I'm happy I didn't get any Etsy sales today lol. I just have one P1S machine and can barely keep up. Looking to pick up a 2nd machine right now though. Guys, you can do it too. Just come up with something original and go to town.
I don't even have a 3D printer yet but have been wanting one for ages and researching them, etc., but I really enjoy these little business vlogs. You're doing a great job!
Really enjoy seeing the “behind the scenes” of someone and a business people can easily relate to. Would love to see how you go around product photography and editing, as it’s very much out of my own wheelhouse (being an engineer).
Advancements in mechanical engineering has opened a whole new avenue for entrepreneurs and makers to do incredible things. The creativity is amazing. Keep up the great work and seize every moment. In business, there is no such thing as 'nothing to do.' When your not 'working', you're doing maintenance.
My man, love the 3dprinting vlogs really, so fun to watch, I am a 3d printer creator in Brazil, have been watching your videos and they are such a vibe, very real and interesting content! Keep it up, have watched the 3 videos you have posted, all of them are fantastic, and you have been realizing really fast, that's awesome!!!
I've been enjoying your videos. I just sold my Ender 3 S1 and bought the Bambulab A1 Because I really want to start treating it more like a side job rather than a hobby, And I gotta say, your videos are very inspiring and simple, puts sing on the ground... Just as a comment, please get a mouse, watching you editing the pictures with the track pad is giving me the ick. Cheers!
WIth the TPU you need a softer one. The one you have seems like its the 95, you would want the softer end of the scale with 85 or 72 likely. 95 is great for things like combat robots that need flex to take a hit but not flex to flex under just normal static load. The softer you go, the harder to print though so have to find a happy medium for your experience and machine as well.
Just started watching your vids, nice setup and congrats on your store! I started actually trying with my Etsy 3D printing store late last year and now have 3 Bambu machines, and still have days like that with zero orders. Although they're nice to catch up sometimes when you have a few days where you get a ton of orders. This year I'm just over 300 orders, so in a very similar size as yours!
@ I’d love to see some details on what printers you use for label printing and packing and shipping things. I’m personally just using a thermal label printer and older epson inkjet for the “thank you” cards.
I'm just navigating the starting of my own little 3d print business and its quite nerve racking and overwhelming, I'm slowly going thru your content for some idea of what to look forward to.
This is one of those channels you can’t help but root for! Been loving the content and looking forward to more. You’ve given me some ideas! I have a little print farm as well and am trying to figure this all out, if you ever wanna chat, hit me up!
You may want to try a softer TPU. If you got the most known 95A, you can try to get 90A or a bit lower hardness, that should solve your issues with the compression of the part
For the TPU, in the past I've had success attempting 0% infill only within the "accordion" sections to fold better. Not sure how thick your part is, but hope that may help 👍
Love that I stumbled on your videos! Are you solely on Etsy right now? I’ve been interested in starting my own 3d printing side hustle and starting to research selling avenues.
Stumbled across your channel! Your content is great. I have my own 3D Printing Business I've been running for 5+ years! I have a bunch of shorts on my channel🤘🏼
Good job on the biz and vids. What is up with us Midwesterners and making practical things? Heh. Looking forward to seeing you progress. Glad I found your channel near its start. Just an opinion: For new 3D printed products, I found it good to make things that improve the customers processes, add color customization "if needed" because it is unique to 3D printing , and priced competitively. These thing add VALUE which is hard to define for each product sometimes. Example: your coffee grinder hopper, one color is great to match the machine (value), the customers love the process improvement over the OEM (Huge Value Add), and appreciate the arrival speed and customer support (value).
Yo i subscribed. Im 18 years old i been printing for like 2 years and I’m trying to do the same thing as you. I started selling stuff in school a but now i might make a shop on Etsy
I find your content and journey interestingly relatable, you have my sub. Designing functional components in CAD is like working in the microverse, if the wall looks thick enough or the gap looks large enough, double it.
You got to 1K so quickly awesome!! I'm curious if you do live streams? I am having a weird glitch with my watch time sometimes getting way way too much sometimes not enough and i think it's due to when i publish. Just curious if you have noticed anything like that?
I don't currently do any livestreams. Honestly feel very lucky to have this amount of traction! I've not noticed anything strange on my end. Thanks for checking out the channel :)
How long after you started selling did it take you to finally receive a payment from your Etsy account? I've made over $1300 and still haven't received a penny. Thanks love the videos 😃
Hey man! I really like your videos. I started my 3d print shop in 2016 and have been printing ever since. If you ever want to collab or just talk friend to friend it would be cool. you videos make me calm and comfortable in what i am doing. I hope all works out and you can fully provide for your family :)
Not tryna be a hater, but those bins are most likely not going to sell well. They're fairly basic, and there's dozens of similar models online for free. As physical products they might be OK, but I'd personally focus my efforts on other stuff. Selling digital files is fine, but something as basic as that doesn't have as much potential imo. Great content though, you've earned a sub from me! (Congrats on 1k 🎉)
Appreciate it and thanks for the feedback! I don't expect it to be a best seller, but it solved a very niche issue I had with the free models online. From my end the only real work involved was photos and making the listing since I had the models already :)
Love that I stumbled on your videos! Are you solely on Etsy right now? I’ve been interested in starting my own 3d printing side hustle and starting to research selling avenues.
Thanks! Yes, at the moment I am only on Etsy. In 2025 I also plan to launch a website. Etsy has been a great platform to test out my products since they have their own audience :)
I really enjoy seeing other peoples process and your train of thought when either deciding on a new product, packing or photography.
Stay tuned for the next video! I want to outline some new packaging I designed

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉WOOOOOO 1K!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉CONGRATS BRO!!
Thanks! Can't believe it :)
Great video! Ecommerce and social media marketing is where I struggle. Great to see how you take photos and software you use.
Thanks!

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to more videos from you!
Thanks! More to come :)
As a 3d printing etsy seller, this is aweasome to see and I have gone through/ going through all of this! i've subscribed!
Thanks! 🙂
Colorfabb Varioshore TPU, shore hardness can be adjusted with print temperature. One roll but many options for the flexibly of your 3D prints.
I'll check that out!

Thanks! You are not the first to dislike my trackpad shenanigans. Just wait until you see me 3d model on a trackpad 😂

It definitely can be overwhelming! Just remember, slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Keep at it!

I totally agree, I love finding and supporting fellow small business owners.

Wow! Appreciate it :)
@@OfficialOffDaBench keep on keeping on dude!

Good idea! Didn't even think to look
Would totally like to see your esty listing process
Good topic for a future video! What might help is a checklist for new listings
For the TPU, in the past I've had success attempting 0% infill only within the "accordion" sections to fold better. Not sure how thick your part is, but hope that may help 👍
I'll have to try that out! Also was told to use a softer TPU
Love your videos man, thank you for sharing
Thanks! More videos soon
I'd love to see the photo editing process.
I'll include it sometime soon!
I definitely would like an in depth video of photo editing
Its on the list!
Good to see work in progress :)
🙂

Also, cool to see content from small businesses :)

That's hilarious! Yes we do like our straight forward ideas. Also great advice :)

You should! Its a great place to start :)
I enjoy your channel! Great job!
Appreciate it! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your journey. Being a small business owner sounds tough. Do you recommend any slicers?
No problem! I'd say pick whatever slicer works best with your machine. In my case its the Bambu slicer, but other good ones are Cura or PrussaSlicer
YO YOU WENT UP 300 SUBS IN A DAY! LOL 1K SUBS TODAY!!!! NICE!
Literally crazy!
Great channel! Keep it up!
Appreciate it!
My mans where ya mouse at.?! Editing with the touchpad is crazzzzy.
😂
I find your content and journey interestingly relatable, you have my sub.
Designing functional components in CAD is like working in the microverse, if the wall looks thick enough or the gap looks large enough, double it.
Thanks! Totally agree as well
The picture quality is amazing, what are you filming with ? Is it in log aswell ?
I use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3! It's not in log I just use the built in color profile.

Thanks! I have weekly payouts setup. You should just need to link up a bank account and verify your identity.
Love ur videos
Thanks!
what camera you used to take pictures of your models
I have a Sony a6400, but I hear lots of people can take great photos with their phone :)
very good video, there is no job for me, I have been doing 3D printing for 1 year and in Argentina you don't earn well
Keep at it and stay creative! I'm sure you will find something that works :)

Why didn't you go with SKADIS?
Pegboard was cheap and accessible where I live. The closest IKEA is 2 hours away. I also like the old school vibe of pegboard :)
How are you getting subs so fast? You went from 100 to 500 to 1500 in like a couple weeks
Honestly I have no idea! Luck I suppose
Days to rebuild stock!
Very true!

get softer tpu.
I honestly didn't even think of that 😂
I'll take a look to see what there is!
Make a video about photo edits!
I'll add it to the list! What exactly are you curious about?
SUB TO THIS GUY GET HIM TO 1K!!!!
Woot woot :)
