Ordered mine the day after they were released and I begged you since that day to make this review! Haha I knew you'd love this blade! And Im thankful that you reviewed it! I absolutely love mine. It's been my esc since I got it. Still haven't come close to needing to sharpen it haha! Months of everyday use and still hair shaving sharp
@@Stassa23 Considering the G3 is one of the go-to EDC fixed blades (even tho it is made for harder use), that sounds like we really do have a new fixed EDC champion! This looks much easier to carry than the Bradfords due to the profile so unless I'm out clearing the land, the Overland is going to have pocket time over the G4.
I picked up the Overland Sport at Blade West last week and couldn’t be happier. Amazing knife. TJ is one of the brightest minds in the entire knife industry. Great guy too!
I’m probably going to order a second one because when I find one that is a good as this one I want a back up. Let me know what you think when you get yours 👍🍻🍻
Crkt Ruins a lot of their designs with 8cr13mov. I wished they'd just stick with D2 for what they want price wise. 9cr18mov or anything other than 8cr13mov. Thanks for sharing brother 👊
Good review! It's a great looking knife, but out of range of what I am willing to pay. It always amazes me that fixed blades often cost more than similar folders, when there is so much more engineering, machining, and labor involved in producing a folder. I realize that this is a custom, in a premium steel though.
I really wish someone would compare this knife with the guardian 3.5 sheep foot. Blowing close to $300. I would like to see a side-by-side video somewhere.
Also don't overlook the full-size version for a fantastic general purpose or camp knife. I use mine in the kitchen all the time because the design keeps your knuckles from hitting the cutting board. It's a truly awesome knife and I'm thinking about getting the sport version as well for edc.
That’s seems like a bad little knife. Do you know any less expensive edc knives that have similar edge geometry? Like you said flat grind and 18• edge per side, not to think behind the edge?
Wow, this is a fantastic review. Thanks for taking the time to show off the the little details we've worked hard on! We can't thank you enough.
Love the blade geometry. Really lets a shorter blade punch above it’s weight. Or length.
Talent warrants praise!
I EDC the full size Overland without problems. Full size is around 8.5 inches but very compact and nice sheath.

I love my Overland, but you're absolutely right. This is the perfect EDC fixed blade
Super excited to get mine.
Me too!
Worth mentioning that TJ Schwartz was the designer of the Koenig Arius.
Damn how did I forget to add the Arius , I new I was forgetting one of his big designs 👍🍻🍻
Have had a scalpel from him for awhile and never realized he designed so many other knives. Great review!
I ordered the full size one today. 1-4 weeks and my Guardian4 is going to have some competition!
Yep , I know it blew my guardian 3 away but my guardian 3 is more of a hard use fixed blade with the thicker grind. Let me how the bigger one is 👍🍻🍻

That is my favourite EDC fixed blade. It's perfect. Cheers S23 love your work
Cool YT Name 😃
i bought one after seeing your preview and was immediately sold!!!
thank you for actually putting it in your pocket so we can see what that looks like. So many others don't!

Nick I’m really glad you get so much happiness from the fixed blades. I feel like a wife I just don’t get the love there. That good magnacut is good!
Sick review. I have one the way for my brother. Taco sheaths are less adaptable, but I'm surprised he doesn't offer both.
Got one on order for a week or two now, hopefully here in time to carve mini pumpkins!
I have the confidant and this knife. I’m always torn on which one I want to carry everyday. They are amazing knives.
Just ordered mine today and can’t wait for it to arrive. Also got a custom leather sheath on the way
this is by far my favorite knife i own i was just a blown away by it as you great review
That's high praise! Thanks so much for your support.
I did not know that he’s now doing these smaller versions!!! I’m here for this sweeettt!!!!
Mine came in yesterday, I love it!
I hope it's good because I've ordered 2 of them.
Mostly based on your previous reviews.
Thanks for reinforcing my desire for a good knife.

Awesome. Love the crkt overland
Very nice design, perfect geometry and steel. Especially for EDC because of the pocket carry sheath.
Can’t forget about him being the designer of the Koenig Arius as well.
Yep I new I was forgetting a big one 👍🍻🍻
Fantastic little fixed blade, I'd really like to get one of these. Good video. Thanks
🔥, as always, great review. Thanks Brother.
I'd love to have one of his knives. Will have to save my lunch money : )

Yeah it'd be nice if there was a production version of this in 14c28n for us poor people
I have the perpetua he designed I carry it all the time
If you like the crkt shape its the same but in nitro-v with cross bar lock.
I had a perpetua back when Drop.com was still around it was definitely a cool folder , I ended up gifting it to a good friend 👍🍻🍻
Great video
Just ordered mine! Thank you for the video 😎

Would this knife be good for a self defense EDC?
How much does it weigh? I don't see it listed on the website and may have missed it on the review.
Thanks.
Nick it's a drain hole. Or a hole for drainage. J/S
That overland knife looks exactly as any Sinkevich fixed knife
I can see the resemblance, maybe if you take the Spyderco drunken and the Zt 0850 and blended them together them you could have a Overland 👍🍻🍻
If the Böker Trance were a fixed blade, this is what I'd expect!
I see it 😎
I use to love all Of Chad Los Banos’s designs the Trance I think was my first Boker I ever bought 👍🍻🍻

Not off hand but I do have a top 10 budget edc fixed blade video I’m working on now 👍
$265 😮 ouch
looks great, but cost prohibitive...
What's really unbelievable....you still have a phone book laying around. I haven't seen one of those in 20 years. 😂
