No doubt you've heard this song before, it's been so heavily played over the last 30 years (deservedly so). As a few others have mentioned, if you're going to listen to another Bon Jovi song, Dead or Alive is a solid choice.

The singer’s name is Jon Bon Jovi. The band’s name is Bon Jovi. Their album “Slippery When Wet” has some of their most legendary songs on it. Livin’ On a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive, and You Give Love a Bad Name. You can’t escape at least passively hearing those songs at some point. Heck, their album “New Jersey” also has a few of those. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10 on that one. The albums have their own Wikipedia pages.
Crossroads was the 2nd CD I ever bought. Listened to Bon Jovi before then of course, but that when I was of age to buy my own CDs (plus CDs were slowly replacing all my cassettes too)

This song has been played by so many people and been so iconic for so long that you would have had to literally JUST been born not to have passively heard it in the background somewhere.
The funny fact about this song is it almost wasn't released. Jon Bon Jovi actually didn't like singing it because of the high notes and he felt it was alittle soft. Thankful they did because it is one of their biggest hits.

The level of energy is physically tangible at many of these shows. It sounds cliche but you can feel it in the air around you and it is so intoxicating to get lost in that energy and the great music around you. Definitely something you should experience at least a couple of times in life no doubt.

I remember when this song came out. Everyone knew it was an instant hit. I love songs that build and you can feel from the beginning intro the excitement building. The chorus hits you hard and makes you scream the lyrics! The song continues and right when you think the building of the song can not get any bigger there is a key change for the final chorus that blows your mind! We played this song in pep band and for first trumpet they were the highest notes I have ever tried to hit!

The singer is Jon Bon Job I and he's one of the best to come out of New Jersey. My dad worked with his cousin and the family is so sweet. They are so nice that my father got Jon to sign an album for me and it inspired me so much. Try listening to his song " bed of roses". This band is a great rabbit hole to travel down. Also, Bruce Springsteen is another " good ole Jersey boy" to look into. 💚

I was in high school from 88 till 91 so this is my kinda music. I had a jean jacket with a BON JOVI BAD MEDICINE BACK PATCH that I bought and sewed on. My wardrobe consisted of black band tshirts and frosted jean's with either holes in them or knee pockets on them. And yes I used alot of AQUA NET HAIR SPRAY. MY junior year I didn't realize it was picture day and I had way big hair with winged sides and a guns-n-roses tshirt on. LOve your reaction to this I'll be checking back for more BON JOVI ❣

John Bon Jovi sings for "Bon Jovi". He's essentially a solo artist who refused to hog all the spotlight, treating the band as equals. Especially in the case of his writing partner, best friend, and guitarist, Richie Sambora. You will recognize most of Bon Jovi's hits. They were all Top 10's, most of them hitting number 1 for a while, and they're scattered throughout film, television, sports teams' fight songs, you name it. They literally had more hits in the 80's and 90's than Michael Jackson and Madonna combined.

My two favorite 80s movies are breakfast club and Red Dawn! Great era for music and movies.*. You totally have to experience a rock concert there's nothing like it. There's a camaraderie and a certain energy that is irreplaceable

One of the best concert experiences I ever had was seeing 30 Seconds To Mars opening up for Linkin Park..... 30STM completely owned that concert. The pure energy and excitement was palpable. Jared Leto has got to be one of the best frontmen in live concert history. The entire arena was like an orchestra and he was conducting it. To see Linkin Park come out after that performance was like seeing a high school band come out after Queen opened for them. I felt sorry for them. It went from exploding glitter canons, dozens of giant beachballs bouncing around the audience, Jared Leto walking through the crowd to serenade the people in the far back of the arena, bring a legion of fans on stage with them... to Chester resting his one foot on a speaker and just standing in one place while singing. I was shocked at the difference in stageshows. One of them made up for the cost of the tickets for both bands.
