Great interview & interrogation brings back old memories. There's a motto that I recognized they used, "We don't lie, we use deception tactics." This is a very common term that is used during times like these. Good job, and the investigators hanged their hats on this one.
In some of the photos of her, she looks like a complete psychopath! I don't want to sound cynical but I can't help thinking that in the original investigation even though the family told the police about Stephanie's constant harassment, they refused to listen because she was a cop?
Poor lady, jealousy, resentment, and anger got the best of her. Left unchecked, this can be the end result. Nip it in the bud, early, deal with these dangerous emotions, address them in therapy uf needed. But do not allow them to sit inside you. They are likely to manifest in ugly ways, such as, in this case, murder.
I had to get the attention of the FBI (2004) before getting justice served in Belmont County OH due to their curupt court system. My son's biological father was a deputy sheriff at the time. Talk about a CURUPT system!!!😢😮 YIKES
I can only imagine the panic she felt as the surge of adrenaline ran through her system. Shock, panic, and eventually terror at the realization she was caught. Even so, it was *nothing* compared to the panic, fear, and pain that Sherry felt as she was attacked by Stephanie. I wish we could have watched her trial: the victim impact statement made by John was fascinating, even as it was heartbreaking. Too bad we weren't able to see more of Stephanie's demeanor as her evil deed was made known to everyone. Thanks for the excellent coverage and the old pictures.

Where did my parents meet, erm oh jeez, ye ye, I believe I was conceived about 9 months before I was born but nothing is standing out in my mind..."
