      Thumbs down is a slow finger trick and requires a lot of strength so I recommend using thumbs up finger trick instead because it's faster and requires less strength.

    Tip:If you absolutely hate practicing finger tricks, do one hand solves. If you get sub 1:30 solves go back to two handed and finger tricks will be sooooo easyyyyy

    I’ve found the finger tricks pretty helpful, but do you have any tips to get rid of pauses in algorithms? I would always pause in sections and I haven’t been able to get rid of it

      if it's because of regrips then you have to find a way to eliminate regrips (watch my OLL/PLL videos for example algorithm executions)

    For the D' in 4:01 I use my right middle and it also prevents me from regripping

      or u could just use the normal right hand ring finger, its also regripless, or the push with your left hand (also ring finger)

    you know, it really sucks when you need to improve your solve time but all you have is a rubik's brand cube and your speedcube is supposed to come in tomorrow at 9pm on *sunday* which means you won't have any time to practice with it until after school on monday yknow how that feels? mkay i got it now and it's HELLA smooth for 24 bucks. worth it.

    6:17 i actually do the m move but a different way i use my index finger bring it all the way up and push down to the alg it also leaves you in home grip so you don't need to regrip i prefer tying this as it helps me to be faster

    The more u use the a speed cube your finger tricks improve naturally like i learned almost all of them naturally, but some of the finger tricks sometimes are not naturally developed and videos like this really helped me improve my finger tricks.

      Ben Baron it is more efficient and cooler, but I don’t think it’s faster, and you are way more likely to mess it up

      With basic eo you should only ever get this when you multislot for the last two pairs and can't necessarily do eo, and then it's a 1/216 chance. So it's pretty rare yeah

    It blows my mind how fast you are able to do those. I feel like after hours upon hours of practice it still takes me 5+ secs to do the same thing it takes you a split second.

    I’ve found that when I’m doing R I put my thumb below the right side, which make doing D moves a lot easier but it sometimes require regrips

    One question, for D2, would ring and middle finger do good as well? Just wondering since I notice that I feel more comfortable using my ring and middle finger for D2 than pinky and middle or middle and pinky.

      Oh yeah. I do the same thing. I actually didn't realise you have to use ring and pinky as well. Ring and Middle for D2 doesn't sound too bad anyway since most people's pinky's are smol

    You can do a perms like jperms, but use a wide move to take out the cross piece

    For double flicks I use both my index and middle finger, but for U moves I use my middle finger. It doesnt hinder my solving significantly, so do you think that it's a bad habit?

    i learned m slice pretty quick by just using generated scrambles but adding an m slice after every single move in the scramble, lots of re gripping and scrambles took longer but it was really easy to get used to it.
