady described the desi women?
Are Muslim women “vulnerable” or half the ummah who have the same duties as men to please Allah swt??? Seems to be moving the goal posts. Sisters got some rhetoric where she uses truisms to get attention but I’m still struggling to see what the problem is and what the solution is. I for one would listen and obey if someone more knowledgeable comes with good ideas. It seems the main message is that western society is flawed, it’s permeated Islamic culture, Muslims have been entrapped with ideas such as individualism, freedom, atheism etc. soooo I don’t see what feminism can do to to change that. As she said, islam is Islam. Somali society is actually matriarchal, so that analogy was off. Dunno. I’m trying to learn here.
@@aatif7518 no one cares what you believe, its about the cold hard facts. Average UK salary for a man is 35k, there is not a chance you are going to be able to cover for all your expenses and the woman's expenses, and then the children's expenses with that. Let's take it a step further, if you live in the city, zero chance. Women have to work unless the man is a high earner like myself who earns 100k+.
Because the concept of true choice is a farce. Every single society has some level of mandatory conformity and dominant message that most of its people internalise, so even when you believe your choices to be independently yours, they are usually heavily influenced by your enviroment.
The asl is the women should pray home there are ample Hadith that highlights the MERITS of the believing women to pray home and that’s better for her, the masjid is for men hence why it’s dominantly overwhelming with men not women, if the Hadith and Quran said WOMEN to pray inside the masjid then it’ll be the same. Why is this sister sighing and rolling her eyes when dilly spoke about there’s no space for sisters? U have education for sisters, but don’t get it confused with the wajibat of men to women. Are u saying ur better than the wives of the companions?! No you’ll never reach their position sister naima, even if u were to live million years, so do some research about the women of the salaf who they were and HOW they were before rolling ur eyes.

Sadly it is a necessity now in the UK. Average salary of a man doesn't cover 2 people, let alone children as well. Women have to work now.
